really doesn't seem like something that the government should be

involved in. It certainly doesn't sound like like one Minnesota,
which Tim Wallas talks about bringing us, bringing us all together.
He wants citizens to turn on each other and literally
turn each other in. So I would I would greatly
appreciate a call back and and let me know how
this how this fits into this whole unifying message that

Tim Walls and Peggy Flannagan are trying to sell to
Minnesotan's because to me, this just doesn't seem right, and
this really just doesn't seem like great leadership To me,
I don't know, neighbors encouraged to rat out their neighbors
doesn't sound too Minnesotan to me.

a statement Friday in light of the videos release, saying,
in part, unfortunately, I was targeted by an operative for
an extremist right wing organization determined to malign public health
officials and take down the public health system in America.
Varma also admitting he took part in two public gatherings,

saying I take responsibility for not using the best judgment
at the time. The fallout leading to termination from his
job at Siga Technologies, a pharmaceutical company where he served
as executive vice president and chief medical officer. The company
did not respond to multiple requests for comment. A spokesperson
for Varma would not comment on the firing.

He is one Democratic city council member not holding back
slamming Varma.

and has never been a member of the current and administration.
While some are calling on Mayor Eric Adams to retroactively
compensate city workers who were fired for violating COVID mandates,
Varma helped put in place.

People chose not to follow those rules, and his behavior
doesn't change the fact that we save lives because.

Some city council members are calling for there to be
an investigation into all of that what happened, But again
Mayor Adams kind of shying away from willing to compensate
anyone who may have lost their jobs during that time.

Okay, yeah, I love this. Like now, we're not going
to help anybodyouse that lost their job? Would we do that?

Yeah, there's nothing to see here. Let me let me
also say one more thing about this. Do you remember
how we fired a bunch of the best and I
mean the best in our military for not getting the vaccine.

Do you remember that? And we wouldn't let anybody like
you know, have a reason to not get the vaccine.
Remember that? Remember that when that was a thing. Yeah,
I do. You want to know how many those people
have got their jobs back? Zero?

Because the Biden Harris administration refuses to reinstate those individuals
who they fired, who lost their job, that were serving
in our military. They're willing to risk our lives, but
they didn't want to take the vaccine. They were willing
to risk their lives. That's what you're that's what you're
