Speaker 1 (00:01):
This should have been done a long time ago by Biden,
but Biden was an incompetent president.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
He couldn't do anything it. He didn't know where where
it was going. He had no clue.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
And we've had numerous successful evenings and days in that area.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
The hoodies are absolutely on the run.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
The worst of them has been killed.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
Good Wednesday morning. Ben Ferguson with it. It's nice to
have you on the forty seven Morning Update. And here
are the three big stories that you need to know about.
First up, the President signing an executive order to secure
America's elections, meaning that your vote might actually count more
than ever before. Also, the Trump administration is cutting off
federal funding to Plan Parenthood. Between twenty nineteen and twenty
(00:45):
twenty one, Planned Parenthood performed one point one one million
abortions and much of it was subsidized with your tax dollars.
Have the breakdown of that story in just a moment.
And finally, the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Christy no
coming out saying we are preparing to eliminate FEMA. Could
it be because of all the waste, fraud and abuse.
(01:07):
It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Story number one.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Donald Trump making liberal heads explode. Why because he said
enough is enough with election fraud. The President signing an
executive order to secure our elections. This is the President
at the White House, in his own words on the
executive order.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Lastly, sir, we have an executive order for your attention
on the very important subject of election integrity. We believe
that this executive order is the farthest reaching executive action
taken in the history of the Republic to secure our elections.
Among numerous other aspects of this executive order, this is
going to cut down on illegal immigrants on the voter rolls,
(01:52):
ensure that the Department of Homeland Security and the data
that they have available is being fully weaponized to ensure
that illegal immigrants aren't voting. This will include a citizenship
question on the federal voting form for the first time.
This executive order instructs the EAC to cut federal funding
to states that don't take reasonable steps to secure their election.
(02:13):
This calls on the Department of Justice to vigorously prosecute
election crimes, particularly in states that we don't believe are
in compliance with federal law around election integrity. I could
go on and on for a while, sir, But compliance
with National Election Day rules, cracking down and investigating and
prosecuting foreign interference in our elections, Revoking President Biden's Executive
(02:36):
Order fourteen one point nine, which essentially weaponized government to
corrupt and pollute our election process. There's a lot in here,
but we believe that these are very important steps that
we need to be taking as an administration in your
direction to ensure that our elections are as secure as
they possibly can be.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Election fraud. You've heard the term will end it. Hopefully
this will go a long way toward ending it. There
are other steps that we will be taking as at
in the coming weeks, and we think we'll be able
to end up getting fair elections. Perhaps some people think
I shouldn't be complaining because we won in a landslide,
(03:14):
but we're going to straighten out our election. This country
is so sick because of the election, the fake elections,
and the band election, and we're going to straighten it
out one way or the other. And it's an honor
to sign this one, to sign all of them.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
But to sign this one is a great honor.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
So let's go through the list of things that are
going to drive the left and say, you actually have
to show proof of citizenship for voting. What a novel idea.
You can't get into virtually any other government program without
showing proof of citizenship, But when you show up to
vote in many liberal areas of the country like now,
we'll just trust your word. Also, funds tied to integrity
(03:48):
compliance are involved in the executive order and paper ballots.
There's something else called checks and balances, as many do
not trust the electronic machines. Also, the Attorney General is
going to track election fraud, making it a much bigger
issue so that when those who cheat are caught, there
will be hell to pay. Also, a crackdown on late ballots.
(04:12):
This is so important for election integrity because after someone
sees the results, allowing in late ballots can also be
abused in a major way to alter or change the
outcome of an election. And finally, the President United States
of America, in this executive action axes Biden's voter turnout
executive Order that was meant to allow for more waste,
(04:35):
fraud and abuse of our election day system. So to
President Donald Trump, I got to say congratulations and job
well done. He also teas we're going to be doing
more and we're expecting to hear more about that from
the White House in the coming days.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Next story number two.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
In a move that may become one of the most
important moves from Donald Trump's entire time as being president
United States of America, he may good on a promise
to protect unborn children in this country. The Trump administration
is about to cut off federal funding to Plan Parenthood.
Just how bad is it. Between twenty nineteen and twenty
(05:14):
twenty one, Planned Parenthood performed one point one one million
abortions while receiving approximately one point seven eight billion in
your tax dollars federal funding. Now, this is an average
of five hundred and ninety two million dollars every year.
(05:34):
If you look at their total budget, your tax dollurs
are covering over forty percent of their quote revenue. It
Planned Parenthood. Now, they want you to believe that the
money we send from the federal government does not go
to abortions. It's very clear it subsidizes those one point
one to one million abortions. Over the last two years
(05:54):
that we have data on because we're giving them so
much funding. Overall, NOD is being fooled Planned Parenthood. The
money is used for these abortion factories, and that is
exactly why the President United States of America is standing
up for American taxpayer dollars, saying they must not be
used to kill innocent unborn babies. Now, as of March
(06:16):
to twenty fifth, the Trump administration is planning to freeze
approximately twenty seven point five million in federal family Planning
grants to certain organizations, including Planned Parenthood affiliates. This action
aims to investigate whether these funds were used for diversity efforts,
ensuring compliance with President Trump's executive order and federal law.
(06:40):
The potential suspension will impact services, no doubt at Planned Parenthood.
We know that Planned Parenthood has four thousand clinics and
Planned Parenthood is well the number one abortion provider in
America and actually in the world. Vice President Jedi Vance
has previously indicated that a future Trump administration would seek
(07:02):
to defund Planned Parenthood, stating at the time, quote our
view is we don't think that taxpayers should fund late
term abortions. In January of this year, President Trump signed
executive Order fourteen one eighty two titled Enforcing the High Amendment,
which prohibits the use of federal taxpayer dollars for elective abortions.
(07:23):
This order revoked prior related orders and directed agencies to
implement the policy. There was also another very important question
that was asked of Donald Trump. It was during a
press conference where it came out that the funding was
going to stop to Plan Parenthood, and there was another
question asked by a reporter specifically about Planned Parenthood selling
(07:45):
aborted baby body parts. Here's the question that the President
wanted to answer.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
If Planned Parenthood is defunded, would you look into the
harvesting of baby organs that they've done throughout the years
and maybe go up to some criminal prosecution on that.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Well, I think you're talking about a subject that is
a heated subject, and we'll look into it. We'll look
into everything. But that's certainly a subject that's been debated
for a long time and we will.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
Look into it.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Yeah, it's very obvious the President of United States of
America is not going to just stop with the funding,
as he put it, we will look into it.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
And finally, story number three, we.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
All know that a core mission of the Trump administration
is to truly get rid of waste, fraud and abuse.
But just how bad is that fraud and abuse, especially
when it comes to agencies like FEMA. Well, apparently it
may be so bad now that the Department of Homland
Security Secretary Christy no under Donald Trump is saying, quote,
we are preparing to eliminate FEMA altogether. We also know
(08:49):
that FEMA has picked winners and losers, helping some Americans
when they need the emergency help and well forgetting others
depending on where you live in the country with a
homeancecar party. Secretary Christin nom has told the Trump administration
that preparations are underway quote unquote to eliminate the Federal
Emergency Management Agency. It was a quick comment, by the way,
(09:11):
on Monday, with no related lead in that, according to
The Hill that got this scoop. President Donald Trump responded
with quote that's great, great job, in what seemed to
be a reaction to her preceding comments on border security. Now,
Trump said previously that he does not have a favorable
view of FEMA and has considered its elimination. Sener. Peter Welch,
(09:34):
a Democrat from Vermont, posted on x his response to
Gnoam's statement on eliminating FEMA by saying this, Vermont has
been hit hard by flooding the last two years, and
I'm the first person to say that we need to
make improvements to FEMA, But eliminating it altogether would make
disasters more deadly and destructive and make it much harder
(09:54):
for communities to recover. Trump, by the way, signed an
executive order last week sitting the stage for a the
major overhaul of federal disaster relief programs. And let's be clear,
the President is not trying to eliminate disaster relief help
from the federal government. He is, however, clearly trying to
get rid of some of the waste and abuse of
programs under FEMA's directive. It read, in part, this executive
(10:19):
order delivers on President Trump's commitment to shift power from
Washington to the American people. The order laid the foundation
for quote greater state and local control of emergencies and funding.
The order enables states and local governments to better understand,
plan for, and address the needs of their citizens by
(10:41):
reducing the complexity of federal preparedness and response policies. In
other words, Donald Trump is saying states know what they
need and local communities know what they need in a
disaster more than bureaucrats in Washington, d C. Now, there
is no official closing or in dat announced for FEMA
or any other federal office or department that responds to disasters. Clearly,
(11:04):
the President wants to make sure that this is done
in a very responsible way and most importantly, that emergency
management response from the government is much better than it
is right now. You don't have to look very far
back in history to see also that FEMA may have
been involved in significant political actions, picking winners and losers
(11:25):
in the United States, depending on if you're in a
liberal state or a liberal city, or a conservative state
or a conservative city. Presidents made it clear that politics
shouldn't matter when you're dealing with emergencies, especially when you're
someone that may have lost everything, your home, your cars,
and even had a job that disappeared because of a disaster.
(11:45):
And this is exactly why the President has the backing
of the American people on this issue.
