Com Okay, so that's edgy. So six straight and they
won nine out of ten. Yeah, and they're getting hot
at just the right time. And I thought I was
hearing that however they played out of the break was
going to determine if they'd be buyers or sellers at
this trade deadline. And this is just another example of
me being dead wrong with a sports opinion because I

wanted them to be sellers, and what an idiot I
looked like. I had no idea they were about to
do this, And they're the hottest team in baseball, and
that's all it takes sometimes, you know. I was thinking
back to the year they won the World Series, and
that kind of shocked everybody. They got off to an
incredibly hot start, they were forty and twenty and then

they just meandered the rest of the way and got
hot at the exact right time and then won every
road playoff game and won all these series and then
won it all. And so sometimes it's just about putting
it together and getting hot at the right time. Maybe
that's what this is. Maybe they just needed this much
time to get this deep into the season to realize
who they really could be.

Well, they're riding the best team era in the league.
So the pitchers are the best pitching staff in the league.
So we got riding that while the offense is farting around.
And now the offense is all starting to hit all
at once, which is great. Now that's all happening. Just

you've given up all your own We're inert second in
the American League, and I think they're fifth in all
of baseball. Like they are a playoff team. Everything like

that many games, even though they do play too many games,

is that you do kind of get a chance to
get out of it when you have sucked for a while.
Like dude, Marcus Simmons, kind of good now he got

and stayed in the game and then got the game winning.
Yet I do this thing I want I wanted to

as a joke. Every time I have the Rangers on

that is, and that's not a livable situation.

Right. Here's what I do to my wife whenever she's
watching something. She watches a lot of shows that I
don't watch, and so I'll come in in the middle
of it and she's way into it, and I'll go,
what's that guy's deal? And she'll answer me early on
she'll go, oh, he's this, Then what's what's the squirrels deal?
What's her deal? And I'll just keep there asking your
questions about it. She's like, stop putting her to work

Okay, but I am curious about this. So the Rangers
now the trade deadline is Thursday. What do they do
Do they say, all right, we've this is it, We're
we're We've got the pitching, we're good enough. What do
we need? Do they need a closer? Do they need
relief help? Do they need another bat?

I don't know who they would get rid of in
the order to put a new bat, And so I
don't know really what they need. But they're loaded. They
got tons of talent. They got a top five prospect
in the game, right Sebastian Walcott that shows up, So
I don't I wouldn't. I'm not saying I would trade him.
But if is this the time to go for it,
I think you just bullpin up. Yeah, you absolutely go
for it. No, one hundred percent, you're going.

For now because like this is what they thought they
were is the way they're playing now is what they
thought they were. Not They're gonna not They're not gonna
win this many games in a row. They're gonna win
nine out the last ten. But like it'll it'll ease
back up a little bit. But they even the first
two weeks of the seasons, like, okay, they're gonna be
pretty good, right, and then their offense just stopped happening.
They need bullpen stuff, they need bullpen help because there's

just too many times when it's like three just they

even though he drove us nuts or Aldis Chapman and
guys like that. That's what they need to do, and.
