Speaker 1 (00:28):
Don't play. And I'm naked too.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
You're right, You're right, and I'm thirty percent naked right now,
do your thing.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Man, I hope you celebrated last night the movie.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I have a hangover. You should celebrate it. I drank
my behind a drank.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
I smoked cigars, which you can buy on malloweens dot com.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
We chose him, yes, sir, nah yo, Man, you guys
did it with him. Congratulations.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I saw. Thank you brother.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
It's a great movie.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Thank you brother.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
It's crazy, right, fucking crazy Marlin, Like there's blood everywhere.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
It's crazy. But I like the you know, I like
the wind up of it all.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
It was like tension, tension, tension, tension, and then you
just let them off the hook and like in that
last scene. That's how I felt the entire movie. Like
somebody let me off the hook and I could just
go wild.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Nah, see Martin, let me tell you something. I drove
home after the movie in silence. I drove home in silence,
trying to process, and for trying to process, excuse me
what I just saw. I'm in the car processing exactly
what I saw, and I thought to myself, I have
to see it again.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
That's a movie I just got to see again.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
I gotta see with some people and we gotta we
gotta have a conversation I got.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I want to see it again too.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
That's my second time seeing it, and I want to
see the third and the fourth because I'm still breaking
down things and that's in the movie and it's funny.
I Requiem for a Dream was a great movie, but
I only wanted to see that one time because it
was a roller coaster ride that went up and then
went down the hell and never returned.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
This one takes his time going up, gets to the top, it.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Smashes down and right before you hit the ground, it
takes you on twists and turns, and just when you're
about to get it off, it goes now, let's do
this backward, and you're like, as soon as you get
off the ride, You're like, I don't, I don't, I
don't know how I feel. I know that was scary.
I'm a surprise that I'm alive, but I want to
do it again. It's traumatizing in the most respectful way.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Good.

Speaker 5 (02:39):
Yeah, but that's how you know like you've made such
a great movie. Was when people want to keep on
like dissecting it and keep on watching it over and
over it.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, that happened with us on White Chicks.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Critics didn't understand that we were way ahead of our time.
And I'd say the critics don't do a great job.
They do a fantastic job.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
They critics. The job is to critique, but.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Sometimes they're used to getting things the way that they're
used to.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And I think innovators give you something different.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
And I think Justin Tipping is an innovator, and I
think this movie is just different.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Hey, Marlon, how much room did the director Justin Tipping
give you to improv? Because a lot of that was
Marlon Wayne's humor.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, he let me live, he let me off the
off the chain, he let me go, and I was
able to, I think bring my best performance in the
best movie.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yo.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
So when when little cam is watching you, I don't
want to give away too much, but is that is
your bone sticking out of your your body?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Bone sticking out of my leg? And was like, that's
a real man. And he came back from that and
still one eight eight rings. So you got to respect
guys like that, that tenacity. I feel like there's some
little kid watching me right now. I want to be
like Marlon Wayans and I'm going, no, you don't because

(04:01):
you don't want to do this work. If you want
to do this work, you want to give up your
life to try and accomplish something that may never be
given to you.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Your luck. Luck, But it takes a lot of work.
Cruise you see how it work. I don't. I don't.
I don't stop, Like not just with the acting, but
with the writing. I got. I'm doing scary movies six
next in two weeks.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I started filming that, and then I'm about to film
my next special in November.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Like bro, I'm just I'm just in this in this
zone and this is what I do.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
It's not everybody else is like how do you do it?
How do you do seven talk shows? The other day,
I'm like, because I'm a monster.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I'm a bee. That's what I do.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
You also, you know, but you also move. What is
he doing?

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I'm putting some things on my eyes because I don't
look like Hell, you know, I looked at your bottom
of your eyes.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I was like, I don't want those. Why are you
guys in a weird studio while you in a studios?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
You well, Garcia is in the main studio and we're
off in another studio.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Why what are you doing in a another studio?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Tell me it'll be feedback and it'll be that's the
whole thing. Like, we'll get feedback and it's a hot mess. Hey,
what the fuck.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Are you doing? Like, man, I go on walks with
this in my neighborhood and that's exact. I swear to you,
and that's what everybody calls me. And a plug. Man,
you got a show? I got you? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Hey, him is like kill or be killed? Right, Do
I got that right?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Yeah? It's what are you willing to sacrifice? Man?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
It's it's you know, it's success in a nutshell? What
are you willing to sacrifice? And I love the message.
It's everything but my integrity mm hmmm. And I think
that every artist or every person male female in this
industry or any industry. There's always somebody that wants to

(05:59):
give you something for something, and I never subscribe to
that mentality because my brother taught me you don't have
to give up nothing. You just go be super creative
and if that opportunity isn't worth your soul, you can
create that opportunity. It may take you longer, we'll take

(06:19):
the long way. And I've always done that. Necessarily, I
was able to maintain my goodness. I've always been a
good dude. I never want to change that.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Never.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Nah, I don't let nothing change your heart. Marlin.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Seriously, you mentioned that you're gonna start filming in two
weeks for Scary Movie six. Is it hard to get
through the filming process because everybody's so like fucking hilarious.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
That but we all are Ferros so as hilarious as
it is, I'm not gonna laugh until after the take
is done because I don't want to mess up the genius.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
So I like to hold my life.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
But I like my goal, like if I'm gonna see
it when my brother's seng, I want to make them life.
Because Sean's like Harvey Corman who was an actor that
worked with h on the Caraburnet Show with Tim Conway
back in the day. I know I'm aging myself, but
if you watch the two of those guys work, Tim
Conway only wanted to make him break, and it's so

(07:20):
funny to watch because when he breaks, the audience breaks harder.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
So that's my goal. You want to break your co stars?

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Nah yo Moran for that for this performance.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
For him thirty five years in the business right and
of course coming from a family with such talent and
generational talent, bro.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Like, did you pull? Did you pull from that?

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:45):
I pulled some of the abusive Negroes and the Wayne family.
I know I knew hazing me. That was all the
frustration that I had being hated, But honestly, I know
my brothers loved me. It was done with love, and
I took an extracted all the hate from that. Like
what if my brothers was insecure? What if my mentors

(08:07):
didn't want the best for me? And that's what I
put into Isaiah And I think, you know, when I
look at the performers, it's so textured, it's untethered, and
it's crazy, and I have credit justin tipping. Who's the
director to allow me to bring all that I had
to this role?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Hey, Marlon, I know you're moving.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
You talked about the seven, you know, different talk shows
in one day, and so we number one appreciate your time.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
But are you going to pop out.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
At some theaters this weekend and like kind of hide
in the theater and watch people's reaction to the movie.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
You know, normally I would, but I'm tired. I'm so tired.
I met.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
But even then, I know I'll catch the wave on
Thursday or Friday, and I will definitely go check some
people out, because you know, listen, it's unlike stand up, right,
I do stand up comedy, which I'm.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Doing in Vegas. Where am I at? Reno? And Reno? Yeah?
Those are three where places by the way. Okay, well
you've got the date.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yes, you're in Reno coming up very soon.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
And when I don't know, all we know is Reno too.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
I'm also Laughlin, and I'm in San Jose next weekend,
so Marlon works, I think next week or the weekend
after I'm in Reno.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
I mean, I'm in I don't even know where I'm at.
I got it.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Laughlin on November fourth boom.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
And then when I'm i on a reno.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
That went I don't see in my text she.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Made something up when San Jose, I have no idea.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
Yeah, this is you.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Get off your phone. There's an interesting conversation going.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
On looking up your reno.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Okay yo, I'm like, jen Z, get off your phone.
Damn kids, get off your phone. You're talking to an
old black man. This has been around doing fef thirty
five years.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'm looking at your shows.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Him is out on Friday. It's phenomenal again. Blood everywhere.
It's intense.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
From the beginning, you know, there was there was some
familiar faces friends of the show that I saw in
him as well.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Shout out to down Benjamin and grow up.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Dad business thing.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah he did, man, he really did.

Speaker 5 (10:35):
September twenty sixth by the way.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Twenty six twenty nine got pull up from seeing live. Yeah,
I'm seeing him live. That's right, that's right, William like
the best creative years of my life. Now it really
feels I feel so good.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
That's nice. I feel like this is what I work
to be in all these years was practice, and now
I get to go execute the greatest version of Marlon
Wayans and in the world just to see me.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
No, chasing greatness. Chasing greatness is what we're doing.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
That's what's crazy, because I've been famous and around and
relevant for thirty five years and that's really hard to accomplish.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
I'm really grateful to my very loyal fan base.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
And everybody when they see me, they're like, no, because
they feel like they know me, because you kind of do,
because I grew up in your living rooms, where I
grew up in the theaters with you. But my best
work is now.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Yeah. I mean, you're obviously extremely talented man and Neil
straight up, but you're right. People do feel like they
know you and we grew up with you and we
want to see you when.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Thank you, brother, and I want to see you, and
that's why I put you on stage and you failed me.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
But my point is I'm glad I give you the
opportunity to bomb.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
We did a great minute in forty two seconds, and
thank God for Fluffy, thank God for fucking Hey. Let
me ask you. I'll be ready next time. No, speaking
of Fluffy, what's your boy's name?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
The other one where see what corner is he sucking
meet on?

Speaker 2 (12:13):
He's throwing a rave. Actually he's throwing a rave.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Sounds like fluffing. Only man with breast with through the rags.
Did he get rid of his breast?

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:24):
He did. For his job back No, no, no, no,
he's at Apple Music.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
He's fine. Oh he upgraded. Damn.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Yeah, now I gotta.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
I don't want to meet him again now in a
more powerful position.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
I want him to fail in life. I want him.
I want him be downtown like I'll suck your meat.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
I mean, there's still time for that, Marlin.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
There's still time.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
You never know, so we could possibility low test. We'll
get some rest, Marlin, thank you for your time.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
