Speaker 1 (00:04):
As a part of under Media's commitment to celebrating the
people in businesses shiping our regional economy. We are thrilled
to welcome the leader from Richie Law Firm, Brian Richie.
Thank you so much for joining us today.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Thank you for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
So we'll kind of kick things off with your firm's mission, right, So,
what does Richie Law stand for? What drives the work
that you guys do.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
So our mission is a couple of things. One is
we want to take care of our community. We want
to make our community safe, we want to make our
community better, and we want to focus on what's in
the best interests of our clients.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
I mean, you guys are obviously masters at what you do.
What are you most proud of when you look at
what Richie Law Firm has accomplished.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I'm most proud of our initiatives in the community, which,
as you know, in both the Raleigh market and the
Greenville market, we give away one thousand dollars each month
to a nonprofit that's doing good in the community. And
then our new initiative, which is the Richie Rescue in
the Park has evolved. Initially, we were we were sponsoring

(01:01):
a dog or a cat each week, and we would
pay a portion of the adoption fee, and we decided,
how can we make that bigger? So we're going to
have Richie and the Rescue to the Park, which is
going to take place on September thirteenth from eleven to three,
where we're going to try to find forever homes for
all these animals that need homes.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, I love that. I think Richie Rescues in the
Park is such an amazing event and it's free to
come in as well, free admission, which is so amazing
right in downtown Raleigh Dorothiadic's Park. This is I think
one of the biggest things about Richie Rays like Richie
log gives back and that's what's so amazing about this event.
And everybody in Raleigh owns a pet right or they
want to own a pet, So I think this is
such an amazing thing to bring home to Raleigh less

(01:41):
than a month away. So it's coming up. What would
make Richie Rescues in the Park a success in your eyes?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
In my eyes, every cat and dog that participates finds
a forever home, and that's going to let these animals
get a place where they're in a love and family,
and these families to get the love and an all.
I'm a dog person and my dog is everything, So
I want other people to experience that, and I want
these animals to get it, get a good place.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
To live, absolutely, especially all the senior animals. I don't
I love. I love the old ones, right, they deserve
love to I literally have Gooseum. It's going to be
an amazing event, and I think it's going to be
a success exactly as you described. So we should make
sure that everybody swings by to support that. We will
shift gears a little bit, right. So what personal philosophies
or convictions are really guiding you in life and in business?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Always put the client first. Always put the client's interest
in front of everything from a business perspective. If you
do that, everything else will take care of itself. There's
no better compliment than when clients past clients tell their friends,
their family people that they know when they need help
to call us. Another another personal conviction for the business

(02:49):
aspect deals with the community. And you know, we have
grown into one of the largest personal injury law firms
in the state. But there's only one reason why. That's happened,
and that's because of the community. The community has supported us.
So our way of giving back is to support the
community through the five oh one CE charities that we
donate to each month. We want to make sure these

(03:12):
animals fine forever home. So as long as the community
is helping us and we're helping the community back, we
have this great relationship and we're going to continue to
give as long as we're fortunate enough to do so.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Yeah. Absolutely, I love that you guys are so community focused.
That's what makes you guys successful. Right. Is there anybody
who inspires you, whether in your career or personally?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Personally, I would say my parents. My dad, you know,
worked in a factory for about fifty years. He's the
hardest working person that I've ever met. And basically, if
you go out there and you work hard and you
do what you're supposed to do, then success is going
to come. And that's kind of where I've taken a
lot of my inspiration from. Was, you know, no matter

(03:52):
what's going on, you get up, you outperform everybody, and
you work hard and things are going to result from that.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Absolutely, it's always good advice to give. Well. Lastly, you know,
Richie and the Rescues in the Park is going to
be the big thing, right, That's the big event this year.
Everybody's going to come out, everybody's going to adopt a pet.
Every pet is going to have a home. It's going
to be good. Are there any other charitable efforts or
nonprofits that you or Richie Law Firm are involved with?

Speaker 2 (04:13):
So, the main nonprofits that we're involved in are the
monthly giveaways that we do in Raleigh in Greenville and
that's where a five oh one c can apply and
they can be our we call it Eastern NCCRES in
the Greenville market and trying to nce cares in the
Raleigh market, and that's where we'll sponsor that organization, give

(04:35):
them a thousand dollars each month. We're going to have
our staff and our team members are going to go
a lot of times and volunteer in those organizations. We're
going to raise awareness so then they can raise money
to help out their organization even further. A lot of
these organizations I had never even heard of until we
sponsored them, and then I'm like, Wow, there's so many

(04:56):
things that are going on in this community, and there's
so many people that are doing good things, and let's
highlight them and meet other people aware of the services
and the resources that they have.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah. Absolutely, there's one thing about the Carolinas. We're going
to show up for Carolina right, Definitely. Thank you so
much for sharing your story and your passion with us.
It is clear that Ritchie Law Firm is making a
meaningful impact in the Triangle and beyond across all of
the Carolinas. So thank you so much for your time today.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Thank you for having me
