Speaker 1 (00:00):
Chanting to the mad chilling with my boy Cruise the
Cruise Show. You did gonna tell them about the Cruise Show?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Three yo, welcome to the Cruise Show After Hours podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
We're all here.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Let's get to it, yo, Garcia, And if you watch
the's on a daily basis, First of all, thank you.
Second of all, if you're wondering why the fuck we're
always wearing sweatshirts, is because it's.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Cold in the summer.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
You're right, ninety degrees outside, but in here it's like
sixty four, so cold. We just need to explain that first,
because I have had someone ask me that. So it
is coldf in here. We're not outside, We're not outside.
This is indoors. And they got to keep the equipment cold.
That's why it's so so cold that's here. Oh yeah,
that's why did you think it was?

Speaker 1 (00:38):
He didn't know that.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
I thought it was just because it was a big
ass building.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
No, there's equipment here that gets hot because of what
we too, and that's why studios are.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Cold building and they want to be nice to keep
us cold.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
No, everybody ever been nice to us? First summertime, Hey, Litsten,
there's a big as building let's make it a freezer.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yeah, I brought a blanket yesterday. That's now my student
your blanket right here by the way.

Speaker 5 (01:01):
Yeah I brought today though.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah damn. So if you don't use it, no one
can use it.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Yeah, I'm just saying I.

Speaker 6 (01:09):
Don't think anybody else should use it.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Let let us use it.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
Will you are here can use it?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Not but less like would you use Jackie's blanket?

Speaker 5 (01:17):
No, right, because it's studio blanket.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I couldn't use it either, because that's like yours. Yeah,
it's like it's too less.

Speaker 6 (01:24):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
It's too less? Is it intimate?

Speaker 6 (01:28):
I believe it isn't?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yeah, why because she farted on it or something?

Speaker 6 (01:33):
Maybe she it little?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Yeah, les blanket.

Speaker 6 (01:41):
COVID is still very you know, not saying you have it,
but you gotta be careful.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
It's just every day.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
But let's just keep talking. Trust me, it'll get funny.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Just keep it going.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Lest it's so cool.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I don't want your COVID blanket.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
I'm like, always mean but kind of nice.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
COVID Kobe is crazy. It's not less. It's like no,
you know what, it's just because it's ill.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
It's not you it's just gross.

Speaker 7 (02:11):
I just know me.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
So that's all.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Why I can smell. Like first I said I wanted
to yuck.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
First I countered Marychaille. Yeah, dang, Jackie, I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (02:25):
I'm all.

Speaker 8 (02:28):
At this point listen, No, I was gonna say we're cool,
we're hobies.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Oh yeah, it's just.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Like, all right, let's talk about Shannon Sharp.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
So he is.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
He was able to settle this case with the only
fans model, right. She wanted fifty mil. They settled a
lot of court a figure probably like half that you
know or something. You know, lawyers do their job, whatever, whatever,
But he was let go from ESPN.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
So my question is, we talked about this the other
day with the CEO Coldplay guy. Is it fair when
something like extra curriculu like that affects your job because
you know, yes, there was a lawsuit, Yes it was
made public, But is that enough for him to lose
his job at ESPN?

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I think when he's like someone of his stature, you're like,
there's cameras everywhere.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
You never know when someone's recording. So I mean, there's
a reason NBA's exists.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
There's a reason, like you can take certain measures and
if he doesn't take those measures, he's he's it's a
free for all.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Dumb he's dumb dog.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
And you know, like the fact that he settled makes
you look guilty, right if you would have fought it. Yeah,
and then one keep them ESPN said, listen, he won,
he fought his battle and when he was proven not guilty.
But like when you settle, I think you say you're
guilty in a way.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
And I think also the big thing was there were
rape allegations, right, yeah, the ard word was there. So
I think that for a ESPN, they just don't want
any of that smoke, right, no.

Speaker 9 (04:01):
Matter how talented someone is, Like, if they have that
attached to their name, it stays with them. And I'm
sure big corporations or any like brand wouldn't want that.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Hey ESPN is still Disney, Yeah that's yeah, that part
playing brand.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Hulu, Yeah that part yeah, soon to be maybe the
NFL network too.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yeah, they're supposed to be buying that. Yeah, I mean
we see that. Crusse and I were talking about it
because we were talking about when he was on the
talk on CBS and uh, Julie Chen Moonvez now Les
Moonvez was her husband. He was one of the big
bosses at Viacom CBS.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Yeah, and he got caught up.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
He got caught up in the Met two stuff, so
early early, damn.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
And she was a personality on the network.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
High profile prior to the marriage.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
No, well, they were together. They've been together for a minute.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
They were together dogs So yes, on his way, what happened?

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Wait, I'm not from I should get the job.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Who So Julie Chen movie Moonvez hosts Big Brother. Okay, okay,
you've seen her and she's on the talk. So she
is married, was married or is married to the president
of Viacom on MTV, nickelodeon, CBS.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Brother to Oh, this lady was Big Brother on CBS.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Big Brother is on CBS. So yeah, he kind of
disappeared after we were talking about that, like a lot
of those you know, a lot of the guys that
if you were convicted, like Harvey, why.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
She's married to that man.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, so a lot of people got convicted.

Speaker 6 (05:35):
I mean, well, I don't know if that's why.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
But.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Yeah, people, a lot of people got convicted. A lot
of people just kind of went away, and he's one
of those people that went away. And she is she
she never used to say. She would always say her
name was Julie Chen. But then when all this stuff happened,
she stood by her man and said, I'm Julie Chen Moonvez.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Nah.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, she was like right or stood up, bro, And
he was under some allegations.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Yeah when he was when people came out in.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
The storm, in the storm, she stood tall.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah, yeah she didn't. She never used to say her name,
but at least as far as I know, for a
long time, but she changed it. So she was kind
of right or die. But that was another person Shine
in chart made me think about that, Like, he's he's
gonna do his podcast to make his money, but he's
not going to be on a network. I don't think
for a minute.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
That's gonna suck. And that's gotta suck.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, okay, so he's uh financially okay with his podcast,
he's doing well for himself. He'll continue to do well.
But it's got to suck to be let go and
not have that other income. It doesn't matter how much
money you have, you always want more. We're human beings.
We're never satisfied. We always want more.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
And it hurts his profile exactly.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
What would you ladies, do if your your partners were
accused of these things in as much as you want
to love them and believe them, I mean, would you
stand by your man or woman?

Speaker 8 (06:51):
Well I'm singletically hypothetically, I mean would you, would you,
no matter what, stand by or would you be like dude,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Maybe he's a creep when I'm not watching, I don't.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
I don't think I can stand by somebody like that.

Speaker 5 (07:10):
I don't think so. Yeah, I mean, like my.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
My boundary is very clear when it comes to like
my relationship, we're like and where I stand morally, and
if the person that I'm not with their morals don't
align with mine, then there's no reason for me to
support them if they do.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
But see you already assuming that there's guilty exactly, bro,
what if he wasn't guilty, Like you know, the person
you're with, What if he's not guilty?

Speaker 5 (07:35):
I mean, if he's not guilty, well that's the thing.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
What if he tells you he's not guilty, but there's
a win or two that's saying he's guilty, then.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I need I just like everybody, women more than you
trust man.

Speaker 10 (07:48):
We need Okay, I'm not gonna like it's not like okay,
Like the minute later, it's like, all right, peace, I'm out,
Like it's not that.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
But at the same time, it's like.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Are you gonna stick around?

Speaker 4 (08:02):
There's multiple people saying like an accusation. Then at the
same time, it's like, okay, well, what do they have
on you that is making them say and if if
even if like the evidence that they have is slightly
like just kind of like uneasy for me, I'm like, okay,
I can do this.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yeah, what if it's not real evidence? What if it's
made up? What if it's.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Not true or yeah, or it's not enough.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
You don't leave until he figures it out, and then
if he's not guilty, you coming back.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Yeah, unfortunately, bro, stop it.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
He could also be guilty and be found not guilty.
That's true what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, like I mean, fucking but look at oj bro,
like I mean, everyone knows who he's guilty.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
I mean, and look at you. You would agree too, Yeah,
a lot of you. There's a lot of bad stuff.
And now he's gonna be able to problem what the.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Helly Like, yeah, I can't. I can't stand by.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
So if he goes guilty. You're not writing him letters
in jail. You're not going to visit them like in
good Fellas.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
No, no, no, soap on nothing. No, that's crazy dog crazy.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Jackie after all.

Speaker 6 (09:07):
That, Yeah, Jackie on that.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
So the distrust would come into play when there's an accusation.

Speaker 6 (09:15):
There, absolutely, I just I don't think I.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Never really know anybody.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
We have people in our family that should be in
jail that we still love. We just don't. We just
don't talk about it.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Oh I don't know them, I know.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
But they're still your family, no matter what you you know,
no matter how you feel.

Speaker 6 (09:32):
It's called boundaries, Okay, we have boundaries.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Boundaries.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Yeah, yeah, it's called boundaries that suck on the family.
I'm very much a believer of not all like, not
all family has to be family.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Sure not me too very much a believer in that.
That's true hundred percent. My immediate family is the family
I live with.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
There's one person that I just want to go and
trash their house, right. It takes me every day, It
takes this like my strength every to do that.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Trying to say too much because I have a feeling
you may hurt someone down the line.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
They're gonna use this as evidence.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Exactly, and then Nico won't stand by you.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yeah, exactly. And I hate that, you know that.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Jackie gets a treating past Nicoll stand by important. I'm
minute someone wrong out.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
I mean, that's a big deal. That's a big wrong
thing to you know.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Speaking of Jackie and Nico. Tomorrow on the after Hours podcast,
We're actually gonna have a doctor on the show, and
she's a relationship guru. Uh Snoop's been on the show
before quite a few people, actually quite a few artists. Leslie,
if you could ask the doctor one thing about Nico
and Jackie's relationship, what would you ask the doctor?

Speaker 9 (10:48):
Oh, this is interesting because I when I look at
Nico and Jackie, I work close to them, like obviously
here at the station, I feel like they have a
great relationship. I don't see any toxicity at.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
All, Like because you're in the other room.

Speaker 9 (11:01):
Maybe maybe that's why, But I mean, I guess maybe
I would ask it.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
We are very polar opposite.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
It's because you're only looking for the toxic out of
the man. You're not looking this way.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Okay, but lets it doesn't have to be a negative thing.
What would you you could ask her, they got to
go there first and you gotta you could ask her like, hey,
do you think it's unhealthy for them to work in
the same place? Do you think that there's some you know,
some potential pitfalls for them working in the same place,
Like you give me that kind of question. That's not
really negative, but you're just asking, you know that, or

(11:33):
what's a way, what's a way that they can make
sure that their relationship doesn't you know, affect their work
or something.

Speaker 9 (11:40):
Yeah, I mean, I guess I would ask like, because
they're they're spending home life, work life, probably like hobby
life together, how can they make sure that they don't
you know, overdo it with seeing each other because at
the end of the day, they still need their own identity,
which I think they're still really good at having important
but we just want to make sure that they don't
become like one tired.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Of each other. A. K that that's a great question.
Was at at all?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
That's not that's good?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Like myself that every day like Diana's identity, right, she's
her identity is mad at me at all times.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
It's blame. So that's her identity.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
Oh yeah, yea, are you going to bring Diana tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Bro, money business, you're not doing all that.

Speaker 6 (12:25):
We don't have all.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
No, Bro, for what Bro, I know it's it is
what it is.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
You accept it.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I've accepted it, Bro, because I've accepted that it.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Is a royal person man, regardless. It's standing right by
his lady.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
Right.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Hey, she hates me.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
I'm right there. Bro, You're don't hate me for till
I'm dead forever. That's all right, figure things out.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
That's gonna be a lot of fun. It should be great.
We have questions, and Jackie and nic I'm sure we'll
have some questions. And more importantly, I hope we learn anything.
It isn't an exercise in in in exposing them in
any kind of way. It's just more Jackie, don't give
me that look. It's really it's good because I mean
it's free therapy. Man, Remember when I need.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Therapy for myself first, Because then, like I don't know,
I don't, okay. I have this thing about like motivational
speakers and like relationship like coach coaches and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
And it may be wrong to think this way, but
like I don't like them. I don't.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
I don't like I don't believe in them, and I
don't like get it, like I don't get Gary Vee
unpopular opinion.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
I hate him.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I love Gary.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
I can't stand people who are very much like.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Positive positive Yeah, like you.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Like it comes off like I have to pay someone
to tell me positive it when I could just read
it like it's.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
A human it's a human experience.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Over your own mind, and that's how you'll get over
the hurdle. Yeah, no, ship, I have to do that, bro, Like,
but like how but he can.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Teach you how. I like David Goggins. Y'all know who
David Goggins is.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
He talks about money.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Would you say it's a dude from White Lotus, right?

Speaker 1 (14:20):
No, David Goggins, man is he.

Speaker 9 (14:22):
He's the one that's like, if you're not going fast enough,
you're a you're a bitch.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
Yeah, okay that.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Walter.

Speaker 7 (14:31):
I get charge people fucking andrin for a seminar, and
I could just tell him, like, if you guys are
not fucking running enough, you're not gonna lose weight, and
then people are gonna be like, oh my god, like
she's so right.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
No, no, no, because you also have to prove that
to people you know what I'm saying and he shows it.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
This is just this is just my opinion. But like
I can't stand motivational speakers. I can't stand relationship gurus
because it's like everyone has problems, so why the fuck
am I gonna take advice from somebody who's positive but
also has problems.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I've noticed that not all, but most or maybe some
so called healers and motivational speakers are mean.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
People are very self centered. That part.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
It was just like it's literally like not.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
All, but I've known a few personally where I knew
who they were before they became this healer, and I'm like, yo,
you're you're a mean person though, or like yo, you're
all about people people.

Speaker 6 (15:31):
Need a license?

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Yeah that's actually no, you don't like you can just
get like a phone and record yourself and post it
on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Sure, yeah, sure, and.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Then you can charge people one hundred and seventy five
dollars to go to the seminar.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
I'll just tell them.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
I saw a meme that said, like, yo, mean girls
are the ones throwing women's self empowerment meetings and events.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
That's you know who. Also, like nurses are the mean
girls in high school.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Nurses.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
Yeah, that's a trend. Anyone who's a nurse was a
mean girl in high school.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Damn is that true? That's crazy? Were you at the comments?
Any nurses drop it in the comments? If that's true.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
All the nurses I know are nice.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Yeah, they nice.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
I worked at the hospital too.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
Yeah, them in high school, so they know where my
catheter is.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
By the way, his name is Walton Goggins.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
I called Walton you're talking about. I know that guy
is too. The money book, the money book. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
I think you're right.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
He's ex marine. She just wants to hear she's right, dog.
You know what I'm saying Jackie.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Tomorrow we are going to open the interview with Jackie
thinks you're full of ship.

Speaker 9 (16:46):
Doctor, right, Yeah, but that's what.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
Her bio says.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
She has a doctor.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
But I'm sure she has met that challenge before in
that tone and that question, or that that reference or
started off.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
With that, because then she's gonna think that I'm the
fucking problem.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
No no, no, no, no, I mean she might take
that anyway.

Speaker 9 (17:07):
Listen, It's okay, have her opinion, we know.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
But yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
I can't like, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Well, here's I'll go into.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
It very like with a very very very open minded
I can't do that because.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Look, we promise we won't say that you hate her
and even though you don't know her in the beginning
of the interview, I know, I'm just kidding. But if
you just promise to kind of take it in and see, just.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Listen, sure, just listen.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
No, I'm open to but if like she starts like
I don't know, I just can't. Like, I trust the
therapist before I trust someone who calls themselves a relationship guru.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
But she's also a therapist.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
It's both.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah, hold on.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Said hold off.

Speaker 8 (17:54):
Yeah, I've seen her stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
She's gone viral. She tells the truth.

Speaker 5 (17:59):
Because then and there's people like what's that food's name?
Who always like.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
No, No, there's a big difference between people.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
I don't know. He asked good questions.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
But is that the one with the really pretty eyes?

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (18:12):
I like him. I like his work.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
He I kind of believe he doesn't yell at you.

Speaker 6 (18:16):
He doesn't like make you feel bad.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
