Okay, here on the Ben and Skin Show, we've had
a lot of success working with Orchard, the good folks
at Orchard dot com. We love telling our listeners about
it because it is revolutionary and we're going to tell
you all the reasons why. Heck, even Christine on our

we have brought in Jonathan Jenkins, who is head of
brokerage at Orchard. Now, Jonathan, you're a guy who has

bringing over a decade of experience into this and now
you're here at Orchard, and so we can educate our
listeners and also even real estate agents out there about
why they should be working with Orchard. So the first
thing to kind of set the tone, let's talk about this,
what are some of the biggest mistakes that people make

when they sell their home?

Deskin, I think one of the biggest mistakes people make
is just picking the wrong agent. So I see a
lot of people that might just pick the agent they
use last, or pick the one that promises in the
highest sales price. And really, you want to do your
due diligence when searching for an agent, and make sure
you pick one that has the right products, the right
support to you, and ultimately the right data points to
make sure that you price right, sell your home fast,

and also sell for top dollar. So it Orchard. Our
agents are super experienced. They have ninety nine percent more
experience than agents in DFW on average. They're combined with
you know, great back support, so people that help them
with the pricing, that help with concierge, so we can
make sure that repairs are done on homes and upgrades,
you know, make the home look really really nice, and
ultimately that results in home selling faster for more money.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Okay, that that all makes a lot of sense to me,
But what gets the buyers to Orchard agents faster? How
does this work? Do you guys have magic tools or
something special that really facilitates this process.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
We do have magic tools. So our magic tools are
the best agents and the best services. So the first
thing we do with any listing, it's a custom marketing
campaign that goes live over Facebook and Instagram, making sure
that we get eyeballs on that listing from every direction
and the background. Our concier team is going to be
working on repairs for the home. They're going to be
doing upgrades to make sure that home really shines when
it hits the market. And then we're also doing things

like sourcing cash offers, so if that is an option,
if you need to move quick, we do have that
in our back pocket to make sure you're really looking
at all the different ways that you could sell your home.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Okay, my favorite thing about Orchard move first. When we
first started working with you, guys trying to understand, wait
a minute, you just move and you'd go on with
your life and you wash your hands or your home
and then Orchard handles everything. It sounds too good to
be true. How is this even possible that it works?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, I hear that all the time. It sounds too
good to be true. Yeah. So with Orchard you can
you can buy first and sell later. It's awesome. What
we do is we give you cash up front so
you can go out and home shopping, buy your next
home first, and then once that's done and you're sitting
in your new home and join your backyard with your family,
We're going to do all the hard work in the background.
So we're going to get your home market ready by
doing concert repairs and upgrades. Put it on the market

and ultimately get it sold for top dollar.

And for a guy like me, it's just crack a
beer and let you guys do everything. Okay, I talked
about your experience earlier. Now you're leading the team at Orchard.
What is that like? What does it mean for you? Really? Yeah?

Ton of fun leading one of the fastest growing brokerages
in DFW. We have some of the best agents and
I'm really blessed just on a daily basis to work
around some of the greatest minds in real estate here locally.
One of our agents was actually just telling me that
last year was his best year ever because he came
to Orchard. One of the things that sets us apart
is at Orchard we give our agents referrals on a
monthly basis. We're giving them lots of opportunities to meet

That agent was actually telling me that twenty twenty four,
