Speaker 3 (00:08):

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Okay? Grew groups group groups and friend.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Of groups group.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Yeah, I don't really know the story.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yep. Doesn't seem like you're that good.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Of for a friend that she went jokes. You have
a great time.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
We are live from Pluckers in Dallas, so excited to
be here. We love, love, love Pluckers, and anytime we're
doing remotes at Pluckers, it reminds us that it's football season.
What a great place to come watch football, whether it's
college or whether it's the pros ors TVs. As far
as I can see in the Godly the wings are delicious.
And of course every Pluckers in town serves the big
German that is Dirk's Beer. That is the beer that

(00:51):
honors Dirk Limited minimal hops in a smooth finish, and
it's made by.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
A roller town of brewer. We're invest in, so big ups.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Everybody who's head not to Pluckers, either today, this location
or anytime this weekend or this entire football season. Uh,
we got a news quickie coming up at four point thirty.
We've got wild stories from burning Man. We got some
music news, and then uh, we've got some powerball news.
All that's coming up, but right now, Frankel and Frankel
are good friends. At Frankel and Frankel two one four

(01:19):
three three three thirty three thirty three. They're who you
need to call if you've been involved in a wreck
that's not your fault. Call them from the scene. Never
too early to get them involved. Cost you nothing to
call the Frankeles. They only get paid if they reach
a settlement on your behalf two one four all three's
for Franklin Frankel, and they want you to know that
right now it's time for this. Now is around the

(01:42):
sports KG twins as all the sports.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Yes, yeah, so we were talking about in the first hour,
just some you know, some hot thoughts on the Cowboys game.
But I wouldn't really want to lock in in this
segment on this sequence of plays that happened right before
the weather delay. Okay, because lightning was too close to
the stadium or whatever.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Back in my day, we would have played through.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
It, but I want to hear more about your day. Whatever.
What position were you?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Many many positions depending how much my weight fituated.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
He's the beginning of position flex, right, Yeah, I kind
of a pullback, kind of a tight ened maybe, kind
of bigger running back, kind of slower receiver, possession of receiver,
strong safety.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
So it's twenty one to twenty at halftime, because the
Cowboys manage the clock to perfection.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Let's go.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Brandon Aubrey looks as good as he always was, knocks
it down twenty one twenty feeling good.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Uh, and then you come out.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
And get a stop.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Okay, for the first time all game you stopped because
on second and third down you ran out two cornerback
blitzes out of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Let's go.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I was beautiful.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
So it's like, all right, this is feel pretty. Where
was it earlier? Digs didn't gonna tackle anybody though?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Where was it early? Why did they have such a
bad planary?

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Go ahead, Well, it's twenty four to twenty and the Eagles,
I'm sorry, the Eagles did go down and get a
field goal on that first drivet So twenty four twenty.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Which, by the way, I was so when that happened,
I was out with my son.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I looked up at the screen.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
It said that last year that dude was one for
seven from fifty.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
He always makes long kicks against the cow j Kelliott.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I was sitting there going, oh, badass, this is great.
We're gonna hold him.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
And then he drilled it.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Also, if you fool around and kick a touchback on
the uh on the kickoff, now they get the ball
to thirty five. Now, there just used to be the
twenty back in our day when they played through lightning storms. Remember,
so it's twenty four to twenty. And then you have
this big play where Miles Sanders takes up the left
side for forty four yards and he does get caught.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Like, we're like, that's the tough part of this.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
He not only got caught, the guy strategically circled him. Yeah,
the linebackers circle and their speeds were posted. Miles was
going eighteen and the linebacker's going twenty or something, and
so he circled around him to try to knock the
ball out.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
That's tough, and that's where you're going. Okay, Well, if
that was Jayden Blue, that's nice.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Jaydan Blue.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Apparently he was inactive. They say it's for special team's reasons.
It sounds like they don't trust him. That's what That's
what my vibe is on it right now.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I could be wrong.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
And because Miles Sanders ended up fumbling, which we'll get
to later, Jane blub is probably active next week.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Back in your day, you trusted players like trust players.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
My day, it was all about trust.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Now, that run was beautiful and Mike McCarthy could have
only dreamed of drawing up a play like that.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
This new guy that everyone's raving over the.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Run game was awesome.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Last night.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
They had a Clayton Adams the offensive coordinator.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
So when when do you give credit to him? What
do you give credit to? Shotty? How do you know?

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Well, this is that's the going that's gonna be interesting.
But anything that's a run play and giving Clayton Adams
a lot of credit for because this is what he
was known for in Arizona. So this is any cool
run play you see that looks new and different, he
should get the credit. He ended up getting head coaching
job out of this. That this ends up working out
the offense is really good. I don't know if you
what shot he did it last night, him and the

(04:56):
new clock coach.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Pretty good. I like what shot he's doing so far?
So forty four yards?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Very nice.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Okay, so here we are.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
We're down there first and about, we're first and town.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Walking on the twelve yard line. Yeah, you could still
get a first down. I think they're at the eleven
or maybe it was the twelve. You could still get
a first down. You're like, oh man, this is great.
We're about to score with take the lead.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
And then George Pickens just can't let go of his
old self and he goes at the neck of a defender.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
What a personal foul.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
It was so just out of nowhere dumb, such a
stupid play, so unnecessary.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
But I was watching that going, yeah, man, we signed
up for this.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yah. You know, this is no surprise to anybody that
he would get a personal foul like this.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
It's pretty much what's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Althohy Brad Sham got mad at everybody on Twitter.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
It's like, let's see him play first.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
All the talking camp though he's a new man, and
I'm like, no, it took him literally one game and
he's like everything that you knew he was about.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
He can't help it. It's really easy to talk about
how you're able to control your emotions now until adrenaline
enforces your emotions.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Then there's the past, the seam route to Ferguson. It's
first in twenty two here and it was underthrown. Now
there's speculation was it purposely underthrown like a back shoulder
throw where you can try to get the try to
get the devis of past interference as well.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Why not get it?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
I thought Ferguson could have adjusted better and caught it.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Personal. Yeah, I didn't think he had a good game.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
He had like one or two good catches, but on
that I didn't think he would look to that good.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
But I saw.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
I watched Dak watch the replay of the throw right
after he made it, and he seemed to regret.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Ye throw a little bit more good yeaven second now
is a bit of a wasted play. Third and twenty
two again up the same to Ferguson. Very catchable ball,
Reid Blake and Chip kind of hits him in the
neck a little bit, and that's all you need for
a flag these days.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Back in by Day, that was hit that was a
clean If anything, he was trying to get out of
the way and not hit him.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
I was like, that's this is the biggest gift ever.
That was not It should not have been a flag.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Football has changed so much. So remember the video NFL's
Greatest Decapitations.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, back in our day. Yeah, he jacked up. Yeah,
those great videos.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
And then and now that the old adage goes that
God wanted Texas Stadium to be opened so he could
watch his favorite team.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I think it was worded differently, but yeah, because he
was betting on his favorite time that he might have
been gambling.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Yeah, So God sees Miles Sanders fumble and he's like, Jesus,
can we get a storm going in here?

Speaker 3 (07:20):
I'm watching.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
So the weather delay happened because God watching his favorite team,
couldn't stomach the Miles Sanders fumble.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
It was I mean, all that happens and then the
game stops.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
It was so weird and not as weird as the
spinning in the Dak's cleavage in the first you know,
at the end of the game, I understand, but like
that whole sequence of place, I was sitting there going
this is going to be the story of this game
and it ends up not.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Being it like the story of the game is seen.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
I mean, that's incredible, you know that the that sequence
is nuts.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
But back to the Jalen Carter thing, the spitting.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
You know, later on the footage of Dak spitting first
came out and.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Then people are like, oh my god, look he's skilled.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
There's a huge difference between spitting on the ground and
spitting on a person. Yes, and Jalen Carter handled that horribly.
But my main takeaway from it when I saw the
footage of Dak doing it, I was like.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Look how comfortable deck is.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Like here he is playing the world champs, that's their best,
most intimidating defensive player, and he's just smiling, raising his eyebrows.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
That him. Like, I thought it was pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Yeh. The whole night, he looked happy, he looked comfortable,
and he played really well.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
I know his numbers don't really show it, but wouldn't
see he played well. See he dropped one hundred yards
of his past.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, no, no doubt about him.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Played well.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
You know, Dak's a I mean there's a lot of
different franchise quarterbacks, yeah, but he's a franchise quarterback. We've
known this, We've watched him a million times. Dak's always
been a spinner. I mean, some quarterbacks are swallowers. It's
a whole different thing.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
I don't know this quarterback.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Coming up next though, after this word from Ben and
Skin about our friends over at Reliant, let's talk about
some of the defensive standouts and how they performed after
that weather delay, because ours a lot of good things
that happened, and we'll do that next.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
All right, it's coming up in just about three minutes
live from Pluckers in Dallas. Freak Jesus just walked in.
Things are going really well here. Incredible
