Speaker 4 (11:16):
Just came across from my timeline. The MLB, the so
that's Major League Baseball, The NFL and the NBA are
partnering with Fanatics to create LA Strong shirts with your
favorite team logos on it. So example, LA Strong in
old English yellow, the Lakers logo beneath it right, Yeah,
same with the Dodgers white with white on the black shirts.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
They're amazing. So fanatics dot Com has them up right now.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
All proceeds are going to go to LA Fire Department,
Foundation of the American Red Cross to help with all
of the devastation here in Los Angeles. So salute to
salute to all the leagues, and salute to fanatics for
getting that together. And since we're talking about sports, Lakers
coach JJ Redick lost his home in the Palisades fire,
and he coached the game Tuesday night and then went
(12:03):
back to see his house the following day.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Man, here's how he's describing it. I was not prepared.
I was not prepared for what I saw. No. It
is its complete devastation and destruction. And I don't think
you can ever prepare yourself for something like that. Man.
I want to remind everyone that's a human being right there.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Yeah, and regardless of how much he makes or what
team he coaches or whatever, work very hard.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
For that properly.
Speaker 3 (12:27):
See somewhere it says tragedy does not discriminate whether you're rich,
you're in the middle class, like everybody who goes through it.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Yep, that's it, man, Thank you Garcia, thank you Jack,
your mirors. Let's get back to its twenty joints in
a row, twenty thousand dollars fuse back in the mix.
Real ninety two three a Hey Real ninety two to three,
LA is new home for hip hop cruise show. We're
here right here with you every single afternoon, twenty joints
in a row, twenty thousand dollars fues. Where we at
with it was up? Yes, whoa hey Garcia was good.
Speaker 4 (12:59):
We also got a hundred gift card from Downtown LA
Law Group in minutes. We'll stick around for that. Plus,
Kendrick Lamar has been setting record after record after record.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I'll tell you a brand new one coming up next.
I love it. Stay right here for that. Don't move, Jack,
your mirror is now there's an update on fire victims
insurance policies. What's going on?
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Yeah, So, do you guys know who Riccardo Laura is.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Yes, he's the Commissioner of the Southern California Insurance I
know who he is now, Yes, So he issued a
mandatory one year moratorium on non renewals and cancelations to
protect Southern California residents affected by the recent fires.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Now, if you don't know what the heck I just said,
this is basically what it means.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
It basically means that you've you've seen all over the
internet and people have been talking about it on the
news that some people in the Palace States have actually
gotten their insurance is canceled last July. Will this what
Ricardo Laura did? He basically said, Hey, whether that was
canceled or not, you are still going to be protected
(13:54):
during this time.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
And because of the fires, wait to step up.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
It love that.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
It is amazing.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
And there was reported that about sixteen hundred policies in
the Pacific policyes were dropped by far, so this basically
omits that and to provide additional support to those. Lare
also called on insurance to extend their sixty day grace
period for homeowners to pay their insurance premiums. And on
top of that, people are also facing health insurance claims,
(14:21):
so he issued a notice to all California Health Insurance
directing them to submit emergency plans to his department asap
so he can help with those programs as well. So
that's really amazing to hear people are definitely going to
be getting help. There's also grants that you guys, that
people can.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Apply for as well. So anything that you can apply for,
apply for it, do it, just do it.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
That's their delude, you know, of course and bill forgiveness too,
like if you have credit cards and things that you
may not be able to pay because the expenses are
going other places. I know a lot of credit card
companies have sent me emails even though I haven't been affected.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
But I think just to the general Los Angeles area.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
So, like Jackie said, pay attention to all those little
things because there's a lot of help out here for every.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Goes a long way. What's up ject?
Speaker 3 (14:59):
And one more, his office will actually be hosting two
free insurance support workshops. One we'll be in Santa Monica
on January eighteenth and nineteenth, and the second will be
hosted in Pasadena on January twenty fifth and twenty six.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Man, this is all good news right here.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
