Speaker 1 (00:00):
Craigway alongside the producer Cameron Parker, and here I'm ready
to ask the burning question of the day. And the
only reason I'm ready to ask this as the burning
question of the day is because of the avalanche of
comments on social media through the first three games of

(00:22):
the season that said, long words haven't proven anything yet
because they haven't beaten anybody. They haven't beaten anybody at all.
They've all been pushovers. Blah blah blah. And a lot
of them were still willing to say the same thing
after the win over uelman Row, they haven't beaten anybody.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Did anybody see Michigan USC Saturday?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Mmm?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Did you see that? It's funny?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Had heard any of those people saying Michigan's a pushover?
Say one word? After Michigan knocked off USC on Saturday?
Not one word? Nobody said boo about it, other than
the Texas played pushovers. The don play well, clearly then
you didn't see the Michigan USC game. So, and if

(01:06):
you're going to try to do transit of property and say,
well USC in any good, how long are you going
to play that game? Texas beat the number ten team
in the country on their field, Michigan, who then beat
the number eleven team in the country USC on that
same field in ann Arbor. So when when do you

(01:27):
decide to I understand, you know, until they probably play Georgia.
People say the same thing. You know, Oklahoma loses to Tennessee.
Tennessee was good and moved up. Oklahoma's defense played well,
their offense struggled, the defense played well.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
So does that.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Mean that if the long Worns win this week over
Mississippi State, then after the bye week they beat Oklahoma,
everybody will say, well, they still didn't play anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oklahoma showed that they're any good, you know. Adult.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
There's also the double standard of folks who were saying
for two or three years, Wadell Texas gets in the SEC,
they'll see, they'll see how tough it is, and then
turn around and say, Texas kind of easy schedule this
year in the SEC. I thought the SEC was tough.
It's a grind weekend week out, and I do believe
it is, by the way, So can't have it both ways.

(02:23):
It's either a grind every weekend, weekend week out, or
or it's not a tough schedule.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
You know.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
However, you can't have it both ways off of that.
So anyway, those are the burning questions of the day.
And the thing is Michigan right now. I mean it's
just the eight people, but they would be a college
football playoff team. So Texas technically already has a win
against a college football playoff opponent. So people are going
to create.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Their own narratives.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Greg, I mean, you know that long enough, But hey,
they play Texas obviously the toughest conference in college football.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
You're looking at the top six.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Only one team is outside the SEC and that is
Ohio date and we with Oklahoma and Georgia on the schedule,
and in a couple of weeks, you know, we'll find out.
We'll find out. So sure the I always find the
I haven't played anybody yet.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
People are some of the most annoying, annoying fans out.
I'm just saying, it can't be both ways. And if
you say that Michigan wasn't any good, I think I
saw something last week. Somebody said that Houston was better
in Michigan. Come on, it was an Oklahoma fan because
Houston had played them tough. Oh, they're just wanting to
make himself feel better after winning sixteen to twelve. Yeah, yeah, right,

(03:33):
and then and then Houston got Houston was able to
throttle Rice and then got blown out by Cincinnati last Saturday. Yeah,
so again, playing transitive property really doesn't help.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
It just doesn't help. So anyway you can take it.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
There was some crazy stuff that but in a week
Baylor Colorado Wendy, Yeah, you feel for Baylor had had
Colorad done.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
They knocked the ball away. All they to do is
it one more time.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
But Hunter comes back, makes a great catch off the
pass from Sanders. They go into overtime. Colorado scores right
out of the gate and looks like Bays was going
to score with the fumble with the ball crossing the
plane of the goal line, but definitely as replay showed,
not in possession.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
As it went across the plane of the goal line.
That was a difference in the in the game.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
People give Sanders a lot of crap as a head coach,
and I understand you may not like the media circus
that is Colorado football, but I'll tell you what, Travis
Hunter and Shador Sanders two of the most fun funnest
people to watch play college football on Saturdays. Absolutely, They're
just there's so much fun to watch now after.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
The game Saturday night, I know you were down in
the locker room and hearing from long worn players and.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Things like that.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Did you, at least on the highlights see the punt
return in the BYU.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I didnt three yarder.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
For those who did not see this, this punt return
and and it did incidentally earn Big twelve Special Teams
Player of the Week honors.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'm trying to pull it up right.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Here, honors after nearly was a fumble that would have
put put them inside their opponent's ten.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, five yard line. It's one of those punt returns.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Where you're just like, oh no, oh no, oh no, okay,
oh yes, yes, go go. That's one one of those
plays where it goes from this is going to be
disaster to how in the world did we just score
a touchdown?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah? Yeah, exactly, so okay.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
The player who did it was Parker Kingston was the
Special Teams Player of the Week.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Good name, so Parker. Yeah, So here's it.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Actually ultimately was ruled ninety yards on the telecast, they
said ninety three. But if you didn't see it, he
fielded it over his shoulder, and I guess they called
it from the ten yard line, but he retreated all
the way back I think inside the five, and then
went all the way across the field laterally and then
turned up feel by the sideline and picked up some

(06:15):
key blocks and went all the way for a touchdown.
And so he runs back all the way for a touchdown.
Fans are going crazy, and then of course there's sideline
shot of him, after sideline shot of him, after sideline
shot of him, and then there's a sideline and shot
of him throwing up his gatorade. Oh I didn't see that.
Oh it was fire hose projectile. Just wow, gatorade. So yeah,

(06:41):
that was there. So anyway, just something to look at
it all.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Right.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Up next, we're gonna hear more from Loghorn's head coach,
