Speaker 1 (00:00):
Again, sending every border dress mess or and violator back
to the places from which they came. Biden didn't know
he was alive. We've been hurt badly by this group
of people. He didn't want to do it all over
the place.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
We'll get him out. We'll get him out.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
Speaker 4 (00:19):
Good Thursday morning. Ben Ferguson with you, and these are
the big stories we're covering today on the forty seven
Morning Update. First up, Donald Trump, When you thought things
couldn't get more epic, he comes out announces that the
illegal aliens in this country that the worst among us. Well,
they're going to be taking a little vacation to Guantanamo Bay.
(00:39):
That's right. Up to thirty thousand illegal aliens will be
transferred to gitt MO. Why is he doing it, I'll
explain in just a moment. And draining the swamp apparently
is a lot harder than some people thought it was
gonna be. As the USDA Inspector General refused to leave
her office, escorted out that's right, that's the only way
(00:59):
to get rid of her. After defying the White House's
order and Finally, Donald Trump decides to say, guess what
you want to teach critical race theory? Go ahead and
do it, but you're not gonna get any federal funds.
This shaking up the education world big time. It's the
forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Story number one.
Speaker 4 (01:21):
You just gotta love winning, and all of us should
just take a moment and enjoy the announcement that has
come from Donald Trump, where he said, guess what illegal
aliens you want to stick around in America? Well find
out what's going to happen to you. If we catch
you with a criminal record. There's a very good chance
that thirty thousand of you will end up in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
(01:44):
The President made the announcement at the White House today.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Today I'm also signing an executive order to instruct the
Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to begin preparing the
thirty thousand person migrant facility at Guantanamo Bay. Most people
don't even know about it. We have thirty thousand beds
in Guantanamo to detain the worst criminal illegal aliens threatening
(02:08):
the American people. Some of them are so bad we
don't even trust the countries to hold them because we
don't want them coming back, so we're going to send
them out to Guantanamo. This will double our capacity immediately,
right and tough. That's a tough that's a tough place
to get out of. Today's signings bring us one step
closer to eradicating the scorge of migrant crime in our
(02:29):
communities once and for all.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Now, Donald Trump clearly playing chess while others are playing checkers,
making it clear that this is a moment he wanted
the entire world, especially illegal immigrants, to think about and
to hear. He wanted us to spread among countries where
people are breaking into the US, letting them know now
that the steaks are much higher for being a criminal
(02:52):
legal immigrant in the US. You could end up in
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Now, the White House also making it
clear that this is not just a one off. This
is part of their strategy to combat illegal immigrants in
this nation. In fact, the White House giving me this
information today quote locking up dangerous illegal alien criminals is
(03:14):
priority number one, and that is why Donald Trump signed
a memorandum to detain the most dangerous illegal criminal aliens
in Guantanamo Bay. It directs the Secretary of Defense and
the Secretary of Homeland Security to expand the Migrant Operation
Center at the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay to full capacity
(03:36):
to provide extra attention space for high priority criminal aliens
unlawfully present in the United States of America now. The
White House also wanted it to be made very clear
to all of you that listen into the rest of
the world that keeping America safe is their number one priority.
The memorandum builds on President Trump's previous executive actions to
(03:59):
halt the order invasion, dismantle criminal cartels, and restore national sovereignty.
Since taking office, President Trump has already declared a national
emergency at the southern border, deployed additional personnel to the border,
including members of the Armed Forces and the National Guard,
restarted border wall construction, designated international cartels and other criminal
(04:24):
organizations such as MS thirteen and other groups as foreign
terrorist organizations specifically designated as global terrorists, which allows them
to have many more tools at their disposal to go
after them around the world. Trump has also suspended the
entry of aliens into the US and called for enhanced
(04:45):
vetting and screening of aliens. Required the identification of countries
that warrant a partial or full suspension on the admission
of nationals, and Donald Trump has restarted the detention and
removal of aliens who are in violation of federal law.
This while he also resumed the Migrant Protection Protocols also
(05:07):
known as the Remain in Mexico Order, and the end
of the use of the CBP one app. This is
just some of what Donald Trump has done on border security,
but now making it very clear, in a very blunt
pr move that if you are an a legal immigrant
and you are a criminal, if you want to play
that game of chicken with Donald Trump's administration, he's letting
(05:29):
you know there's a very good chance you're going to lose.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Now. Story number two, Draining.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
The swamp can be pretty difficult, especially when the people
that you're firing refuse to leave their jobs. Well, enter
Phyllis Fong, the former Inspector General of the US Department
of Agriculture, known as the USDA. She was dismissed by
the Trump administration on Friday, January the twenty fourth. Well
(05:54):
guess what she said, I ain't leaving. That's right. The
crazies in Washington, they'll do anything to keep their power.
And despite her termination, Fong decided to inform her colleagues
of her intention to continue working, citing concerns over the
legality of the abrupt dismissal. She referenced the Counsel of
the Inspector Generals on Integrity and Efficiency stance that such
(06:18):
a termination notice did not comply with legal requirements and
were therefore ineffective. Fast forward to Monday, reports emerged that
Fong was escorted out of her office by security officials
after refusing to comply with her termination. Now you may
ask yourself, well, why was she let go? Well, Fong
(06:38):
had served as the USDA's Inspector General for twenty two years.
She was appointed by President George W. Bush and her
role encompass overseeing audits, investigations, and other oversight activities related
to the USDA's programs and operations. Well, the Senate figured
it out in fact center erst during a confirmation here,
(07:00):
he brought up the important point that at the USDA, well,
no one has been showing up for work at all.
Take a listen to this.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
I know that we must address some of the work
policies for federal employees at the Department of Agriculture as
you know, the GAO reported USDA's headquarters has a space
utilization rate at just eleven percent. Eleven percent. I've even
received whistle blower letters from employees describing the building as
(07:30):
a ghost town. So last year I addressed this exact
issue with the Secretary, Tom Vilsack, and was met with
very strong opposition. Rather than provide any evidence to dispute
the GAO's numbers, and even after repeatedly following up with
his staff, he refused to give me specific in office
(07:52):
numbers or building utilization data. In start contrast, President Trump
acted immediately to get our federal workforce back to actually
working for the American people.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Eleven percent, that's it of the USDA's headquarter space is
in use. It is a ghost town. And as you
could hear, they are the center saying we got to
get rid of the people that aren't doing their jobs.
Maybe that's the reason why this woman was fired in
the first place. And let this be a lesson everybody
else in Washington. Show up for your job. The American
(08:27):
people are paying your salaries, and President Trump demands you
do your work in an office.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
And lastly, story number three.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Another major campaign promise from Donald Trump was that he
was going to get our education system back to the
basics and out of the hands of the radicals. Well,
President Donald Trump is going scorched earth on the radical
lefts grip over education and lawlessness, whether it is elementary, middle,
high school, or the college level. He did so today
(08:56):
through an executive order. School choices also getting prior defunding
for the first time ever, and schools that are pushing
CRT and gender ideology will no longer be receiving federal funds. Also,
Prohama students VISA holders, well you can expect deportations for them.
(09:16):
The message is clear. America's future will not be shaped
by radical indoctrination or foreign agitators. And Donald Trump is
paying off on this clearly now. This executive order to
defund schools that teach gender ideology and critical race theory
was one that was well thought out. Now the order
will give the Department of Education ninety days to create
(09:40):
a plan about how to weed out CRT, critical race theory,
and radical gender ideology instruction in K through twelve schools now,
according to White House memo, Trump notably promised on the
campaign trail to sign an order defunding schools that teach
critical race theory, transgender inc sanity, and other inappropriate, radical,
(10:03):
sexual or political content quote unquote. The White House memo
also states that the order will direct the Attorney General
to work with state attorney generals and district attorneys to
quote file actions against teachers and school officials who sexually
exploit minors or practice medicine without a license. Through social
(10:25):
transition practices, something the left has been teaching. Now, critical
race theory has now been pretty incredible if you look
how the left has implemented it. They put it into
virtually all of our institutions, our government, our economy, our culture,
and they're all based on a radical hierarchy with wide
(10:46):
individuals on top and black individuals at the bottom. Even
things that look race neutral are on closer inspection racists.
According to this doctrine, CRT was the invention of a
group of radical lefts wing intellectuals known as the Frankfurt School.
They developed it to achieve what they saw as a
(11:07):
cultural change, a change that looks a lot like well,
what Marxism is and what it could not achieve politically. Now,
if you will move to gender ideology, what is that well,
simply put, is the false belief that one can become
a different sex than what they were born. And colleges
(11:27):
and high schools and elementary schools are indoctrinating anyone who
will listen. President Trump says he will sign the Executive
Order to create a National Commission to promote Patriotic Education
instead of the radical lefts CRT.
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Today.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I'm also pleased to announce that I will soon sign
an executive order establishing a National Commission to promote Patriotic Education.
It will be called the seventeen seventy six Commission.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
It will encourage our educators to teach our children about
the miracle of American history and make plans to honor
the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of our founding.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Think of that two hundred and fifty years.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
It's amazing the difference between the Democratic Party and what
they were doing with our kids' minds and what Donald
Trump is doing right now. God bless Trump for doing this,
signing this executive order. And finally, some sad news, plane
is crashed into the Potomac River near Reagan Airport in Washington,
d C. What we know at this moment is we're
(12:35):
recording this that it was a regional jet flying from Wichita, Kansas.
It crashed into a military helicopter. We have also been
told that this was an American Airlines flight carrying at
least sixty passengers and there are many casualties. We will
keep you up to date on this story as well.
