hot women at the bar.

I just noticed the hottest one ever.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
And I'm gonna go over there and make some moves.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I don't know, the one that's got the big wedding
ring on her finger. Yeah, yeah, dude, you can leave

than attention. But we have sacked opposite of anything she wants.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
But the other lady who turned around when I did
the pour some sugar on me?
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, okay, what does that mean? What you know?
Speaker 3 (02:46):
But because that song, you know, that song is a vibe, right,
what kind of vibe? Well, if it turns people, if
it turns you around and you're like, hey, what what's
going on here?
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Right?
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Did you have ma'am? Did you think strip club?
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Went?
Speaker 2 (03:00):
And he said that she's not in your Head's okay, awesome.
And now the guy she's with turned around and went,
wait what, yes, what is happening right now? He confided
in me that he used to dance at Lebert So
that was his song. Is that's why he's wearing a
bow tie with no shirt. That's okay, man, that makes
(03:21):
sense now? All right, So we're at Pluckers in Dallas.
We'd love for you to come hang out with us,
Come come say hello, get your weekend start off right?
Obviously a big portion of today's show is going to
be discussing Dallas Cowboys football. When does their season start?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
What a strange game like to First of all, how
long was the weather delay?
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Hour? Like? An hour? An hour? Yeah, fifteen?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
And the second part of the game that happened after
the weather delay was a totally different game. Like early
it was each offense just scored every time they had
the ball, and then after that nobody scored.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah, that is pretty crazy, and it is weird in
any sport when you have a crazy long delay. I
would imagine far and away the worse for that is football,
because there's just hitting on every play. Hey, go, get ready,
hit for an hour and a half, stop for an hour,
and do it for We'll wait till halftime, then play
(04:15):
for about fifteen, then stop for another hour, and then
go out there and do some more hitting and let
me know how it works out.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
The best part of all that was Trayvon Diggs has
kind of snuck off to do his own thing and
was looking for uncrustables in the field level suites. That
was my favorite report of the night Right. They had
like security cam footage of him walking and taking his
pads off he's going into the suite full of Eagles fans.
They had uncrustables because the sandwich trailer or the sandwich
cart was on the way to the locker.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Room, right, so he was looking for some food.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
They're not prepared for that type of thing, right, And
it does. We should have known it was gonna rain
last night, and I think it was talked about a
little bit.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
It does show how great uncrustables are because even in
you're a corner making over like twenty million or whatever
he's making per year, you still just want a good
old uncrustable.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Oh yeah, dude. Actually, just if they're summon an ice chest.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
It's funny though, because the professional athlete views it as fuel,
and I'll view it has something to do on cheat day, right, right,
is not healthy?
Speaker 1 (05:09):
All right.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
So the way the game started, it felt like the
Cowboys are gonna give up fifty points. I was like, Okay,
this is the worst defense that's ever happened, that no
one's ever put together.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Worst defense.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
The Cowboys were insisting on bringing just four people to
rush the quarterback and they were getting absolutely no pressure,
which made me miss Micah Parsons. Obviously, I'm like ah, leave,
you just had one disruptor. But it's a tough game
to like reconcile because I think ultimately they lost and
there are no moral victories. But I think ultimately I
(05:43):
leave that game being encouraged that they're better than I
thought they were.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I'm way encouraged for a lot of reasons. The main
things is most of the run damage was done when
they were passing, like they couldn't contain Jalen Hurts. Saquon
Barkley did not run all over the Cowboys. I mean,
he had some nice runs, but he did not run
all over the Cowboys. Jalen Hurts ran all over the
Cowboys when they couldn't contain him when the pocket broke down, Right,
(06:10):
So all right, try to figure out how to fix that.
But man, the final minute of the first half gave
me so much blood flow to my lower section. I
forgot what it was like when an offense knows how
to run the end of a half right. I could not.
I was like, man, I've seen other teams do this before.
(06:30):
You mean to tell me the head coach has a
plan when they called I mean, because you know you're
watching it and you see eight seconds on the clock
and then the refs calling a timeout, and then he says,
there's fifteen seconds on the clock. You're watching that going.
Mike McCarthy would have never, under any circumstance ever called
that timeout. They manufactured three points with fifty seconds to
(06:51):
go and two timeouts, and both of their timeouts were
called so well thought out based on the circumstances, because
it's easy, eat a second to do it after the factor, right,
it's easy to go. You should have done this, you
should have done this. They knew exactly what they were doing.
They knew how much time needed to happen, what kind
of plays to run. I don't even know the last
(07:12):
time we had that Romo going rogue. Maybe that was
that was far and away from me. Besides the fact
they didn't get blown out by the Eagles, the most
encouraging thing was like, oh, things are different. Now we're
gonna play modern football. This is very exciting.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, Shody. I was very impressed by Shody.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
The motion, the play calling, the clock management, and having
the team ready to play. All that stellar stellar, stellar
grade for him, and in every way. You never anticipate
CD Lamb to have four drops in a game or
three drop whatever you want to call. You don't expect
cd Lamb to just drop passes that hit him right
in the bread basket.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Obviously, the Miles Sanders fumble.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Sucked the Pickens penalty.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
So the Pickens penalty was bad. But that's expected. But
that's what you signed up.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
For, right, did you see the y There was a
play where it looked like maybe he would get an
interference call over in the corner, but he didn't get it.
And as he's running back, he grabs the receiver's leg.
He wants to fight, but he's like, like and I
saw these posts are like, man, he almost let the
intrusive thoughts win because that's the way George Pickens thinks
his shoulder Devil on his shoulder, like, don't do that.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
But you know, all things considered, I don't, I don't.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
It was a terrible defensive game plan. The idea that
we're we're gonna rush for I guess we're gonna play
a lot of zone and we're not gonna spy the
quarterback because basically Jalen Hurts just you know, I left
that game being reminded that Jalen Hurts is not a
scary player. Like to me, he doesn't scare me like
(08:44):
he is. They have good receivers that weren't even there, Like.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
They didn't even throw the ball last year.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Aj Brown had one catch for eight yards. Vonta Smith
had three for sixteen. Like, bro, that's like those.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Are real weapon.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
And so once once the Cowboys are like, all right,
let's stop playing the way we planned to play the
first half when they score on us at will, let's
actually load up the box, stop the run and put
pressure on jailing Hurts.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Once they started doing that, they were great defense at
the horse.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
So why did they have such a bad game play?
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
And then why did they go back to it on
third and three with a minute forty left in the game.
You have a chance to get the ball back. Now,
it's not you're not feeling good about the Eagles having
the ball in third and three?
Speaker 1 (09:26):
And what did they do?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Four rushers, no spy, seven guys drop back, all playing zone,
just kind of not paying attention and then he runs
for the first down.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Like, dude, this you talking about in the first half, No,
the end.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Of the game.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Oh, third and three, because there's the Cowboys had their
time out still, Yeah, after they didn't make the fourth
and three.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Right, so the Eagles get the ball, you got a
chance to get the ball back. It's third and three.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
They just got that seven yard pass to aj Brown
his only catch of the night, and then they went
back to what they were doing the entire first half.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
So that part's confusing. It shouldn't feel like a win,
but it kind of did.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
I mean, I gotta sitting there going, oh, they're gonna
kill the Giants next week, and that's so terrible.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I can't tell you how many people I talked to
that were like, oh my god, it's only eight and
a half.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
I'm taking the over.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
There are so many people, like, so many bad things
have been said about so many people involved with everything
last night, including.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
The coach, And like then he kind of realized, Okay,
maybe it's not that bad. He just have a clock.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Guy though, did to learn that?
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Oh it's.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Good for him?
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Right?
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Good?
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Why wouldn't he?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
All right, all right, we're not anywhere near done talking

(10:49):
But coming up next Part two of this initial discussion,
what were our impressions with the Cowboys season opener last night?
Speaker 1 (10:56):
We keep the conversation going. We're just three minutes away.
