Speaker 1 (00:01):
That's the.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Grab Christina's koopy Jar.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Guys, we officially know the next band to headline the
Sphere in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Okay, I have not seen it. Have you seen it, Katine?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I have?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Okay, Well, then give me three guesses.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
This will be the first time a female is headlining
at the Sphere.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Okay, So I was going to say Cold Place, so
take that out of the mix. My first guess is
Olivia Rodrigue.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Older and it is a band.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Oh Fleetwood Mac no oh, that would be good. Good
guests though, thank you Kevin.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
They played Coachella last year.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
That's good for me because I have no idea who
played Coachella last year. Give me one last guest that
doesn't give it away. Are you having trouble thinking of
female lead bands? No, no, no, I just I'm trying
to think of a woman. Man. I'm trying to think
of the right female lead band because they seem to
be leaning in on legends at the Sphere. So is
this legendary or Zach brown Man legends? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Are they doing it? I just think it's like Grateful
Dead and you two and.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I agree this. This was kind of a surprise to me.
And one last clues she is married to one of
your favorite people alive.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Your best friend.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Does Jessica Novinsky front your music leader? My music leader
is Tom from Oklahoma? Wait from Oklahoma? Yeahs? Oh my god,
Who's No Doubt is headlining this. I'm having trouble with

(02:03):
the Blake Shelton connection.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Huge news because, like I said, they've only played I mean,
it's been a long time since they've played together. But
they got together at Coachella. Everyone loved them there, and
they played at the Fire Aid in January of this year,
and so now.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
They're a really fun band. I've never seen them live neither,
but I immediately have a couple No Doubt songs that
are popping off in my head, and I'm like, that's
a fun band.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
And they play her solo stuff too. Oh cool. Okay,
they'll do Halla Back Boy, and they'll do all the stuff. Okay,
it's hall a Batgirl, All back Girl.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Unless they change it to boy because she's with the
band now.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Man, they'll do that song.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
That'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Okay, Because I was wondering, again, I've never seen them live,
but the Spheary have so much to work with, which
Gwen went into how excited she is to work with
all that space.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
But I just don't. I don't know. I look forward
to seeing what they do with it.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
But what's the first song that pops in your head
when someone says, no doubt, don't speak?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Okay for you too, I'm just a girl. Actually, okay,
those are great.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
The first one, For whatever reason, I think it's just
because the riff is so iconic.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Bomb bom bom bomp. Is that called keep on dancing?
Is that called hell good? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Okay, that's the first. Like that riff just pops into
my head and in the way she sings the thing,
it's very simple. I also so when I was a kid,
I very much loved the band, well some of their songs.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I didn't know their whole catalog. But there's a band
called Talk Talk.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah, and they had a song called talk Talk And
I loved that song, Talk Talk because it was in
my favorite movie the year it came out.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Have you guys ever seen Night Shift? No?

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Night Shift is the movie that launched Michael Keaton, and
he is so effing funny in it. He plays a
guy named Billy Blaiseekowski and he shoot from the hip
Guy and Arthur Fonzarelli. Henry Winkler is real, like you know,
stuffy guy, and they on a morgue and Billy Blaskowski
convinces Henry Winkler to start running prostitutes out of the morgue.

(04:07):
And that song Talk Talk by Talk Talk is in
the movie, and I really think it would hold up.
I think if you guys watch Night Shift, you do
you guys like Michael Keaton.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yeah, I love Michael Keaton.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
You've got to see this. This is the I might
watch it night. This is the movie that launched his career.

Speaker 4 (04:22):
It's directed by Ron Howard, like even before I think
he did Splash. But it's called night Shift. It's very
very funny, and Michael Keaton is a tour to force
and Talk Talk is in that is in that movie.
And the reason I'm going on this long riff is
because the other huge Talk Talk song is It's My
Life that No Doubt did a great cover of.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
That's a great cover, very good. And then she does
know it's cool on our it's our solo thing. The
song cool. Yeah, it's every time, it's it's a banger.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
I remember, I didn't realize it's my life was a
cover until just a few years ago.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
My mind was blown. It always happened.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I'm like, wait, that was You kind of feel lied to,
you know when you realize that.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
It's the thing too though, It's like as you get older,
you're going to bump into more cover songs. Ago, Oh
oh yeah, I never knew.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
What else is a sneaky good no doubt song? What's
that is underneath it all? I don't think I know it?

Speaker 3 (05:17):
Is that? Why it me singing a little bit? Oh yeah,
that is great? Okay, she's going.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yeah that end that sounds like someone is tickling your gooch.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
That song? You don't know that song?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Oh no, I know it?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Well, anyways, they're going to be there for six dates
in May and pre sale starts October fifteenth.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Wait a minute, when in May?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Next May?

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Oh, six, eighth, ninth, thirteenth, and fifteenth.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
I was hoping they're gonna do it for my birthday
because my birthday is one day away from Mike Siroy's. Yeah,
the week before, just me and Mike Siroy we're gonna
leave our families by and go on a solo duo
trip to go see no doubt. It's the sphere, but
I guess it's not gonna happen. Ben and skin Show
ninety seven point won the Eagle. Thank you Christina for
that report on the sphere. Coming up next and around

(06:13):
the sports, how did the gms of the NBA think
the MAVs are going to do? Specifically Cooper Flagg. We'll
get into all that next
