Thirteen hundred of the Zone presents a special NFL Draft
show live from Twin Peaks and Round Rock. Here's your hosts,
Craig Way, Mike Harge, Mark Henry, and Cameron and Parker.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
We opened our.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Number three of our NFL Draft Day preview show from
Twin Peaks Aaron Round Rockeye thirty five. It Lewish a Boulevard, Craigway,
My Cardball Hargs, Mark Henry and also Cameron Parker. Here
we opened it with we got some trade news or

(00:38):
did you guys? By the way, see ESPN did the
special on the evolution of the little Draft chime.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Dude, No no, no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
The history of it.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
The first in case you're wondering, the first time it
was ever used was on the eighth pick in the
first round in the two thousand and six draft because
they misfired and didn't do it for verse seven. But
they got a composer to come to come up with
that little boom boom that little time that they used
announced become a universal. NBA uses it and w NBA

(01:12):
used it this year for the first time. But uh,
that's the little chime that goes off. W Ever, there's
a pick ready to go. But Cameron Parker, you have
the tails on a trade, albeit not a gigantic swap.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Would you consider where these picks are.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Happened well before that, Craig, A little bit more trivia
on that. Do you know who the player was picked
before the draft chimes? Star is the seventh pick in
that draft? Six was the last time there was an
NFL player draft without having the draft chime leading in.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
No, this Young, no clue. He was the first overall,
second overall pick.

Speaker 6 (01:48):
I think.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
So, but it was that same draft Reggie Bush. No,
but he was a teammate Evince Young. Michael Griffin, No,
first name is right.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Michael Huh? Yeah, with the Oakland Raiders.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
He was the last one.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
He was the last.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
He was the last first round pick that the chime
did not go. And it was by accident. It was
supposed to be ready to fly on the first one
and it didn't, and so it didn't start to the eighth.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
And who was the I don't know that. I don't know,
but I do know.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Michael Huff it's a very recognizable name.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Two thousand and six. Yeah, it wasn't Matt Lioner, was
it No, it wasn't Fince Young either, no.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Uh, you know, but but it's a record that he
was a defensive back played for the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
It was the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo Bills Dante Whittner.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Ye, he was the one.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
He was the first one for whom the draftiot. Yes, yeah, yes,
and then and then drafted by the Bills. All right,
so uh of less no computer impact of less he
did it without the computer less of less impact was
the deal the Houston Jacksons had maybe the Cleveland Browns

(03:01):
certainly less of a deal than Deshaun Watson going from
Houston to Cleveland, but a deal nevertheless came.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah. So Ian Rappaport just breaking this on Twitter. The Texans.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
Houston Texans have traded their twenty twenty five fifth round pick,
you know, twenty twenty seven fifth round picks the Cleveland
Browns for two sixth rounders in this year's draft and
a seventh rounder. So kind of looking at this, guys,
So giving up two late round draft picks won this
year and won the draft in two years for three late, late,

(03:35):
late picks from the Browns for this year tells me
that the Houston Texans, who we've heard before have had
a lot of interest in trading up in this draft
to select possibly Calvin Banks maybe thinking about moving up
in this draft and then gonna have to give up
some considerable assets, trying to get some assets back to
help fill the voids.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
So I'm curious, are you saying.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
To offer a big fruit basketfull picks?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
I think sometimes usually before there's a big trade, there's
always a smaller trade, uh that comes before, you know,
kind of like with a what is it with tsunamis
there's a little small.

Speaker 7 (04:15):
But also on another train of thought, you can look
at it like this. You know that Cleveland's picks are
going to be at the top of the round, So
switching those other picks to this year, then you get
like the first or second pick in which of around
it is. So, uh, that's that's two picks that you

(04:35):
get in the first round.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
Yeah, so giving up they traded away two picks that
got back three picks. I don't know, guys, at your hearts,
I feel like Houston could be making making a big
move here in the first round tonight.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Well if they are, and I'm hopeful that they do,
just because I believe that that pick would be one
Kelvin Banks. Kelvin Banks, a Houston kid. They gave up
a lot of guys to UH during the offseason.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
They obviously know. We had John McClain.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
On this week and he was talking about the fact
that they are missing a lot of people on that
offensive line. Shout out to our guy Smacky who just
rolled in. But I'm looking at this as a huge
move for them.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
Yeah, So they had the twenty fifth pick and there's
about well, there's really only three good tackles in this draft.
You got wol Campbell who is going to New England
at four, Kelvin Banks, who's probably gonna go to the Raiders.
So that leaves the tackle from Missouri, which is.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
What is it our Olma Mette or something like that,
Arman Mimbo.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
I believe him, but he's probably gonna go in in
the mid teens. So if you're looking at a tackle
and the Texans do need help at the tackle position,
the only way you're gonna really gonna get it if
you want one of the the for sure Day one
starters guys, you're gonna have to move up in this trade.
So I'm curious if that trade with the Browns is
an indicator that the Houston Texans might be on the

(05:59):
look out for moving up in this draft and taking
either Membo or possibly even Kelvin Banks. Keeping Kelvin in
the lone.

Speaker 7 (06:06):
Star state, it doesn't make sense to go after Kevin Banks,
a Houston guy. He played at the University of Texas. Like,
there's too many positives and too many pluses for selling
tickets because we're also looking at this as entertainment business too, right, right,
So like, now you got a guy that can draw

(06:26):
and as in pro wrestling terms, we say put butts
in seats, And I think that Kevin Banks is a
guy that would definitely do that well.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
And I think folks would look for him and say,
that's that's the guy who makes a big difference for
you if you could do that, because I think he
could be a fabulous difference maker. In addition to the
fact Mark Henry that he is a world class sauce taster.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Barbiecae ool really now.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
They had him on the NFL network during the combine
doing it tasting all these different barbecue sauces. Whereas you
are going through world eating championships and you're you're uh
as a judge on that.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Maybe get Calvit involved with that. I mather ether talk
to him about that.

Speaker 7 (07:09):
That's that'd be interesting to do, just to sit down
and ask him if you have.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Your question reached out to his people have Yeah, there
you go.

Speaker 7 (07:17):
Arg Also on the on the flip side of the note,
another advantage to drafting the Kevin Banks is their quarterback
got sacked the second most amount in the NFL last year.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Yeah, he got sacked.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
I forgot the number now because you know, I'm no,
I don't have my computer out.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Like you guys. But I to get sacked the second.

Speaker 7 (07:41):
And most amount of times means that you need to
upgrade your offensive line.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Three point four sacks allowed per game, well three a game.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Well.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
The other part of it is they saw they got
rid of everybody. They pretty much got rid of their
entire offensive line. When you look at Kenyan Green, you
look at Laramie tonks On and all the guys that
have been uh shipped off. So they definitely have to
rebuild that offensive line. So it only makes sense that
if they do, and it's not Kelvin Banks, it will

(08:09):
be somebody else that they go out and get to
protect that backside.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
Now, I wonder because there's been a lot of takes
that Kelvin Banks can't play tackle in the NFL, he
has to play cards. Steve Sarkasion, you said it was
that earlier this week one day, Like what are you
guys talking about? He played tackle and now the Georgia
game was tough on tape, but it was tough on everybody.
But you know, Calvin Banks, I think between the other

(08:37):
two tackles, he went against first round in second round
defensive edges every single week this season, starting with with Michigan.
I mean Kenneth Grant and who is Maason Graham? They're
going to be first second round picks. And that was
the first game of the season, not to mention all
the other teams that he went through.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
It it was the first game of the season, and
every he knew from the jump who was the most
dominant lineman on the field, and it was Banks. Banks
used those guys like Clinicx.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Like there was Graham.

Speaker 7 (09:11):
All of them got shoved down into the into a
pile and Texas ran wild on Michigan.

Speaker 8 (09:18):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
And by the way, my wife Flendon reminds me, Calvin
not only is an outstanding sauce judge.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
He's a really good cook. Oh yeah, he's becoming my
favorite right now. I figured that might be okay.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
Sorry.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
On his Instagram is famous for tasting taste testing barbecue,
too barbar a little serious.

Speaker 7 (09:36):
I'm gonna have to We're gonna have to get Instagram
give his people. So I wonder if he did hot Ones?
Did he do hot Ones?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Hot?

Speaker 6 (09:43):
So?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
I did hot Ones? I got up to that. That's
the show. He didn't do the show hot Ones. Okay,
he's not He hasn't done that yet. He's doing his old.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
And he's really really good as cultured palette. Uh up next, Uh,
we're gonna hear more input just outside the Ford knuckle
ahead you're listening to right now, we'll have some more
expert opinion on this upcoming NFL Draft as we continue
to come your way from here at Twin Peaks, I'm
thirty five Lewis and a boulevard. Here in Round Rock,

(10:14):
I'm thirteen hundred the Zone.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Welcome back to our special NFL Draft show live from
Twin Peaks and Round Rock. Here's your hosts, Craig Way,
My Cards, Mark Henry, and Cameron Parker.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
Back here on this Thursday afternoon, getting you ready for
the National Football League Draft that comes your way. First
picks coming right out about seven.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
How long do you.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Think the the Titans will take before out of there?
A lot of ten minutes before announcing Cam Morty's.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Or so much.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
They're gonna take eight and a half minutes. You know
why because the NFL probably told them take as much
time because we need to sell airtime. Yeah, us to
just take it and draw it all up that way
everybody can do the presentation and everything. So I think
it's gonna be up at least up until eight minutes.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Well, and if and if what what Cam said is true,
if the Giants are really making a serious push, maybe
there's still conversations going on.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
You know, I heard last year, I forget you had
the first overall pick. Who was number one last year?
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Cago, Yeah, we were, we were real good time. Williams.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
Yeah, you know when they had the first pick, I
think they used up all ten minutes, right, I don't
know it was Rich eisen or whoever. It was like,
it was like, yeah, you know, they want to use
these ten minutes to you know, celebrate the process.

Speaker 9 (11:35):
Like, celebrate being a crappy team, Like, why would you
want to be number one pick? That tells you how
bad of an organization you've been the last couple years.
I don't want to get that sucker in and get
it over with. Come on, I want you want to
win more games next season. Celebrate tell us how you
really feel.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Cam.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
I appreciate that because it is the truth. I don't
understand why we have to wait that long. Just like
the w NBA Draft the other night, they were waiting
a long time, and I'm like, it's like it's Page
Becker's we all know that. Yeah, we all know what
we're doing.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Let's just get this moving on to the next one.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Yeah, we'll move it on from there. Okay, speaking of
moving it forward, you had another guest on the morning
kickoff with a lot of draft knowledge setting up this
year's NFL draft.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Yeah, he just happened to be in Green Bay. It
was our guy, Q Myers, who used to be in Waco.
You've known Q for a long time, absolutely, and done
a really great job of advancing his career.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
What is title of his showing Waco your boy Q?

Speaker 4 (12:29):
That's his that's his social that's his hand on on
social media is your boy Q two, five four and
he's representing five four, and so we got a chance
to talk with him, and he is very, very fond
of these Texas Longhorns. As you look at this Texas
Longhorned football team and the players that have really made

(12:50):
some noise, which one would you see being fit for
you guys. Maybe in one of those second or third
round picks.

Speaker 10 (12:59):
I'll tell you right now, man, I'll look at one
in the first round. It might be Joe Barron, the
cornerback man. This dude, as you know, I mean, that's
a versatile man. I mean he could do just about anything.
And remember the Raiders now they have Pete Carroll as
their head coach, so he's a defensive minded dude. The
Raiders secondary is pretty suspect right now. They let a
couple guys go and they have a lot of use

(13:19):
there that hasn't been proven. But this guy, what he
did in Texas, he's been proven right with the ball production,
with being able to play multiple positions. I could definitely
see him being a guy that Pete Carroll will look at,
especially if ashiw Gent he's not available at number six,
which there's a lot of indications that maybe he won't
be Jacksonville will take him at number five. I can
see the Raiders maybe even trying to trade back a
couple of spots and say number nine, or even if

(13:41):
they stick and pick say, hey, you know what, this
is the best defensive player right there. I think it's
going to go down to him or will Johnson one
of the two corners coming off the board first. But
I wouldn't be surprised if Baron with the guy. He's healthy,
he's productive, and you can play all over the field.
I think that's a win win win. Check all the
boxes of Pete Carroll.

Speaker 7 (13:56):
Well, I got a couple of things for you. One,
I want your wild card, Like, what is your wild card?

Speaker 8 (14:01):
Pick?

Speaker 7 (14:02):
Everything else went wrong? All the player that you wanted
was gone.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
This is who we're going with? Are to trade? Then
you see a trade on the horizon to trade down?

Speaker 10 (14:15):
Yeah, I can see a trade.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I really can.

Speaker 10 (14:17):
And Ben reports that you know, the Raiders in particular
aren't in love with everyone at the top of the board,
including the ash and Gent and look, I don't know
how much of that is smoke, misurrection, whatever the case
may be. To day before the draft, so you know
how that goes.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
I can see them trading back.

Speaker 10 (14:31):
I can also see him going with an offensive lineman
like an armand Membo out of Missouri. And that's not
a sexy pick. That's not the one that the fan
base is going to go run and get the jersey
printed up and be there and be excited about it.
But it can be a smart pick. It could be
the guy that can hold it down for the next
ten years. True right tackle at Missouri, and the Raiders
need a right tackle. So I can definitely see them
have an interest in an armand Membu and he'd be

(14:52):
in the pick, and the fan base will probably be upset,
but you know, years later and he's still there holding
it down, they'll be like, you know what, that was
a really good.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Pick back at twenty twenty five.

Speaker 8 (15:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
It always keeps people off balance when you start to
look at those types of picks. But Q, I wanted
to ask you this because you know as well as
I do that with the coaching change Pete Carroll coming in,
they go out, they get Geno Smith. If Geno Smith
was not the starting quarterback, would should Dor Sanders be

(15:21):
on the board for the La excuse me, the Las
Vegas Raiders or is he still on the board for
the Raiders if that pick comes.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
I mean, he's on my board still.

Speaker 10 (15:34):
I'll tell you that I've been a guy that's been
talking about him for a while. I mean him and
Dion and Travis Hunder they made Colorado must watch football.
Every single Saturday, Friday, Thursday, whatever day it was, we
were watching Colorado football.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
I think he's the hell of a quarterback.

Speaker 10 (15:49):
I know there's a lot of different reports out saying
he's just that and the third A lot.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Of that had to do with his last name. A
lot of that has.

Speaker 10 (15:54):
To do with his big smile, is confidence, and a
lot more that goes with that, as you know. But
I think he's a really good quarterback. And even with
Gino Smith in the mix, if he's there at six,
I would definitely heavily consider him. I know that the
fan base will tell me, yeah, but he can't help
you win right now, That's okay, Right, You've had a
quarterback Carrotselca. Derek Carr was like, go a couple of
years ago. You've gone from Jimmy g You've gone to

(16:15):
Brian Hoyer.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
You've had Gardner.

Speaker 10 (16:18):
Minshew, you've had Aidan O'Connell, you had Desmond Ritter. I mean, look,
that's five quarterbacks in like two years. I mean you
would have to make some kind of decision of what
you're gonna do for the long term. Not to mention,
he'd be a guy that would have Allegiance Stadium all
the way blacked out with nothing.

Speaker 11 (16:32):
But Sanders jerseys instead of having every other fan base.

Speaker 10 (16:35):
In the building representing you know what I mean, Like
that would get something that would get the fan base
juice up too.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
So I like him at six. If he's there.

Speaker 10 (16:43):
Most of the people don't agree with me, that's fine.
I'm okay. I don't mind living on that island by myself.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
But that's that's where I would have him.

Speaker 10 (16:49):
So smarter people than me tell me that he's not
on the board because of the addition a Geno Smith.
But they say Jaylen Milrow, the quarterback out of Alabama,
if he's available in round two, would be on the
Raiders' radar. So you figure it out, well, if.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
You have a quarterback already, and why not Kelvin Banks.
Kevin Banks isom the invisible man. All of a sudden, like,
I don't know what happened. Uh, this guy went from
being a top ten pick to.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
We don't know who he is.

Speaker 10 (17:21):
No, it's funny that you mentioned that, and I mentioned
that the MIC a couple of weeks ago. I mean,
he was the number one tackle in this class for
the longest and then all of a sudden everyone said, oh,
he's slid, he's slid. He's on like the third guys,
you know, go from Campbell to Membo to then Banks.
And I was like, wait, what did he do exactly?
And now it's funny and maybe it's just a timing thing.
Now all of a sudden everyone's saying, oh, he's researching,

(17:42):
And I'm thinking there was no games play, Like how
is he researching? Like what did he do that all
of a sudden has made it reverse course?

Speaker 11 (17:49):
But no, you're absolutely right.

Speaker 10 (17:50):
I'm glad you do Banks in there. He's a possibility.
Not to mention he has ties with Pete Carroll because
of Theeve Sarcusian Like Steve Starkusian and Pete Carroll are
tight with each other. So well that's why Quinn yours
when he goes in with visits, they're you know, they're
really tight, Like I wouldn't be surprised to see multiple
Longhorns go to the Raiders and Banks could definitely be
one of them. And again, he'll fill a void and

(18:10):
he'll he can end up being a left tackle. Right now,
the Raiders have a left tackle situation where they're current
one doesn't have any guaranteed money on his deal.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
He's not going to.

Speaker 10 (18:18):
Voluntary workouts, which is just voluntary. But you kind of
see the writing on the wall. He's twenty nine years old.
Maybe there's going to be a change to the guard
at some point. Banks of the hell of a tackle man.
I could definitely see him being in the mix.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Yeah, I'm glad that. I'm glad that that conversation has
continued to roll. You and I have had that multiple times,
Like this dude has nullified any superstar that has gone
up against him and handled his business as well. The
Raider Nation is obviously looking to make a splash and
try to turn some things around.

Speaker 8 (18:50):
I e.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
Pete Carroll coming in and Geno Smith. Where are some
of the major needs of the Raiders for them to
have success.

Speaker 10 (19:00):
Well, I mean they need to get a number one
wide receiver. They have Rock Bauers, who's a phenomenal tight end,
but he's literally a tight end. So I mean they
do need to get a number one wide receiver. I
would say, I'm Matthew gold and another Texas Longhorn could
be in the mix there. I mean, I think he
could be the first wide receiver taking off the board,
even though everyone's talking about Ted Roll McMillan from Arizona.
I like Golden and that speed more and that fits

(19:20):
the Raiders mantra right speed hill, that's what they're all about.
So he would be a guy that would fit that mold.
They do need the offensive line. They need a running back,
whether that's gent Early or that's another running back. The
good thing is there's plenty of running backs in this draft,
so they can go ahead and get a guy there.
The cornerback room needs to be addressed. That's why I
mentioned Barron earlier. I mean everything, I'm mentioning, man, they

(19:42):
need right linebacker help, they need Jesus man, they.

Speaker 11 (19:46):
Need a lot right There's a lot of talent that.

Speaker 10 (19:48):
They need to add to this roster, and it's not
going to all happen in one draft.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I get it.

Speaker 10 (19:52):
They're gonna make picks that aren't going to be the
best pick and they're just not gonna hit. But they
need to start just stacking talented dudes. They need to
started getting a rotter together full of talent. They've missed
so many drafts in the past and so it's really
put them behind the eight ball. So now Pete Carroll,
he's been.

Speaker 6 (20:07):
There, done that.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
He kind of knows what he's looking for.

Speaker 10 (20:09):
John spi Tech he hasn't, but he's been in that
Tampa Bay system. He's been the assistant GM. So they
you can go back and look at their history of
their draft. They've done really well. So I think this
is a nice one to two punts between the two guys.
Now they got to go out there and execute and
start tomorrow.

Speaker 7 (20:22):
That men say, you mean, Jesus can't hit a fastball,
Come on, man.

Speaker 10 (20:30):
Base, Jesus cast a base.

Speaker 11 (20:33):
You're doing is.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Q I ask you to? You know, you look at
what's going on. You used to be in central Texas.
You were prominent in Waco. Just a little bit north
to Waco is Dallas, And obviously the Cowboys are always
in the middle of the conversation. Sometimes they have great drafts.
I mean they have done some really good things in
the draft. It's just the free agent market that they've

(21:01):
had a little bit of trouble.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
What do you think the Cowboys need to.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
Do to kind of I mean, don't say fire Jaar
or we know that the crypt But what were you
need to see from the Cowboys to know that they
are quote unquote.

Speaker 11 (21:15):
Oh Leen, Well, you know it's funny, man.

Speaker 10 (21:19):
Because they do have really good drafts. I got to
give Will McClay so much credit to him and that
staff that they do. They do a really good job.
It's just everything after that is always a big question.
But they obviously need to address the running back position.
I know Jentt was the guy at one stage of
the game was marked to them at number twelve, and
now that he sound like he's going to be there
available at number six, So good luck with that unless

(21:40):
they make a trade. But again, a really good deep
running back class, so they need to address that. I mean,
go on, I always say, man, you don't want to
look for your ex you want to look for your next.
So when they made the move going back to Zeke Elliott,
I thought.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
What are we doing?

Speaker 10 (21:51):
You just got rid of them.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Now you're bringing them back. It's like, what are we doing?

Speaker 10 (21:55):
Like, hey, man, I'm comfortable with this guy, Let's bring
him back. There's a reason why you moved on from him,
so we all knew that was a bad decision. So
they've got to address the running back position.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
I would think that.

Speaker 10 (22:04):
They need a couple more guys on the offensive line.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
I think the trenches are always an area where they're.

Speaker 10 (22:08):
Able to draft, and they do a really good job
with that, So we'll see them do that again. They
just need to continue to stack players. Man, can it
get someone across the cde Lamb that could be a
difference maker?

Speaker 6 (22:18):
Right?

Speaker 10 (22:18):
Can they get a guy that maybe takes the top
off the defense and just something that helps free up
CD a little bit so all the eyes aren't on
him at all times. So I think as long as
they go and get there, continue to build the team
through the draft the way that they do through Will
McClain company, I think they have a good opportunity. It's
just after that, man, Like, what is Sotenheimer gonna do?
Is he gonna be a really good coach? Is that

(22:38):
gonna be a healthy I mean you know what I mean?
Like they have the tools they have the right ingredients.
But it's like me, I can't cook. So you can
throw all these great things in front of.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Me, and I still ain't gonna make a good meal.

Speaker 10 (22:48):
I'm still going to take out to dinner and be like,
you know what, forget this, let's just go out to
get some d Let's go.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
So there's as we said, your boy c that's right.

Speaker 6 (22:59):
Great.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah, it's good to hear him. And his star has
been on the rise, so that's pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
All right.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
So there is some more draft input. We haven't talked
much a little bit, but not much about where we
think the slot will be for one Quinn viewers. And
when we get to that coming up, we need a
break when then we will continue from here Twin Peaks

(23:29):
in Round Rock I thirty five at Lewis Henna, Bulevard,
come on out as Heart's just take advantage at pre
ninety nine.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
But light specials baby, get up here Twin Peaks. As
you said, I thirty five Louis Henna, you will have
a great time.

Speaker 6 (23:43):
We're here.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
Come and hang out with us in the back and
ask us your draft questions.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yeah, we're we're open for that as well.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
This is thirteen under the Zone.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Welcome back to our special NFL Draft show live from
Twin Peaks and Round Rock. Here's your hosts, Craig Way,
My Cards, Mark Henray and Camrack Parker.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
Be careful if you drive them out there. Noticee weather's
getting a little bit interesting, Wendy, just a little bit
a dark cloud or two in the area, So be
careful out there.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Hey, listen, you need to stop off. This is your place.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
You can stop here Twin Peaks, I thirty five, Lewis
and Boulevard here and Round Rock.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
We've got our.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
NFL Draft pre We have just crested the midway mark
of our pre draft special.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
We're with you all the way.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Up until six fifty and then weather permitting for the
Round Rock Express right you know, so that will follow
up at six fifty nine.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
We've talked a lot about longhorns who could wind up
in the NFL Draft and the ones who will probably
go in the first round. And it would be the
first time since you said nineteen eighty.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yes, so it happened two times nineteen forty two and
nineteen eighty.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
And in nineteen forty two the draft was six years old.
The first one was in nineteen thirty six, so it
would have been nineteen forty two, would have been wartime
in the selection meeting happened right after the Japanese attacked
Pearl Harbor, so things were a little bit different back then.
But nineteen eighty was the last time the Loghorns had

(25:14):
three first rounders go, and it could happen again. We
know that Quin youwers, will not be a first round
draft choice. That would be a surprise. However, we do
all expect to see QB one now moving on to
the NFL. QB one now belongs to our che manning,
but we expect him to wind up in the NFL draft.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
The question is where?

Speaker 8 (25:37):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Where where would Quinn?

Speaker 7 (25:39):
You know when when I would say mid to late
second round?

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Wow?

Speaker 7 (25:49):
Okay, him and Milroe are going to be surprises. Okay,
there's too much of a need for quarterbacks. And once
the cream of the crop, if you will, is gone,
the rest of these teams will fall in line and
realize they got to get valued. Yea, and they're gonna

(26:10):
be people that are gonna try to save their jobs.
Now where would they go? H? I can see Quinn
in San Francisco I can see Quinn in Los Angeles
and Detroit, like he should be on a team that
has already a versatile offense. That he's a really really

(26:31):
smart quarterback as well as all the arm angles and
being able to.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Like that like like we've seen with Sam Allen complicated.

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Yeah, he's gonna be the guy that can go into
a complicated offense. You don't go simple and you want
to go to you know, I don't see Quinn in
Philly or in Washington because or the Baltimore like he's
not that athlete.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Now mil Roe.

Speaker 7 (26:57):
I can see mil Row and sitting on the bench
behind a Lamar Jackson, Jalen.

Speaker 3 (27:03):
Urds or Jaydon Daniels or Daniels.

Speaker 7 (27:05):
Like, you know, that would be beneficial because of the
RBO systems.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
Let me ask you this and we'll get into it.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
I think too, he'll go third round on I think
he's that down. I thought maybe, you know, at one
point I thought he could have snuck into the first round.
If you go back and you listen to John Gruden
in his time with him, and by the.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Way, I think that helps quarterbacks like Quinn another quarterback
that Gruden sit down thing. Absolutely it certainly doesn't hurt him,
so I think it probably helps.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
And he is pumping it up.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
He believes in it, and you get to see a
different personality from one quinn yours and other quarterbacks. But
my question is, why do you think his star has
kind of I'm not saying fallen because that's not even
fair because I think he did an excellent job and
I was defending him to no end and I'm still
defending him. And I think he's going to be a

(27:56):
great NFL quarterback because if he lands in the right system.
But why is it that people just kind of wrote
him off? And I know it's not the mobility deal,
but he dealt with injuries. But why do you feel
like this is something that kind of written him off?
You've got to see every single game up close in person.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Well, I think it's what Kim pointed out earlier. The
question of the reliability of health is it would be
the biggest strike against him because when he was healthy,
he had proven how dead eye he could be, and
the two games against Alabama before he got injured in

(28:37):
the first game in Alabama, but the other game against Alabama,
Michigan game went in some high profile games Hey, the
Peach Bowl, he absolutely had to be there when a
lot of other guys were not at their best.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
He had to be and was so.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
But you know that old thing about the last impression,
what happened there at the end of the Cotton Bowl
that sticks with some people there and he gets hit
and you know, in the tip pass and it goes
back for the touchdown to clinch the game for Ohio State.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
So that's why there's gonna.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
Be pluses and minuses, which normally, by the way, is
what happens with quarterbacks who slide into the third or
the fourth round.

Speaker 7 (29:14):
Correct, Craig, I really do think that a lot of
Quinn's issues, And I'm not coming across as a hater
because I supported him when everybody was calling for him. Right,
Quinn cannot be as lackadaisical with the ball as he
has in years past. He will not throw step into
a throw and just really let it go like he
can because he's been told otherwise. The system of Texas

(29:40):
is precise. This is what we need. Don't overdo do
what I tell you. Like when he gets to the pros,
those coaches are gonna be like, look you the quarterback,
we called the play, execute it at the fullest of
your ability, and Quinn sometimes takes plays off mentally, I
can make.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
This throw it.

Speaker 7 (30:00):
I sleep, No step your butt into the throw of Quinn,
like if he has the mindset of now I need
to take over because I'm going to be held accountable
by grown ups.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
You're not the oldest guy on the team.

Speaker 7 (30:14):
Now, that's gonna be thirty five year old me going
hey man, we need a first down.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Well, that's the best part of your point right there.
I listen. I've seen the head coach of this football
team on the practice field. He holds his quarterbacks accountably.
I've seen him. I saw him get into Quinn's face.
But your point is made. Quinn at times could be hesitant,
especially when he wasn't a one hundred percent physically. There

(30:39):
were rip things we didn't know about or whatn't out
there for several weeks. But your point is spot on
that he's got to be able to cut it.

Speaker 7 (30:47):
Loose at the He's got to be able to cut
it loose at the next level and hold him back Like, man,
I remember watching l Way throw the ball intentionally harder
than he can to mentally challenge his wide receivers, and
I heard Vance Johnson talking about that.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
He's like, man, I'd have.

Speaker 7 (31:07):
Little teas all over me, and I'd be wondering where
all these tea's come from. And it was where the
ball was hitting him, and it left an indention through
his pads onto his skin. Quinn needs to let these
guys know, hey, I'm coming with the ball. Magic Johnson
he used to hit people in the face with the
ball on purpose because he knew they didn't have their

(31:28):
eyes on him.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
And Quinn is going to have to dominate the locker room.

Speaker 7 (31:33):
As well as the huddle as well as his abilities.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Uh, Cam, where do you see Quinn going?

Speaker 5 (31:41):
Yeah, the thing with Quinn is just like to your point, Craig,
I don't think we truly knew how it banged up
he's been during his tenure at Texas. And you know
that there's one side about well, you could have been
so much better. But the scary thing is like, Okay, well,
at a certain point, either you're durable or you're not.
And that's what I worry about with Quinn is just
he's been able to really stay healthy since his time

(32:01):
at South Lake Carrol.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
I mean he was injured at as a high schooler.

Speaker 5 (32:04):
Remember the torn of league happened there where he missed
a big chunk of his season.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Same thing happened at Texas. And I think if you're
an NFL GM, you're a little bit worried about Okay,
if we if.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
We draft him, can he go through the week to
week strenuous part of the NFL season and go up
against these guys and take big hits. We all know
his IQ is there he and he can throw one
of the prettiest footballs I've ever seen.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
The moment I saw him that spring White the Ones why.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
M a few years ago, I had never seen a
quarterback be able the spring it like he can. He
throws a tight spiral, the deep ball. You know we've
we beat that, We've betate like a dead horse the
last couple of years talking about Quinn yours and his
deep ball. And I think the scary thing to you
also was his numbers on third downs last year weren't great.
Fifty five percent completion rating, nine touchdowns, seven interceptions. So

(32:49):
those things that NFL teams are looking at. Can you
improve on your your third down passing ability? And can
you stay healthy you know, Craig, you're a Rams fan.
I would have loved see yours. You know Sean McVay
offense or a Kyle Shanahan that you know that West
Coast style offense because he knows it.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
He's been there.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
It's been with Sark for a couple of years now,
you know, is it very well? You put him in
a system he can thrive in, You're gonna be able
to get the most out of him. So we'll see
right again, Miamiami, Miami is Miami lafleur. Even Minnesota with
with Kevin O'Connell though, I mean they have j. J.
McCarthy their quarterback, but you know, a system like that,

(33:27):
And I'm curious to see which quarterbacks go tonight because
we're gonna see Kim Ward at one.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Now, do the Giants trade back up for Shador?

Speaker 5 (33:35):
Does Jackson dart land in in Pittsburgh? Because if shador In,
dart and Sanders are all gone today, then you know,
I think either it's Quinn yours or Jylen Milroe will
be the next quarterback off the board, right, And that
just depends on Okay, do you want a project quarterback
like Milroe or do you want a quarterback like Quinn
who you already know what he can do.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Just can he stay healthy? Can we can?

Speaker 7 (33:57):
We not glass fact that Jackson Dart is a really
good athlete. I mean he is a talented athlete, not
just a good quarterback.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
And I don't think.

Speaker 7 (34:10):
You know he better than I that the guys he's fast.
He ran a fourth six' eight or something at the,
Combine like that's, fast that's not. Average and he sticks
his nose in there and he's. Durable Jayalen remilroe ran
a four to. Three heyin't, Listen come on, now we're not.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
Talking we've Seen Jackson dart not be able to lead
a team against sub per teams. Too that's WHY i
continue to go back to WHAT i. SAID i, mean
it doesn't really matter at the end of the, day the,
thing because it only takes one person to like. You
and if that person Is Jackson, dart if that person
Is Jalen, milroe if That's Shador, sanders you only need.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
One and that's Why Tyler shuck is.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
Getting so much love because people have pushed him up.
There we all look at the film On Tyler suck
And i'm, like what are you talking About, YEAH i can't, see,
YEAH i don't understand.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
It but With Jackson dark the upside can be.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Great but the inconsistency that we were talking about with
the footwear With quinn can be attributed to the same
thing With Jackson.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Dart all, right we'll be.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Back to a ramp ap hour number Three here At Twin,
PEAKS i thirty Five lewis And.

craig don't don't, teat don't tell me with a good.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Time, yeah WELL i wasn't even just referring to.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Football you.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Know they always say let so and so, eat you,
know because because one thing that's always for sure is
that you have a point of view about.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Things you know, What man for?

Speaker 7 (36:25):
SURE i love sports AND i love not only like
to watch it for to be, entertained BUT i don't
mind critiquing it like it's it's something that just makes
me feel. GOOD i like doing. It i'm gonna do
it for free, anyway, right might as well get.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Paid absolutely all. Right so with that in, mind who
is the most overrated player that's being talked about a
lot about being a first round drive?

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Choice who do you? Think who do you think?

Speaker 4 (36:53):
It?

Speaker 2 (36:53):
WILL i Think will is the. One excuse, me, Okay Will.

Speaker 7 (36:58):
Campbell Will, Campbell Will campby watching like a lot of
his film and he lets guys get into him a.
Lot he's gonna have to really be able to master.
It like you, know they talk about short. Arms that's
one of those things where you can't teach him how
to do. Better had longer, Arms, right so you're gonna

(37:21):
have to have him attack people and run them off those,
spots which is hard in THE nfl because guys not
to use their.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
Hands so, well so he's gonna, struggle AND.

Speaker 7 (37:32):
I guarantee you we'll be the one he'll be the
offensive lineman at the top that everybody will, go, ah,
MAN i thought he was gonna be better Watch.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
Yeah, interesting, well and he is viewed as being a
top five. Pick maybe about The patriots at number. Four
they have a big need for help on the offensive.
Front so that brings to mind that rub THAT i
was talking about to start filling a need versus best
player are. Available if Ash gent is sitting, there which

(38:05):
he probably would be at, four and The patriots need
a running, back but they need help on the offensive.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
LINE i mean.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
That's the you, know that's the quandary they have to
deal with what they have the ability to.

Speaker 7 (38:17):
Do like The cowboys did in the. Nineties you, know
you got your quarterback last.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
Year you know who that guy is gonna.

Speaker 7 (38:25):
Be now you get your running, back or you get
your franchise wide receiver and then you just start building
from the ground, up you. Know but The patriots has
spent a lot of Money Robert kraft is spending more
money on football than.

Speaker 3 (38:40):
Massages, now, well and that's saying something and and and
they need help with the young Quarterback drake may second year.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
GOOD i mean that they're all in on.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Him so he's so so they need help for. Him
the question, is is Will campbell the guy to be
able to give him?

Speaker 2 (38:58):
THAT i don't think. SO i think that you Think
Kelvin banks would be a better.

Speaker 7 (39:03):
Choice banks is a better, Choice like he's the most
ready to play right now in THE, nfl because we
have seen, it but the best defensive ends in the Country, Alabama,
georgia and then you see him go in there and
he still makes these, guys, yeah so they.

Speaker 2 (39:25):
Disappear so it begs the, question.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
Harje Is campbell one of those guys that and have
a Feeling mark feels this, way could be the one
guy you see every year that drops unexpectedly and drops
and drops in the first.

Speaker 6 (39:39):
ROUND i.

Speaker 4 (39:40):
WOULD i would think, that but only in the fact
of if that position goes earlier and they make a
move For Kelvin, banks If Kelvin banks jumps, him THEN
i can see that because a lot of people have
talked about, him so. Much but, again like everything, else
when you start to think about the arms and being

(40:01):
able to move, around it changes the concept a lot
in those particular.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Moments all, right we're just inside two hours remaining in a. Program,
here come on out here To Twin peaks And Round
ROCK i thirty five lewis He A boulevard as we
continue with Our draft day preview show right, Here i'm
thirteen under.

Speaker 1 (40:17):
The, zone thirteen hundred of The zone presents a SPECIAL
Nfl draft show live From Twin peaks In Round. Rock
here's your, Hosts Craig, way By, Carge Mark henry And Cameron.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
Parker unrestrained and, unrelenting we charge on into the fourth
hour of our nearly five hours of draft preview from
here At Twin PEAKS i thirty five and lewis Hen
A boulevard here In Round. Rock, craigway my Card Ball,

(40:50):
Hards Mark, Henry Cameron. Parker glad to have you with.
Us as we've discussed quite a bit from The longhorn,
perspective speaking from The longhorn for perspective from the Ex loghorn. Perspective,
uh your conversation With Aaron williams will have coming up this,
hour so we'll look forward to look forward to.

Speaker 4 (41:08):
That And aaron actually is hanging out In buffalo for the,
draft hanging out With Bill's, mafia and so he's really
excited about.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
It he's wild.

Speaker 7 (41:20):
Man he's talking about going through tables and you, know
you know what in.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Mafia, listen and and and And aaron was always a
pretty entertaining, guy going back to his time playing it
at McNeil, high no.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Doubt.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
UH i always share the story as a funny story
with football coaches more than than football players and even
media who cover it. Fans football coaches have a tendency
to abbreviate and nicknamed players because it helps him.

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Remember them a lot. More it just it just.

Speaker 3 (41:59):
Does When Aaron williams played At, texas he Told Mack,
brown he, said you can just call ME. Aj so
everybody was calling ME A. J, williams A. J. Williams
we started CALLING A. J williams the AIR i. Uh
we were doing a remote and his, dad Who i've
known a long, Time, eugene comes up to me and, says, Listen, Anthony,
anthony and, Yeah anthony comes up to me And anthony, says,

(42:20):
LISTEN i need you to do me a. Favor, uh
his name Is. Aaron it's a biblical. Name we gave
him that name for a. Reason would you please call Him?
AARON i said, Sure SO i go back AND i
call Him, aaron you, know during, during during the. Thing

(42:41):
and then we Were i'm Doing max show the next
week And mac referred to aj or something we got
to break AND i, said, Hey anthony came up to
me and, said, uh this and, this and he, goes,
well he needs to tell his son because his son
is telling him telling us to call him a J
so so there was that and we Went we called
Him aaron the rest of his. Time but, coaches coaches

(43:04):
tend to do that, because you, know they it's easier
for them to. Remember Matthew, golden who's going to go
in the first round of THE Nfl, draft start called.
Him matt called Him matt quite a bit and we were, told,
hey now on what's supposed to Be. Matthew we actually
Asked Matthew golden on the air on a postgame show

(43:24):
about you, know is It matt Or. Matthew he, Said matt's.
Fine he, Goes i'm not sure where people got what
That matthew. Thing SO i Told John byac on The
Texas media relations, staff and they, said we got to
double back with him because we asked him about that
at the. Start so then we find out the next, Week,
hey his mom checked, In please call Him.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Matthew so we called Him.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
Matthew we got got to the postgame show and he
gets to the locker room With Will matthews and he,
said we're going back To matthew and he, goes, yeah
my mom.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Wanted to.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
Go so that's why it was mad you and that's
why he's listed his math.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
HERE i got hit in high school as a.

Speaker 7 (44:05):
FRESHMAN i thought that mark with A k was kind
of weird AND i wanted to be marked with A.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
C i went to the library AND i changed. It
did you?

Speaker 7 (44:15):
Really and my mom saw it on the report card
and went all holistic through stuff and then hit me and,
said you go change it. Tomorrow and her teeth never
came apart when she said. It AND i don't know
if you've ever heard your mom talk to you your,

(44:35):
teeth you will change it scared me to.

Speaker 2 (44:38):
DEATH i went and changed. It it cost me eighteen.
Dollars you became marked with A k. AGAIN i was
marked with A k again and never.

Speaker 3 (44:45):
CHANGED i had a grandfather Named Samuel Worth way and
his father had Been Samuel Elliott. Way, well my grandfather
didn't like, you didn't want people call Him. Sam he
legally changed his name lipp him around To Worth Samuel.
Way so he went By worth his entire, life which
is kind of short for Like. Worthington you, know It's.

(45:06):
British but everybody called Him. Worth that was the, deal
because he didn't want people call Him.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Sam that's the. Reason what's in a?

Speaker 3 (45:13):
Name, well the names that will be called, tonight AND
i saved it for the five o'clock.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
Hour and it's.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
FUNNY i started to say, this and sure enough he
pops up on the. Screen is the name Of Shudoor.
Sanders his name will be called probably in the first,
round maybe even in the top.

Speaker 2 (45:29):
TEN i don't.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
Know but there's been all kinds of drama surrounding him
and Being dion's, son and maybe maybe it would be
less dramatic had he been somebody's son other Than.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
Neon THAT i think has only added to.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
It but you have the quote unquote ANONYMOUS nfl personnel
and coach saying that he had a terrible interview and
didn't care about his teammates and all this other kind of,
stuff and all that's done is just kind of fan
the flames a little. Bit so my question to you
guys is what kind of prospect do you see from?

(46:06):
Him how good can he? Be and where do you
think he'll wind up.

Speaker 4 (46:09):
Going, Well i'm just gonna say, THIS i think he
is one of the best. Prospects Even Mel kuiper has
him as his top.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Rated quarterback in this.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
Draft the reason being is because of those things that
you spoke. OF i, mean he's been in a household
that understands what pressure is all. About he's been in
a household where he's not the best athlete in, there
so he had to compete at a high. Level you
look at his numbers and what he's been able to. Do,
yes people talk about him holding the football a little

(46:40):
bit too. Long that can be taught out of, him
because if we haven't forgot his time at some of
these stops has been with a bad offensive. Line and
most of the, time when you go to a place
and you're able to be drafted, high you go to
a place that's normally got bad situation, Right so to,
ME i think he has a ton of upside given

(47:04):
the fact that if he's gonna, fall he's going to
fall into a good.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Situation being at the.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
Top of the draft and being the number one like Cam,
ward that's one, thing but that's not. Everything you want
to fall into a good, spot And i'm hopeful that
he does kind of. Fall if he can go To New,
orleans which some of the mock drafts has n't fallen.
There if he can go To, pittsburgh those are two
places THAT i believe will be good for him because

(47:32):
of the surroundings that he's gonna be. In the leadership
is one of the first things that you have to
learn as a.

Speaker 7 (47:38):
Quarterback you have to be it's. Lonely you're Not you
can't be buddies.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
With all the.

Speaker 7 (47:43):
Players you got to listen to the. Coach you spend
a lot of times in coaches, meetings you spend a
lot of time with your and film when nobody's. There,
like it's lonely at the top as the star. Quarterback
and he's been taught that already and he used he's
used to being that.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
Guy so like it's a double. Standard.

Speaker 7 (48:04):
Now, now now it's it's not okay for a quarterback
that he gets a bad rap for not being the
fun guy and not being a great teammate because he
likes to go watch film and focus on the game.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
Plan, LIKE i don't think it's.

Speaker 5 (48:20):
FAIR i think the off the fields scotten a little
bit blown out of. Proportion for most of it's due
to his last. NAME i, mean think about all the
hooplah with him Being Dionne. Sun can you imagine what
it's gonna be like for arch in two years when
he comes out of the, draft.

Speaker 2 (48:34):
Especially if he has the career that he. Has, no, no, no,
no it's gonna be great because he's. Manning it's going
to be. Sure sure because there any negative press in this.

Speaker 5 (48:46):
World the one thing Isold Door. Sanders he he's won
everywhere he's. Gone now he hasn't, won you, know twelve
to thirteen fourteen games At, colorado but he did a
great job With Jackson. State and the one thing that
worries me, though is that his time At, colorado he
spent a lot of time in the pocket and was

(49:07):
a little bit slow and getting the, ball and he
was also one of the most sacked quarterbacks in college.
Football now you can point To, colorado which is not
having an offensive line during his two seasons In, boulder
and that's part of. It the other part of it
is that one thing's for sure in THE, nfl you
have to.

Speaker 2 (49:23):
Be able to get the ball out. Quickly it's it's a.

Speaker 5 (49:25):
Must and so that's a couple of things THAT nfl
teams are going to be looking, at Which. Chador BUT
i think he's equally as good of a prospect as Cam.
Ward but looking at these mock, drafts and we've seen
stuff from Field yates To Dan brugler To todd, McShay
all of them have one thing in.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
Common chador is not in the first round now.

Speaker 5 (49:46):
You see out of one or two mock, drafts probably,
nothing but the fact that all these guys now are saying,
that and a lot of their intel will come from
speaking to other front office members and teams AND dms
tells you that right now the market has cooled on
To Door sanders as at this. Moment but, still whether
he's A day two pick or a late first round,
PICK i think he's just as good as a quarterback

(50:08):
as Cam. WARD i think Cam, MOORE i love his.
Story he's A texas, guy and the numbers he said
At Incarnate ward were. Great what he did In pullman
two years ago and then In, miami it's a fantastic.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Story but he has not played against the level.

Speaker 5 (50:22):
Competition now you can say the same thing About Seorrs,
sanders but he has not played against the level competition
That Quinn yours Or Jackson dark. Have So i'm curious
to see how that reflects during their time in THE.

Speaker 2 (50:33):
Nfl and you, know maybe it.

Speaker 5 (50:34):
DOESN'T i, Mean Patrick mahomes is That texas tech and
he turned out to be a darn good.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
Quarterback.

Speaker 7 (50:39):
Right you talked about both of these, guys and they're different.
Quarterbacks if Out Kim, WARD i think he reminds me
a lot Of Bench. Young he's a. Glider he could
turn on the. Speed he could hit the, brakes make people,
disappear and then take off running.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Again he could throw the.

Speaker 7 (50:58):
Ball BUT i look At shader as being more Like
Drew Brees like he's very precise with the, ball And
i'm still very accurate with the.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Ball he'll, scramble but he's not gonna.

Speaker 7 (51:10):
Run he's scrambling to set up and throw how many
times you See Drew brees running around.

Speaker 2 (51:17):
Running he's all over the.

Speaker 7 (51:19):
Place not quite frank, targeting but he was Was he
was a. Scrambler that is Why shadeer holds the ball so,
long not because he's trying to run the ball all the,
time because he's on the run and he has to
make chicken salad out of the other.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
Stuff So i'm just hoping that he.

Speaker 7 (51:41):
Gets in a situation where he has a really good offensive,
line or at least one that's one or two pieces,
away and then you could develop over two or three,
years and now you got a guy that everybody's, well
we were wrong about, him and that's WHAT i think
is gonna.

Speaker 3 (51:57):
Happen it's interesting Cam is corrected and he talked about
how Field yates did not Have schuduar standards in the first.
Round he didn't if things stand the way they. Are
he had a follow up where he has a mock
trade between The commanders and The, browns and The, browns
who would then land the.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
Twenty ninth, pick would Take.

Speaker 3 (52:17):
Sanders, however As cam report a little while, ago The
browns made a late round deal with The. Texas doesn't
mean they wouldn't make a deal up here on the
top hand on, that but if they, did that's What
Field yatehs is calling, for is for The browns to
make a, trade and then The browns with the twenty
ninth overall pick towards the back end of the first

(52:38):
round going.

Speaker 5 (52:38):
For Shuduur and so, yeah The browns at the first
overall picking the second Round giants right behind him thirty fourth,
overall and then The raiders at thirty.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
Seven so if you don't you, Know browns will Take Travis.

Speaker 5 (52:48):
Hunter but they still need a quarterback because who's going
to be the quarterback in twenty twenty Five we don't
know Because Deshaun watson's probably out for the. Year same
thing for The New York, giants and then of course
with The Las Vegas raiders two and of course you
Know tom he is going to be heavily. Involved Tom
brady understands the importance of having a quarterback on the.

Speaker 2 (53:05):
Team SO i look for either.

Speaker 5 (53:08):
One of those teams to end up probably moving, up
As Phil jates are reporting in his Little Mott draft trade,
SCENARIO i could see either one of those, teams most
Likely vegas Or New york moving up at the end
of the first. Round If sador is still, there if
that's their, guy Or Jackson dart is their. Guy if,
Not cleveland might go ahead and just Take clinn with
the first, back or they might wait to the third.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Round. YEAH i would say.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
This If Shador standers is still sitting there when The
giant's picking the second.

Speaker 2 (53:35):
Round they will take, him no. Doubt.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
Yeah but if he's if he makes the best, win, yeah,
yeah if you can get him in the second. Round
if that's in, case they the.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
Case all.

Speaker 3 (53:44):
Right coming, up MORE Nfl draft conversation and the Aforementioned
Aaron williams appearing on the morning kickoff With harge And,
Henry so you'll hear that coming up as we continue
here up until six fifty. Tonight then Is Round Rock
express Base.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
Ball AS i.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
About, that there's a rain coming down here at the
moment In Round.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
Rock but we'll hope for the. Best it's gonna be
so good for my.

Speaker 3 (54:15):
Grass, yes absolutely it will.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
Be we'll continue here on thirteen under The.

Speaker 1 (54:20):
Sun welcome back to our SPECIAL Nfl draft show live
From Twin peaks And Round. Rock here's your, Hosts Craig,
way My Cards Mark henray And Cameron parker.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
Looking about this.

Speaker 3 (54:38):
Afternoon here's THE Nfl, draft which gets underway a little
over ninety minutes from now At lambeufield In Green, Bay,
wisconsin and we've discussed different players in the top ten
And longhorns and other players as. Well look for another

(54:58):
overview This we also are going to get the opinion
of another guy who's a Lifetime longhorn but has a
little more worldly view of THE Nfl.

Speaker 4 (55:09):
Draft, absolutely it's always special when you get a chance
to interview players that played at The university Of texas
that went through the draft. Process and he also went
through a day to where he thought he was going
to be in the first, round ended up getting picked
up in the second. Round so you get to see
the turmoil and the inks on the. Face and it's

(55:30):
always special for me WHEN i get a chance to
interview One Aaron williams' lifetime.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
Longhorn, aaron this.

Speaker 4 (55:37):
Is an important time for a lot of players as
their lives will, change and you were one of those
players that had his life. Change as a matter of,
fact you got a birthday coming up here in the
next couple of.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
Days but we'll talk about that in a.

Speaker 4 (55:51):
Minute but you came to The university Of texas and
made your mark early in your freshman, year and as you,
developed you saw your opportunity to get to the next
level grow and, grow and eventually got to THE. Nfl
but talk about your time on the forty anchors that
led to your opportunity to get.

Speaker 11 (56:12):
DRAFTED i mean, TRUE i had a pretty amazing experience
AT ut coming in as a, freshman high expectations from
a disappointing year that the year, before and you, know
the veteran, guys.

Speaker 6 (56:29):
The senior, guys you, know all lucked.

Speaker 11 (56:31):
Usin and had had a good first two years and
then obviously the last year was one of the start.

Speaker 6 (56:37):
Of the disappointing. Years but the overall.

Speaker 11 (56:39):
Experience for me TWO Bcs bowl, games One National championship,
game and then in A big twelve championship.

Speaker 6 (56:46):
Game so right, there it's. UP i think that's pretty
good to to have an to have a great.

Speaker 11 (56:51):
Experience but the coaching, staff the, players everyone you, know
push each other to to be great as possible and
the development that you t carries with the great coaching.
STAFF i was blessed enough to be with Coach Wynie,
keena as we all, know the godfather of D.

Speaker 6 (57:06):
Wu SO.

Speaker 11 (57:08):
I had a heck of experience at college and it
definitely prepared me to get ready for THE.

Speaker 7 (57:13):
Nfl Aaron Cose sark has made it abundantly clear that
he wants the representation of Former university Of texas. Athletes
do you have a relationship with the university still and
now that coach A kena's. Back if you, don't will, YOU.

Speaker 11 (57:35):
I will always be long. Harmed SO i will always
be connected, somehow some.

Speaker 6 (57:38):
Way And Coach stark does love.

Speaker 11 (57:41):
When former guys come back and just kind of mentor
the kids and just try and show them the right.
Path you, know with my Coach Matt, brown he did
a great.

Speaker 6 (57:52):
Job of allowing guys to come back.

Speaker 11 (57:54):
And show those guys' experiences and show them what it
takes to get to the next. Level So stark is
bringing that that camaraderie, back that, family that family bond
that we've always. Had and and also the o the coaching,
staffs even if they're new or, not you, know they
come together and want us to help as much as
we can as.

Speaker 6 (58:11):
Possible and it makes it better.

Speaker 11 (58:13):
For me personally just because you, know coach me and
Coach keena have been through a lot together and we
we you know Fell we've been, successful we, fought we
we've done it all. Together so to have that that
amazing coach to come, back it truly is a blessing
for those, kids not only just for. ME i mean
it's great for me to have him, back but for

(58:35):
him to have a knowledge and just you, know He's
he's brought a lot of guys in the in THE,
nfl and to have those guys that have experience to
that to with Coach, KEINA i, mean it's truly an
opportunity that they, should you, know take advantage.

Speaker 4 (58:47):
Of we're talking to Lifetime, Longhorn Aaron williams And aaron you,
KNOW i look At Jahda, barron another local. Kid you
went to, McNeil he went To Flugerville conley and he
is an other dog, GUYS i like to, say somebody
that can do a little bit of. Everything he's played
multiple positions at The university Of. Texas you had an

(59:09):
opportunity to do different things and play multiple positions as.
Well what is it About John day that has a
lot OF nfl scouts looking at him and salivating over his.

Speaker 11 (59:21):
ABILITY i, mean, honestly, man when you went To Jim Thorpe,
award there's there'd BE i would be, very very curious
to see why any coaches wouldn't go out to that
playmaker that we Had. DAY i, Mean i'm always Praised.
JADA i, mean we're two Local austin, kids and it's
not Many austin.

Speaker 6 (59:40):
Kids making noise like Like John day. DID i.

Speaker 11 (59:43):
Did we Had James macoula was also From. Austin so
anytime those, guys anytime there's anybody, Local i'm always praised
because you, know as An austin, kid you don't really
hear a lot of highlights from guys from from the local.
Area so any TIME i noticed or seeing a guy
that's from The austin, Area i'm always getting a lot.

Speaker 6 (01:00:05):
Of praise and a lot of a lot of.

Speaker 11 (01:00:07):
Help AND i had a chance to optun Through Ja day's.

Speaker 6 (01:00:11):
Time At texas to you, know throw a little tips
here and.

Speaker 11 (01:00:14):
There but for the most, part you, know he Has
michael huss and he has now Had Blake gideo at the,
time and then now he's.

Speaker 6 (01:00:19):
Back to get ready for the.

Speaker 11 (01:00:21):
League And i'm sure he took coach A, keina you,
know came in and whispered in his ear what he.

Speaker 6 (01:00:25):
What he should and should not.

Speaker 11 (01:00:27):
Do and then also his, TEAMMATES i mean they had
he had a very successful career AT, ut the Third
Jim Thorpe award rnning for, us so there's not really
much he needed to. Prepare but the coaches That laura
look at him just know that he's getting a. PLAYMAKER i,
mean he didn't win A Jim thorpe for no, reason and.

Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
We let another.

Speaker 7 (01:00:45):
One you talk about the local, prospects we Let Leonard
moore get out of here and go To Notre.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Dame But i'll tell you, what with the portal now
there's there still might be a. Chance what do you.

Speaker 11 (01:00:56):
Think, Look i'm telling right.

Speaker 6 (01:00:59):
Now the portal, nowadays, man anything is.

Speaker 11 (01:01:01):
Possible you.

Speaker 6 (01:01:02):
Know the portal and THE nil has definitely changed the
game of.

Speaker 11 (01:01:07):
Recruiting and luckily For, texas you, know we have a
GREAT nil booster.

Speaker 6 (01:01:14):
Fund behind, us and it Wouldn't it would be not
the smartest idea for kids not to come To.

Speaker 11 (01:01:21):
TEXAS i, mean you literally have everything great coaching, STAFF
nfl experience by being AT, ut the city itself and
the great, people the great, FOOD i, mean and the
money behind it that we can we can throw out
the kids now how this game is being. Played so
it's really it's really an opportunity for the kids to
come in and just experience something that a lot of

(01:01:41):
people just don't get the chance to.

Speaker 7 (01:01:44):
And a mentorship with somebody like you And huff And Dereck.
Johnson just the history of this university was a big.

Speaker 11 (01:01:53):
Class it is and that's one of the reasons why
it maybe would draw To. Texas you, know BEFORE i
Was winton And road To, TEXAS.

Speaker 6 (01:02:03):
I had always looking up the guys Like michael Hof.

Speaker 11 (01:02:05):
Quinn, Jammer Michael, Griffin Rod, BABERS i, mean the let's
can go, On Nathan basher and SO i had a great,
example AND i think the best thing THAT et can
do is continue that tradition of showing that showing these
kids that you, know this guy came From, Houston, Dallas.
Austin they came Into austin together to complete a goal.

Speaker 6 (01:02:28):
To win national.

Speaker 11 (01:02:29):
Championship but then hopefully for your career and you, know
live and play as long as can IN. Nfl we're
talking to.

Speaker 2 (01:02:36):
Lifetime, Longhorn Aaron williams And.

Speaker 4 (01:02:38):
AARON a lot of people don't realize you were one
heck of a baseball.

Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Player you had all kinds of.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
Talent In texas now has a two sports star well
in One Jonah. Williams Jonah williams got an opportunity safety
From galveston, ball came to school early for, football but
ended up being on the baseball, field and now he's
making ways in. Baseball what are your thoughts on two sport.

(01:03:05):
ATHLETES i THINK i know, him but what are your.

Speaker 11 (01:03:08):
THOUGHTS i actually love, it especially for the correlation between
football and baseball and that, coordination how.

Speaker 6 (01:03:16):
To track the. Ball it's another way of training your
body and.

Speaker 11 (01:03:19):
Preparing yourself to be a better version of yourself on the.

Speaker 6 (01:03:22):
Field and you you stay, busy you, know you don't
get a.

Speaker 11 (01:03:25):
Chance to get distracted by other.

Speaker 6 (01:03:27):
Things you're always you, know locked.

Speaker 11 (01:03:29):
In you're always doing some type of workout or getting
prepared for the. Game so it's not like a lot
of guys where you're kind OF i wouldn't say just
sitting during during spring ball or, anything but you're more.

Speaker 6 (01:03:39):
Active you're more still having your body prepared.

Speaker 11 (01:03:43):
And it just helps you in the long. RUN i
love two sport. Athletes it's it gives you a chance
to either stay more focused and prepare yourself in the
ways that you. Know once you you, know look at
your mistakes and realize what you can and cannot do
off the, field it helps you get replaced from the

(01:04:03):
things that you missed, them and you, know from that
field of when you're in season to now that you're
in office and you're still working on those individual, things
just with a different.

Speaker 4 (01:04:12):
Sport, aaron before we let you, GO i wanted to ask.
You you're doing some work with The Buffalo. Bills The
Buffalo bills drafted you in the second round in the
twenty eleven. Draft you've pretty much spent your whole career
there and now you're working with.

Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
Them what are you doing for draft?

Speaker 11 (01:04:28):
Night i'm actually going to be flying up To Buffalo
buffalo seven draft, night and SO i had the opportunity
last year to announce two picks last, year which was
a really cool experience up In. Detroit this year'll be flying.

Speaker 6 (01:04:43):
Up there and they have a big draft. Party SO
i go up there mingle with the.

Speaker 11 (01:04:47):
Fans i'm sure we'll have some guys THAT i played
with up, there so it'll be good to catch up
with some more players and you, know just enjoy That
Bill's Mancia buffalo. Experience you, know even though it's not
a game, DAY i promise, you they're going to treat
it just like a game.

Speaker 6 (01:05:04):
Day you're gonna have tables for us ready to.

Speaker 11 (01:05:06):
Break it's just gonna be another Crazy uh.

Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
Wait you're gonna do an elbow drop through one of the.

Speaker 11 (01:05:14):
Tables hold, on hold on, now hold, on missus strong
stan man on the.

Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
Earth the, reason.

Speaker 11 (01:05:25):
You know, WHAT i actually need tips on how to
properly land and break a table if you. Can i'm
not telling you to go and do.

Speaker 7 (01:05:35):
That lead that to.

Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Do, that, hey BUT i got to.

Speaker 11 (01:05:41):
It it's just part of the. Lifestyle.

Speaker 6 (01:05:43):
Man you like not going to ut cogate and you're going.

Speaker 11 (01:05:46):
TO ut, Games so it's something you gotta you, know prepay.

Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
Yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
LISTEN i go To tailgates to, eat not to be in.
PAIN i want you in. Pain. Brother oh, MY i
can't do.

Speaker 6 (01:05:59):
Either MY i don't think my bike.

Speaker 11 (01:06:00):
Handles So i'll find an.

Speaker 6 (01:06:01):
Alternate for me to do.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
It.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
There there you.

Speaker 11 (01:06:03):
Go, yeah the fans would definitely do.

Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
It for me for, sure there is my Guy Aaron. Williams.

Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
Yeah, uh you, know that's probably one of the understated
things to. Say The bills are having a draft. Night, yeah,
Absolutely and then you're trying to give him tips on
how to break.

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Tables no, no, no, no no no. NO i was
trying to give him tips on being able to walk. Home,
okay to make. It i'm aaby to make it home
safely without any.

Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
Incident, okay that's that's probably.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Wise they set them on.

Speaker 7 (01:06:40):
Fire now they are jumping off of these through tables
set on.

Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Fire bill's my. Fear does that depend on who The bills? Draft?

Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
No, yeah they're just doing it just to do, it,
okay all, right they just do it for.

Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
Fun that's for lighting the. Barbecue they light the. Barbecu,
hey good, job.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Do a.

Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
Table, okay all, right don't take much.

Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
More, no, no apparently. Not it would take more than
that to get us that kind of. Rawity but we
are here here At Twin PEAKS i thirty Five Lewis henna. Here,
hey it's looking promising for The express. Game it's expected
that the rain looks like it. Stopped that's a good.
Thing and we're here up until six fifty with the,
program we'll. Continue i'm thirteen under The.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
Zone welcome back to our SPECIAL Nfl draft, show live
From Twin peaks And Round.

Speaker 8 (01:07:34):
Rock here's your, Hosts.

Speaker 12 (01:07:35):
Craig, Way My, Cards Mark, henray And Cameron.

Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
Parker you, know it's kind of quiet in terms of
maybe it's the calm before the storm pull the draft
which begins about an hour and fifteen minutes from, now
and you, know the crowds have gathered obviously At Lambeau
field of green and all of that stuff is going,

(01:08:01):
on but there's only been the one trade we've heard
about in the run up to, it that one with
those later picks between The texans and The. Browns other than,
that not much going. ON i think everybody's just kind,
of you, know hanging back and waiting to. See and,
incidentally we talked about this earlier fellas about how we

(01:08:21):
think this is a good thing that they moved the draft.

Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
Around this is how good it is For Green, Bay.

Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
Wisconsin it's been an estimate that more than one hundred
million dollars in economic.

Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
Activity that's that's a gift that had to be a, gift.

Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
More than one hundred, million and economic Activity i've been
told as for.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
The, Race, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:08:52):
Exactly and and they say a Typical cowboys weekend whole
game can run anywhere from twenty five to fifty million
dollars in terms of every economic growth in economical in.

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Terms of all.

Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
That to your point About, mark when you said the
last time you were In Green, bay they were, very
very excited that they were getting a high at. Place
the population's only one hundred and seven thousand. People one
hundred and seven, thousand that's only slightly larger Than Cedar.

Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
Park well think about, that AND i was, Saying, Shreeport
sreeport is way, bigger a.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Lot, bigger a lot bigger than. That and of course
they'll have more than eighty thousand fans there that, that
but in the. Seats but they're saying they'll have three
times as many people in and around the stateiument on the,
field somewhere around two hundred and forty. Thousands of, course
last year's draft In detroit sent an attendance record seven
hundred and seventy five thousand people because it was out

(01:09:54):
and about and spilling all over the.

Speaker 4 (01:09:56):
Place, well if you look at What i've just saw
out side of the stadium as they were walking. In
there's a lot of people that are there representing our good.
Friends Steve foster is, there he's up. There Stu myrick
as always is. There and then you start to look
AROUND Q myers and all the other stations around the

(01:10:17):
country because they're all representing a certain. Team but then
think about the fan, bases the fan bases Of Green.
Bay everybody's an. Owner think about, that everybody owns. Exactly
it's amazing when you start to think about.

Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
It the the other thing that comes to mind for
the draft is you mentioned the fan. Bases the fan
bases there in this coach back all the way into
when it was they were having it at The Mary,
marquee when it was Mainly jets And giants, fans and
THE nfl recognized the value in having it in other.

(01:10:54):
Places what was In vegas two three years ago and
you had fans of every, team there's A rams fan
there would.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
Be excited About andy Or Jason Wag they're Not rams.

Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
Fans AND i don't THINK i don't think THAT i
would dress up quite like that dude did?

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
Uh but but they but they show all the.

Speaker 3 (01:11:14):
Teams it's almost like being at a political convention with
a you, know there's there's the banner for the state Of,
montana and there's the one For, texas and there's the
one For ohio and all of. That so they have
their precincts, represented which is why this has become such
an annual. Event you know that there are many who
still believe and push forward and continue to push saying

(01:11:37):
that the day after The Super bowl should be A
Federal holidays Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
MONDAY i believe that a federal.

Speaker 5 (01:11:44):
That game ends at like one, am with all the
commercials in halftime.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
Show why, not you, know why not go ahead and
have that there up From Daddy. SODA's, yeah there you.

Speaker 6 (01:11:53):
Go so.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
That's what the wave of the record. Call the one
day that you AND i and the shows will not
have off will be That. Monday oh, yeah we're expecting
to be. Attendance we'll be here for one more.

Speaker 3 (01:12:09):
Hour we've got one more hour of This Draft day,
special so stay with us as we continue From Twin,
PEAKS i thirty five And Louis henna here In Round.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
Rock i'm thirteen under The.

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Zone welcome back to our SPECIAL Nfl draft, show live
From Twin peaks and Round.

Speaker 8 (01:12:25):
Rock here's your, Hosts.

Speaker 12 (01:12:26):
Craig, way My, Cards Mark, henry And Cameron.

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
Parker onward we go here with the first round of
THE Nfl draft getting underway just a little over an
hour from, now and from what we're hearing at this
point is that The Tennessee titans are are going to

(01:12:52):
stay in the number one, spot and then of course
everybody on that is expecting them to. Go, Cameron, yeah
they got one hour To actually they probably have an
hour and fifteen minutes because the draft starts an hour
or hour and ten minutes and they're ten minutes on the.

Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
Clock, yeah and you know how long that's gonna.

Speaker 4 (01:13:06):
Last they're going to wait until nine fifty five before
they run up there and give.

Speaker 6 (01:13:12):
It to the.

Speaker 2 (01:13:12):
Commission have that.

Speaker 3 (01:13:17):
Deal, also in looking at a lot of the projections
from a lot of those who follow THE nfl and
blog it and right for it and cover it and
all this is that there is universal agreement that is
going to be very difficult to pinpoint Where Shadur sanders
is going to land simply because of teams valuing what

(01:13:40):
he can give them differently on that and whether the
value also includes whether if there's a team wanting to
trade to your spot because you know they want that
pick for that. Reason so there's what do you ask? For, yeah,
yeah that's that's the. Key are you swapping and then?
Adding are you adding you, know players who are already.

(01:14:06):
ESTABLISHED i, mean that's why they say this is not
easy to figure out right. Now in, fact most folks
that they have figured that it might be even more
difficult to figure his destination and his landing spot and
where he goes than probably some players over the past several.
Years because of, that that's what seems to be the.

(01:14:27):
Consensus we'll talk more about that win one more hour
of the program or fifteen minutes coming, up because we'll
be done in six fifty For Round Rock Express, baseball
and we're going to hear the morning kickoff, guys conversation
with The hall Of famer The National football and one
of the great writers of all, Time john McClain From,
houston and all that and more coming up in our

(01:14:49):
final inside of our final hour of the program from
here Twin PEAKS i thirty five here In Round rock
At Louis Hennebolo levard here on thirteen under the zone
