We're here. CC's officially out, That deluxe version is out.
It sounds crazy.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Congratulations, Thank you so much. I'm so pumped up, so
happy to be here. It's a special time. You know,
my fans have called me Cc over the years. It's
my nickname, so it feels very personal when someone calls
you by your nickname.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
That's right, And I'm.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Just grateful to be sitting here literally twenty one years later.
This is my first album, Goodies with the same excitement,
same passion, same joy in my heart and also most importantly,
the same passion and enjoy for my fans, you know,
So this is an exciting time. I can be more proud.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I remember that start. I remember I was in Vegas
doing radio. In Vegas. You pulled up in a white
promo van with the label Repeah and it's just you
and it's like seven o'clock at night. Yeah, you know,
you got the to the back crazy and it's just like, yeah,
I got a song out. I'm excited, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
What I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yeah, baby, yeah, so good.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
So much has happened since man, so much good? Right?

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yeah? Man, God is good.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I was just saying to Russ I actually posted up
like it's probably a few months ago, and I was like, babe, man,
you know, sometimes you can have an abundance of good things,
which is amazing, but it still can be overwhelming.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
And then I was like wait, wait, he's like you
feel stressed out? Like no.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I was like, I don't feel stressed out because that's
too heavy, Like that's way. And he was like, oh no,
you ain't stressed out. You blessed out.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
And I was like, yeah, blessed out, bar yeah, bar.
I had to post about it. It was real.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
It hit me, that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
It made me feel something that I needed to feel. So, man,
I feel blessed out.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Did somebody drill a hole in this bottle for you
to put a straw in?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Oh? Yeah, there's a professional hole puncher thing that she
found that you can put in the top of the
bottle and you literally poke it in there and then
it makes a hole.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Okay, not gonna lie. That's kind of hood IU with it.
I like it.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
When I was in school, we just used the pencils
and we just did that.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Yeh.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
So why uh why start with the song? Made it
to kick off the album.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah, I made it as you know, it really speaks
to my journey.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Yeah, you know, I was thinking about little things like
you know, we don't pay the bills late now, you know,
thinking about just how blessed I am, and just speaking
life to the journey.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
You know, it's been.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
It's been a journey, but a great one even like
with the obviously the highs, but even the lows, like
it's all amounted to something great. You know when I
say in the hook, you know I've been paper chasing,
been hustling, been on my grind. You know, see many
places or place some faces, made many changes. You know,
sometimes you have to make change along the way. Changes

(03:00):
actually a good thing, you know, and so I would
encourage anyone to embrace change is sometimes it's necessary. And
so this song just kind of speaks to like my journey.
And you know, normally CC likes the Turned Party about
the Gate so it's normally a tempo approach, but this
just felt like the best way to set it off
for me to set the tone, you know, for the

(03:21):
CC project, like in my journey. So yeah, I love
that song.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
I feel that like with made it, especially like you
There's it's interesting to see that it's now being the
song was made because I feel like you've probably had
so many I've made it moments. Do you remember like
your first I've made it moment?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah, riding in the car in Atlanta at a drive
through after rehearsals hearing my song Goodies come on the
radio for the.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
First time day. That was legendary, right, that was.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Like I started tearing up. I said, oh my gosh,
because I'm like.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
I noticed, like when I'm writing the card and listening
to songs on the RADI I'm like, that's.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
My song on the radio.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Yeah, I was like, oh my gosh. And they were
hiving up Helena you know, Seeerra blah blah blah, and
I'm like, oh my goa. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was
pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
She from out here, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
It was. The love was like really big.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Now there's something to hear. There's still something about hearing
your music on the radio right and getting getting presented
to an audience right, and even a shout out. The
power of a shoutout is still so major.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
It's huge.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
You don't take those for granted, you know, and your baby,
you know, to get all that love like that, you know,
it's like, oh okay, they're rocking with me.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
You know.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Shout outs never get old.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Nah never. Yeah. Shout out to Sierra and he on
a cruise show, crazy bro, thanks so dance with me.
I love the song of the video with Tiger outside
of Randy's Donuts and Nigga Wood.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah, that's iconic, special location. Shout out to Tiger because
he's just amazing. Like I feel like he always slides
on a beach so like wait, he's so like nice
with it, Like it's just it's like this thing that
he does, it's his pocket. He was a perfect person
from my perspective to be on this record with me.
And shout out to Russell Westbrook as well for coming

(05:12):
to rock rock rock with his girl you know with me. Yeah,
you know it's he always like goes viral, like you know,
you see him jameral on the sidelines on the court,
like you know before in his warm ups and so
I'm like, man, it'd be amazing to sauce it up
one time with him because he just gets dance like
to me, he gets the pocket. So I asked my

(05:33):
Russ to help me find that Russ. Yeah, they linked
up and then Russ came to join me. And it's
just I'm in my West Coast bag. Y'all know, I'm
from Atlanta, but I wanted to like get into the
wave and the sauce here and I'm walking and everything
in the gale.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
So much love.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I dig it A donut il donut box legendary, legendary
is so huge. It was amazing. I had the I
did the classic. I had my first of all was
gifted all these amazing donuts, but I had the big classic,
like glazed donut. Yeah, I'm like kind of simple. My

(06:14):
daughter was like loving the box. It was crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
You come home with that box. It's legendary.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Yeah. She actually was the one baby that was here
with me. She flew to LA with me for that
week and so she was on set with me and everything,
and she was like, mom.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
She's making sure everyone had donuts. That was her thing.
You donuts, you get some donuts. You know, she was
really cute.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
She walks around singing your music.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
She does.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Yeah, yeah, that's too much going on going on. That
should not be the song choice. Let me tell y'all something.
I don't know how because I've never played the song,
nor have I played the video for Ecstasy for this girl,
And y'all know it's my newest song and or not newest,
but you know, on the on the project, and she

(06:57):
knows my body.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I'm like, wait, what what.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
She's thinking right now? She's singing someone his hook? I'm
like a hold up, like Lucisi be tapped in. She
figures it out some way. You know. It's sweet because
you know that's exactly it. You know, I know how
much she looks up to me. You know how much
she loves me, And that's a deep love. When you
see a young, precious girl that you were part of

(07:22):
creating but also admires you so much that they want
to emulate you, like that is powerful. It's really deep,
Like I can't even explain it.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
It's just like wow, Like I.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Feel so like responsible for my baby girl to like
be everything she wants to be.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
You know, my baby girls.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
I have two girls and all of our kids, you know,
but it's like that's a different kind of love from
a kid's perspective. It's used to like one of my
mom's lipstick. I used to want to do things like her.
I'm also Daddy's girls. I looked up to him too.
I know what that felt like as a child. It
is like my safe place, you know. So I know
when she looks at me, she sees love. Mommy's got me,

(08:02):
Mommy's got it. Yeah, it's sweet.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Her first line of defense, Yeah, is mommy right? And
you're right. There is that pressure. You can't mess that up.
You really can't.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I treat it. It's so precious.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
You have to be very gentle. I have two boys.
They're currently kicking my ass.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Oh my gosh. How old are they?

Speaker 2 (08:20):
They're eight and four.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
That's a good agent.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
I got a five five year old son, yeah, and
features eleven. So when is five? Features eleven? But I
have When who's five and.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Cen is eight.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
But you it's a boy and a girl, but that
age is them. Boys were thinking everything is w w E.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Like he cut the door. They're like, hey dad, I'm like, oh,
my gosh, what is wrong with you? Back for a second,
like wait what, Like, yeah, what the world? What is
wrong with y'all?

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Everything?

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Oh my gosh? Boys?

Speaker 2 (09:01):
And the eleven year old thinks he's eighteen, right, Oh, he.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Thinks he's grown.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
And you know what, like pretty much nothing I do
is cool right now.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
It's really weird.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
It's like he was trying to tell me, you know,
how to dance. I'm like, Future, do you know yo?

Speaker 6 (09:16):
Mammy?

Speaker 3 (09:16):
You know boy, you're talking to mom. That's not how
you do that day. I'm like, we were doing a
TikTok He's telling me to do the part over. I'm like,
you don't lost your mind? And then I had to
tell him to do this footwork thing and I'm like, Future,
trust me. Didn't you just trust me one time? And
then he listened to me and he did the footwork
with sauce. I'm like, what I'm trying to tell you.
But he's in that phase where it's kind of like,

(09:37):
I mean, I'm semi cool. It's all about this the guys.
It's the voices.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
How many how many TikTok trends are you doing with
the kids?

Speaker 4 (09:45):
We do a good bit.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
You know, we did this really fun one. I don't
remember the song. We just did one recently. We were
in like a play place for kids. We have like
the jumpy the trampoline and like arcades, and we were
over there by the arcades, like having fun. But we
get we try to do them, like, you know, as
much as we can. I don't get to do them
too crazy, but future we keep put me up on

(10:07):
game like and c C two. You know, there's this
app called Zigazoo and it's for kids. It's like the
the Instagram slash TikTok for kids and it's like specifically
for that community.

Speaker 4 (10:20):
It's more safe. Yeah, it's really cool.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
So she like, well, you know, tell me the things
to do too, Like, mom, can we do this one?

Speaker 4 (10:27):
May be keeping me up on the game, right, it's cute.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
It's good. Yeah. They think they think they're cooler than you,
but it's all good.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Yeah, yeah, it's all right. When you find.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Out how did BRB come about?

Speaker 3 (10:42):
B r B all my super feel good you know
that song, It was honestly just super easy when when
we were creating the record, and I don't know, I
just love that it kind of has a bit of
that Jersey kind of right, be right, it's kind of

(11:02):
like that similar even when I had like on level
up a little bit for me and there's a drum.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Pattern and I just honestly, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
It just came super easy and organic, and it's a
super It was one of my favorite songs one, yeah,
one of my favorite songs.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah, that's one of those just yeah, you got to
put it on ten and just just let it ride.

Speaker 6 (11:23):
And now working with Jazzy Fae because CEC is like
such an important album and he was also a part
of like, you know, the earlier years. How cool is
it like reconnecting It.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Was amazing because you know, Jazzy that that was like
the beginning for me.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
You know, he was a big part of that kick
off and it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Yeah, yeah, but it's amazing because you know, when you
have such a great chemistry with someone, it's just all
it's organ When you link up again, you know, it's
just like the old times.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
And it's been almost eighteen years.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Since we've worked together. Wow, you know, and so it
was a special moment. It's super nostalgic. And then to
have Lotto join us super a town. Love you know,
I'm so happy that we made it work, you know,
because the vibes were just they were really sweet.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
It has you even cherish those moments working together now
even more because you're like, Okay, well now we don't
know when the next time is like that we're going
to work together because you had that eighteen year gap,
so you just cherish it a little bit more.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
It's just special to get back together, you know. It's
just it's the power of knowing what we created, no
matter what, will always be you know, and history and time.
You know, music marks time, you know often, so you know,
it's just amazing when you can get together and you know,
it's clearly love at the base. It's love that's in

(12:55):
the mix, which allows us to just be like so
easy and so fun, so smooth, yeah, super feel good.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
So this right here?

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Yeah yeah, that's right here. Yeah, low key as well
as it was crazy right you know, I had that
Uncle Luke that podcast just sets it off and sets
the tone. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Shout out to my boy Jasper on that record as well.

Speaker 4 (13:18):
You know, uh yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
Just it was one of those things where it's like
it's slow, but it still makes you want to move
and groove, and it's so much bass in the record.
It hits hard, but it's also sexy and melodically. I
just I was having fun when I was writing that record.
By the way, again I mentioned Jasper. He produced that
also JR wrote them. I had JR rod him coming
on the drums a little bit too, but it started

(13:41):
with me. Jasper and my friend Tron also joined me
on the writing.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
But I've worked with.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Jasper on every album I've created, which I love. I've
noticed was the first time I recorded a song. He
was the person in the room when I was fourteen
years old.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Yeah, I was in a group when I was for
in this song. He's one of my closest friends. So
it's just great history. So I always make sure he's
on a project. I always call him up, Jaspel, what
you think about this?

Speaker 2 (14:10):
You know?

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Or can you help me with this?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah? And y'all get to it. Yeah, how we roll
with Chris brown A It's crazy another.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
One that that's a special record because I always wanted
to well. Chris and I actually had done a song
together years ago called Turntables. It was on my album,
My Fantasy Right album. I want to say it was,
but we never shot a video to it, so it
was my mission to make sure we shot a visual,
like and then he and I were also going to
perform together, and obviously that those plans had changed prior,

(14:38):
like would stuff beyond our control, But we always talked about,
like doing an actual visual, and so it's one of
my favorite videos. It's almost platinum by the way, so
keeps streaming, guys. But I'm like, I don't know, I'm
so happy we were able to make that happen. I'm
so proud of that song too. It's super feel good,

(15:00):
super wavy.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah it is yeah, good vibe, Yeah, sounds good.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Yeah, superfiel good for sure.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Baby Sinco on the way.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
He's coming to hat with that question. Listen, we got
time for baby Cinco. Listen. Whatever baby single wants to come,
baby singo will come. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
I love being a mom, so I'm not going to
be like, no, we're not going to do that. It's
just whenever God says.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
Calm down, you know. But it's sweet though. I like
that He's like, you know, HOI like that.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Got to be that's right, that's your man.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
How important is that for you to to like find
that partner because I feel like that, Like it's so
hard for people now to just find someone that is
so on them about them, like say, dating is a joke, right,
Like I mean there's even apps with like crazy tee
apps about like you know, warning women about men and
vice versa. Crazy, Like what makes your relationship just so

(16:10):
strong in your opinion?

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Well, you guys know, I'm spiritual, so we always say
having God and Jesus at the center, you know, for
us is important. I think being we call it being
equally yoked. You know, we're we're in line spiritually. We're
in line on the things that we want to accomplish
in our lives. We're aligned on the effort that we
want to put into our love. We both want this
love the same, so we both you know, give her

(16:33):
all communication rules in nation they say, we're really begun
communicating over communicating during our best too.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
And we love our.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Date nights too. You know, we have date nights. We
have a date night every Friday, and if the timing
is off because of the schedule, we still we pick
another day. And you know, we just moved to New
York for football, so luckily we're able.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
To there's a lot of restaurants.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
We've been having a yes, yes, we've been having a
lot more date nights than normal, which has been amazing.
And the food is so good, like there's so many options.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
We both can cook.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
We don't really get to cook like that because we're
just our lives are just so you know, it was
just rolling, but well, we do have moments where we
do it together.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
We made sushi together.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
You know.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
He surprised me for one of our anniversaries, and he
surprised me with the chef Morimoto. We were in Japan
and yep, and we were sitting down in this room
and it was actually a hotel room and they had
like this cool like panel, this door panel where you
open up in this kitchen and he's like rushing me
to be on point for dinner, right, and and he

(17:42):
was kind of through.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
He's always like come on, babe, yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
So you know, it was our anniversary night in particular,
and we sit down and then the lady who's there
to help Chef Morimoto opens up the thing and he
goes like, you know, surprised, and I was like, oh
my gosh, like and so he got to teach us
how to make sushi too, and how to do it properly,
which was cool. So there's stuff like that. We love

(18:13):
making food together.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
What about for us regular people?

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Listen?

Speaker 3 (18:21):
US can make some mean ribs and I can make
some I can make mac and cheese. We like doing
that stuff to love you and cheese.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
He does want to try your macan? Okay, I want
to try.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
We got to make sure you get some of the
C C mac and cheese.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
But I heard that you even bring like cards to
a date. I do you do? I love I've never played.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
No, you haven't.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
They've never played.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
You are kidding me? You guys should have told me
this before I came in.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Cars.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
I would have pulled up with the cars. I have many,
many Uno cars, but they're probably not my purse.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
I'm like a package. But it's like good vibe cars
to a date is so good? Yeah, because you know
it's competitive. Yes, you get, but it's bad if you
don't win. No, I mean it depends on like what
the stakes are like are we you know, like sometimes
we'll like make up stuff like you know, I don't

(19:20):
have you've ever done a money pool like me and
my friends. I don't really like doing money bets and
stuff like that. But I do like playing baccarat im sidebar.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
But no, it does with my kids.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
It gets intense because kids don't know how to really
manage the feelings. So when be like I'm not playing
no more like that, you know, like, I'm like, wait, no, no,
you cannot do that. We are not going to be bad.
Have basket wartsmanship.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Get back.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
I mean like, I'm like, get back over here like
trouble because it's principle. I'm like, you can't be getting
mac off you losing Uno like that. But the kids
will do that, so it's good with them.

Speaker 5 (19:56):
I need to know the rules in your house for Uno.
Then can you stack up plus four?

Speaker 4 (20:01):
We sometimes grant that. Okay, okay, you.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
If you go about no, you have to say you
have to commit up top that that's the plan.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
Yeah, you can.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Top.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
In the beginning.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
You have to be like, this is the rule. You
can do plus pluses on top. You can do plus two,
you can do plus four. You have to say that.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
You have to claric also, yeah, but it's not that crazy.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
I don't know, I'm already turned off.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
He said, yeah, yeah, it's fire.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
But when you play the game, you'll understand why. It
just makes it more fun sometimes, or like with you know,
Wild like the new one where there's like the blank cars,
like they're kind of annoying, but you be reckless of
what they trying to make you do. But we have
to declare you can only make someone draw ten cars
or less, not twenty cars, because the kids would be like,

(20:50):
so you need to draw twenty cars, Like twenty cars,
that's just like like what we're doing. So you let
them off the top. The rule is no more than ten.
So we have certain things that we and is.

Speaker 5 (21:04):
The rule that you have to put Like if you
have two cards left, you have to put the card
down before yelling Uno.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Yes, you have to. You have to yell as soon
as you put it down.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
If you get caught before you like after you put
the card down and you don't say it, you have
to draw two cards because I'll.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
Try and say, you know, while they're putting the card.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
You do a false you know you drop.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
Yeah, it sounds like this is like someone's throwing hands
at the end of.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
The It's good, is there is there?

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Love Island is on?

Speaker 4 (21:36):
No, I'm watching Love is because it returned.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
Yeah, a lot going on on that I haven't. I'm
a little behind. So we're in like season six and
like watching it, yeah, because we have to pace it
with the schedules and stuff like that, and we kind
of a rule like don't we can't watch shows without
each other.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Actually dragged him with me to watch this show.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
He just entertains me.

Speaker 3 (21:58):
He'll watch it with me and be cracking up with me.
I'd be like, babe, what you think will happen? He'd
be like, I think this one will hook up with
this one, and he'd be right to you. I'm like, dang,
you know, we both be guessing, like who's going to
do what?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
You know?

Speaker 4 (22:09):
I told you that was always going to happen.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
You know.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
The union just went down. Jackie was it crazy? She
wasn't too excited about it, Like.

Speaker 5 (22:16):
I just needed more questions questions answered. I need. I
need reunions to come back, like love and hip hop
reunions yea yeah, and reunions aren't like that anymore.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
And I need those backs. We need it back. She wants,
she needs some answers.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
If you're listening, answer, Jackie needs answers all that you
and all they needed.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
You want Jerry Springer. That was crazy. It's actually going
to be a reboot Jackie Springers.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (22:46):
So we're going to get to see Bad Bunny and
concert at all. I know you mentioned you would love
to collect.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
I really want to see Bad Money about your.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Amazing I really want to go to I may not
be able to go because football is about the start,
and plus I'm like doing all my promo stuff, but
I think his residency runs for a little time.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
I would like to make it down there if I can.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
So dope, he mentioned New York. So when when when
Russell gets traded, right, what does that mean for you
and the family. It's got to mean chaos.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
Well, you know it's some get up and move right. Yeah,
but you know it's like built for it, you know,
which is cool.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
You know, we he had really amazing years in Seattle,
you know, and so I think I would say, you know,
from that journey and then and and forward, you know,
we're fortunately built for like traveling, and we traveled in
general too, you know. Yeah, you know, it's not an
unfamiliar thing to be able to, you know, be on

(23:43):
different live in different parts of the world, or to
travel to different places. I mean, I was a military baby,
so I I lived in Germany. I was born in
Fort Hooe, Texas. But I'm from Atlanta. But I lived
in Germany. I lived in Monterey, California. I had to
move around, And I think that is something about that
experience that gave me a lot of resilience and allowed
me to really adjust no matter.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Where I was.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
So I love that our kids get to experience that
same thing. And we're excited for us. Like I'm excited
for him, you know, I'm praying for it to be
the best one yet for him. And you know, he's special,
you know, So I'm pumped. And New York is a
special place.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
The people are so like it's.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
So much culture, you know, so much creativity being an artist,
being an entertainer. It's like big for me, you know,
because there's so much access to things that I do
every day that I would need or like want to,
you know, experiment with.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
It's all there.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
It's like the mecha of like all like cool things
for artists and creatives, you know.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Yeah, have you and Russell set up any friends recently?

Speaker 3 (24:51):
Recently? No, recently? We even blessed to connect people.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Who's the last couple of you guys connected.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Well, that was KENNERMANI are you talking about Coco and Donovan?
I don't know, Well, no, because you know Dky's the
bro and obviously Normani's assists. But because someone was saying that,
you know, people have been asked me to we connect
Donovan and Coco and we didn't connect them. No, we
did not connect them either. It was Russ and Donovan

(25:21):
had linked up. You know, the boys were doing their
thing and Russ knew Donovan was going to propose to
Coco for some time, which is really sweet and love
that the fellas like did their own thing, and you know,
he was fortunate enough to be a part of helping
Donovan set the environment up or have the setting perfect

(25:41):
for Coco because what people some I don't know sometimes
I think people when you get to know Rush, you
know this. But he's obviously amazing go on the field,
but off the field, he has a really creative mind.
But most importantly, he just loves to serve, Like he
loves to like to give and he loves we both
love love, and he loves to like support any opportunity

(26:03):
where it involves love for someone. So he got the
great opportunity. He created a company called West East Lux
and it's like to create luxury experiences for people, and
so that was kind of one of his like passions, like,
and so the Fellas did their thing. The proposal was stunning,
and you know, and now those two are engaged and

(26:24):
we couldn't be more happy for them.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
It's so cool, beautiful. Yeah, wow, yeah, tears.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
Yeah, big cheers. I'm happy for them.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
What's rhymes is crazy to Love God.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
I love that song. One of my favorite songs, bust
to shout out to bus a bus Like. I've always
wanted to do a song with him, and we weren't
tour together, and when he did his verse, he's like,
oh usually, oh god, you you know his like super
thick voice, you know. And to in Love is one
of my favorite songs too. It's a slower song but
super sweet and a lot. And we also have the

(26:57):
because I'm with the too and that baby because I'm.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
With the song from Trick Daddy.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
I'm mixing up my song with Trick Daddy songs, but
we use a little bit of that sample in that record,
and so.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
That was a great blend.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Yeah, super cool.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Winning with Freda big yeah, big Freda.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
She is Freda is amazing. You know.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Freda always brings you know the best energy and you
know winning, you know.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
Like I said, being blessed out, We stressed out. We
blessed out.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
You win and when and when and when and when
and win it. Yeah, I love that song is of
my favorites.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
We got a movie coming out November seventh.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Yes, yeah, really quickly, Chew. I wanted before we jumped
to the movie. I got a shout at diamond platinums
as well. I think we talked about Tiger. Yeah, shouts
the diamond platinums. She's from Tanzania on the deluxe album
my song Low, which a video is coming very soon
and I'm.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
So excited about it.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Just again, thankful for all the artists that came to
join me on this project. So I just want to
say that. But it yeah, so good. But yes, Sarah's
Oil November seven. It's a big day me and Russell.
We have our wynt You production company and we want
to inspire, you know, through storytelling through film, and this

(28:10):
is our first big feature moment with Amazon Studios and
Sarah's Oil. Sarah was a smart, young black girl, with
great confidence and faith, belief, hope, bravery. You know, she
really she was amazing. She became one of America's first

(28:31):
black millionaires at just eleven years old, and she understood
the value what her family was entitled to, and she
fought for it, and so it's just an amazing story.

Speaker 5 (28:42):
I saw the trailer, right, I love going to the movies.
When I saw the trailer, I was just like, this
is November seventh.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
This is a big day.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
That's right, collab. We got ten to one. Yeah, a
lot going on.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
A lot of exciting stuff. I'm really really proud.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Yeah, you should be be moving.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
I'm like, ceece, you gotta sit down. It's a little bit,
but you know what, honestly, I'm having so much fun
right now. I feel so blessed and I'm enjoying everything
right now.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
You should, yeah, enjoy New York as well.

Speaker 4 (29:13):

Speaker 2 (29:14):
