And then gotten out of the race.

A Missouri state senator is under investigation by the Secret
Service after saying she hopes President Trump is assassinated.

I will go and take Trump out tonight. And if
you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant and
a deftment staff and a cassolet stasion, you get out
and you create a drive and you go back on
them and you fell.
Speaker 10 (25:58):
Them, know God.
Speaker 9 (26:01):
Anywhere, And sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system
and are honoring our constitution all right right at sixteen
hundred Pennsylvania Avenue.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
They're not going to stop before election day in November,
and they're not going to stop.

After election day.

And that should be everyone should take note of that
on both levels, that this is they're not going to
let up, and they should not.

That's the Democratic Party, the elected officials in their own words.
So when Joe Biden walks out on TV and tells
me that, oh, we need to dial things down. Maybe
you should look at your own damn party. You want
to know what makes me so proud to be a conservative,
to be a Magas supporter, to be a Trump supporter.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
We're not burning anything down. We're chanting USA.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
We're praying for our president who narrowly survived an assassination
and was shot. We're sitting here saying we want to
trust our government after a secret Service historic failure that
was solely based around in competency, based on from the
leadership at the highest levels, based on what I can see.
(27:20):
I'm sick and tired of people telling me that what
I'm witnessing before my very eyes is not what's really happening.
A great example of that is exactly what I'm talking
about with our media, their headlines after they tried to
kill Trump. Quote Trump escorted away after loud noises at
PA rally. The Washington Post with a picture of blood
coming down Trump's face. ABC News Trump escored off stage
(27:43):
by Secret Service during rally after loud noises ring out
in crowd.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
They tried to murder him. They tried to assassinate him.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
NBC News Secret Service rush Trump off stage after popping noises.
Newsweek Maga responds without rage after Trump injured at rally, injured,
they tried to blow his head off, the most grotesque
one of all, though, I do have to say I
got to give you a word to CNN. CNN's headline
after it happened, with Trump's fist in the air, blood
(28:14):
on his face, secret service around him, secret service rushes
Trump off stage after he falls at rally. That was
the actual headline. I've seeing it, and somebody at CNN
still has a job. I wrote that headline because they
hate him so much they don't want to tell you
the truth that hey, we tried.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
To kill him.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
And then we sit there and we get a lecture
from Donald I mean from Joe Biden tonight about civility, like.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
With all due respect, Like, man, screw you.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
You want to talk about civility. I just played your party.
Why don't you talk to your own party. Why don't
you tell your party that maybe we should dial it down.
Maybe we should stop trying to imprison an innocent man.
Maybe we should stop raiding the home of a former
(29:06):
president United States of America. Maybe we should stop allowing
for the weaponization of our judicial system to try to
bankrupt and lock up Donald Trump. I don't know what
else to say. I really don't let me also play Jensaki.
(29:30):
Jensaki said this right after the assassination on Meet the
Press Sunday morning.
Speaker 11 (29:36):
That is the question, and Jen, in fact, we've already
seen the finger pointing begin, some people even blaming President Biden.
We heard that very forceful condemnation by President Biden of
what happened. As someone who used to work with the president,
what are you anticipating in terms of he's obviously pulled
(29:57):
his political ads forward. But as Carol said, the question
is how does this moment last? And how do you
think he sees his role right now?
Speaker 10 (30:04):
I mean, I think his role I'm betting that how
he responded was as a human being, which is how
we just saw Lindsey Graham at moments during that interview
and Senator Sanders and Senator Kuon's respond That's how everybody
should be responding. For anyone out there who has a
platform who thinks the moment right now is to be
political and attack the other party, you are feeding into
the danger. You are making it more likely there's retaliation.
(30:28):
I'm incredibly scared I'm scared for journalists. I'm scared for
people who have public platforms of all parties, and that's
how people should feel. So for President Biden, I mean
Senator Coons mentioned he was in church. He's somebody who's
very prayerful. He is somebody who attends church. I think
he probably is relying on that, and in this moment,
I think his instinct would be not to be political
(30:49):
and you just take it day by day.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
That's where he would be.
Speaker 10 (30:52):
I mean, he has a huge interview tomorrow, and the
moment there is not to talk about the political path forward.
It is to be a healer and to lower the
rhetoric and the tenor and the conversation in the country.
Speaker 11 (31:06):
It's just fascinating. Every conversation is going to be different,
including that interview.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Jen Tomor, I mean, she's telling me that I should
be fearful. I'm scared for journalists. I'm scared for people
who have public jobs. Like what world are you living in?
Speaker 2 (31:20):
Jen?
Speaker 1 (31:21):
I mean, at least they're consistent with their rhetoric in
the media. Be afraid, be very afraid. But notice how
the media always makes about themselves, right, Oh, I'm afraid
for my safety.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Screw Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
That's what NBC News just put out less than twenty
four hours after someone tried to kill Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Oh, if you're in the media, we should be the
ones that are afraid. We're the ones that should be scared.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
