calling Trump supporter's garbage, but then saying it was a misspeak.

about our relationships around the world that depend on a

Truckers right now are celebrating as Trump has blocked a
loophole for foreign drivers which put many people's lives, they say,
at risk. Truckers celebrating Donald Trump's decision to restore enforcement
of a rule that excludes foreign truckers from the roses
if they cannot read English language signs and instructions. By

the way, this doesn't seem crazy at all. No, it's
not racist. It's about public safety.

That is what the co founder of the American Truckers
United said, who explained that the truckers problem is real. Uh.

drivers violating English proficiency rules are placed out of service,

Sixteen, President Barack Obama's deputies told highway inspectors to stop
pulling licenses from drivers who cannot speak English. This was
not some big public thing, by the way, This is
what you call it quiet shh. Hey, we don't want
we don't want anybody that can't speak English and can't
read the you know, what's happening on the roadways and
the signage to lose their jobs. So you guys stop

pulling their licenses, right, Because we want illegals in this country.
We want them to be hired. We certainly don't want
them to you know, get fired from a job because
or not be hired for a job because they can't
speak English or read the damn signs.

So Obama's deputy said, hey, stop pulling the licenses, and
they said, no problem now. That issue then ballooned under
President Joe Biden when many thousands of illegal migrants, legalized
migrants and b one visa visitors got commercial drivers' licenses
via the lax rules in California and other states. As

they said, hey, we will put illegal immigrants ahead and
those that don't speak English ahead of public safety. A
prominent trucking insurance executive told me that he estimates more
than forty percent.

Let me say that again.

He estimates more than forty percent of truck drivers in
the US, our first generation immigrants. That's a lot ten
percent of the total truck driver population. Quote does not
speak English proficiently. That's not a good thing for public safety.
The result is that American drivers and their trucking companies
are losing revenue to huge numbers of foreign drivers, many

who work in crews to run trucks without sleep throughout
the most lucrative long distance routes. So that's hurting American
truck drivers as well. American truckers cannot compete because these

we don't want anybody that can't speak English and can't
read the you know, what's happening on the roadways and
the signage to lose their jobs. So you guys stop
(23:05):
pulling their licenses, right, Because we want illegals in this country.
We want them to be hired. We certainly don't want
them to you know, get fired from a job because
or not be hired for a job because they can't
speak English or read the damn signs.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
Right.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
So Obama's deputy said, hey, stop pulling the licenses, and
they said, no problem now. That issue then ballooned under
President Joe Biden when many thousands of illegal migrants, legalized
migrants and b one visa visitors got commercial drivers' licenses
via the lax rules in California and other states. As
(23:41):
they said, hey, we will put illegal immigrants ahead and
those that don't speak English ahead of public safety. A
prominent trucking insurance executive told me that he estimates more
than forty percent.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Let me say that again.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
He estimates more than forty percent of truck drivers in
the US, our first generation immigrants. That's a lot ten
percent of the total truck driver population. Quote does not
speak English proficiently. That's not a good thing for public safety.
The result is that American drivers and their trucking companies
are losing revenue to huge numbers of foreign drivers, many
(24:17):
who work in crews to run trucks without sleep throughout
the most lucrative long distance routes. So that's hurting American
truck drivers as well. American truckers cannot compete because these
tactics would force them to violate safety regulations.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
And split their low wages.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
But the migrants profit because they send their small gains
back to India, Guatemala and other countries where families can
live very well on a few dollars per day.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
So the President said no more now.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Foreign truckers are often inexperienced and also illiterate, so pushing
up the death rate on America's roads. While raising profits
for some delivery company in retailers such as Amazon. Industry
publication Freight Waves described a March thirteenth, Texas disaster when
a migrant trucker slammed into the back of a traffic
(25:11):
jam quote a man who has been arrested. As authorities
continued to investigate the cause of a crash that killed
five people on Interstate thirty five in Austin, Texas, authorities
said seventeen vehicles were involved, including a tractor trailer hauling
goods for Amazon, in the accident that happened around eleven
thirty pm in the southbound lanes of I thirty five.

Five people were pronounced dead on the scene, including a
child in an infant Eleven others were taken to the hospitals.
A thirty seven year old, a Dallas based driver of
the tractor trailer, was arrested Friday by the Austin Police
Department in charge of five counts of intoxication manslaughter and
two counts of intoxication assault. The issue has been ignored
(25:53):
by established journalists, such as the staff of The Washington Post,
which by the way, is owned by Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos.

The surplus of drivers.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
Also deflates pressure for high tech innovation and productivity gains
throughout the US supply chain. For example, warehouse companies face
a little pressure to speed up the loading and unloading
of trucks, which forces drivers to waste time in parking lots,
again another example of lack of innovation. So you look
at this and it's pretty clear that this is a
(26:23):
good thing. This is about safer roads and also putting
American workers first.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
And what are the left doing.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
They're saying, oh, it's racist to say you must be
able to read the damn signs on the roadway. By
the way, we're not saying that to be fluid in
a language, but you do have to be able to
read the signs on the roadways. And they're like, no, no, no,
you can't do that. That's racist. That's racism. I tell you,
by guy, that's racism. I'm sorry. This is a good
(26:51):
thing for all Americans. This is what we should be
excited about. This is putting Americans first. Because non systant
truck drivers texting and driving has killed another driver in
a Texas roadway this weekend. Was another post that was
put up by American truckers. If you look at what
they put up on their social media. You should follow them.
(27:11):
America A American Truckers put them in on X and
you can see where they document these crashes. Non sense
in truck driver crashed in Nebraska, he spent I thirty
excuse me, Idi, restop in Nebraska close for semi truck rollover.
They show the picture there it is. They're sounding the
alarm and President Trump is actually listening, whereas the left's like, no, no, no.
We want to lax the rules. We want to undermine
(27:33):
American truck drivers. We want to look the other way
while the rules are being broken.

That's what we do here.

We're good at that because we don't care about Americans.
We want Americans to be last and illegal immigrants to
