thinking about just how blessed I am, and just speaking
life to the journey.

It's been a journey, but a great one even like
with the obviously the highs, but even the lows, like
it's all amounted to something great. You know when I
say in the hook, you know I've been paper chasing,
been hustling, been on my grind. You know, see many

sometimes you have to make change along the way. Changes

actually a good thing, you know, and so I would
encourage anyone to embrace change is sometimes it's necessary. And
so this song just kind of speaks to like my journey.
And you know, normally CC likes the Turned Party about
the Gate so it's normally a tempo approach, but this
just felt like the best way to set it off

We do a good bit.

in like a play place for kids. We have like
the jumpy the trampoline and like arcades, and we were
over there by the arcades, like having fun. But we
get we try to do them, like, you know, as
much as we can. I don't get to do them
too crazy, but future we keep put me up on

app called Zigazoo and it's for kids. It's like the
the Instagram slash TikTok for kids and it's like specifically
for that community.

You know, he was a big part of that kick
off and it's amazing.

have such a great chemistry with someone, it's just all
it's organ When you link up again, you know, it's
just like the old times.

And it's been almost eighteen years.

Since we've worked together. Wow, you know, and so it
was a special moment. It's super nostalgic. And then to
have Lotto join us super a town. Love you know,
I'm so happy that we made it work, you know,
because the vibes were just they were really sweet.

It has you even cherish those moments working together now
even more because you're like, Okay, well now we don't

matter what, will always be you know, and history and time.

it's just great history. So I always make sure he's

to well. Chris and I actually had done a song
together years ago called Turntables. It was on my album,
My Fantasy Right album. I want to say it was,
but we never shot a video to it, so it
was my mission to make sure we shot a visual,
like and then he and I were also going to
perform together, and obviously that those plans had changed prior,

like would stuff beyond our control, But we always talked about,
like doing an actual visual, and so it's one of
my favorite videos. It's almost platinum by the way, so

Well, you guys know, I'm spiritual, so we always say
having God and Jesus at the center, you know, for
us is important. I think being we call it being
equally yoked. You know, we're we're in line spiritually. We're
in line on the things that we want to accomplish
in our lives. We're aligned on the effort that we
want to put into our love. We both want this
love the same, so we both you know, give her

communicating over communicating during our best too.

Date nights too. You know, we have date nights. We
have a date night every Friday, and if the timing

York for football, so luckily we're able.

We've been having a yes, yes, we've been having a
lot more date nights than normal, which has been amazing.

just rolling, but well, we do have moments where we
do it together.

He surprised me for one of our anniversaries, and he
surprised me with the chef Morimoto. We were in Japan
and yep, and we were sitting down in this room

to be on point for dinner, right, and and he

was kind of through.

He's always like come on, babe, yeah yeah.

So you know, it was our anniversary night in particular,
and we sit down and then the lady who's there
to help Chef Morimoto opens up the thing and he
goes like, you know, surprised, and I was like, oh
my gosh, like and so he got to teach us
how to make sushi too, and how to do it properly,
which was cool. So there's stuff like that. We love

making food together.

different live in different parts of the world, or to
travel to different places. I mean, I was a military baby,
so I I lived in Germany. I was born in

in Germany. I lived in Monterey, California. I had to
move around, And I think that is something about that
experience that gave me a lot of resilience and allowed
me to really adjust no matter.

I think people when you get to know Rush, you
know this. But he's obviously amazing go on the field,
but off the field, he has a really creative mind.
But most importantly, he just loves to serve, Like he

where it involves love for someone. So he got the
great opportunity. He created a company called West East Lux
and it's like to create luxury experiences for people, and
so that was kind of one of his like passions, like,

us is important. I think being we call it being
equally yoked. You know, we're we're in line spiritually. We're
in line on the things that we want to accomplish
in our lives. We're aligned on the effort that we
want to put into our love. We both want this
love the same, so we both you know, give her

He surprised me for one of our anniversaries, and he
surprised me with the chef Morimoto. We were in Japan
and yep, and we were sitting down in this room
and it was actually a hotel room and they had
like this cool like panel, this door panel where you
open up in this kitchen and he's like rushing me
to be on point for dinner, right, and and he

was kind of through.

He's always like come on, babe, yeah yeah.

So you know, it was our anniversary night in particular,
and we sit down and then the lady who's there
to help Chef Morimoto opens up the thing and he
goes like, you know, surprised, and I was like, oh
my gosh, like and so he got to teach us
how to make sushi too, and how to do it properly,
which was cool. So there's stuff like that. We love

making food together.

What about for us regular people?

US can make some mean ribs and I can make
some I can make mac and cheese. We like doing
that stuff to love you and cheese.

But I heard that you even bring like cards to

the stakes are like are we you know, like sometimes

have you've ever done a money pool like me and
my friends. I don't really like doing money bets and
stuff like that. But I do like playing baccarat im sidebar.

But no, it does with my kids.

It gets intense because kids don't know how to really
manage the feelings. So when be like I'm not playing
no more like that, you know, like, I'm like, wait, no, no,
you cannot do that. We are not going to be bad.

I mean like, I'm like, get back over here like
trouble because it's principle. I'm like, you can't be getting
mac off you losing Uno like that. But the kids
will do that, so it's good with them.

We sometimes grant that. Okay, okay, you.

If you go about no, you have to say you

You know, we he had really amazing years in Seattle,
you know, and so I think I would say, you know,
from that journey and then and and forward, you know,
we're fortunately built for like traveling, and we traveled in
general too, you know. Yeah, you know, it's not an
unfamiliar thing to be able to, you know, be on

different live in different parts of the world, or to
travel to different places. I mean, I was a military baby,
so I I lived in Germany. I was born in
Fort Hooe, Texas. But I'm from Atlanta. But I lived
in Germany. I lived in Monterey, California. I had to
move around, And I think that is something about that
experience that gave me a lot of resilience and allowed
me to really adjust no matter.

So I love that our kids get to experience that
same thing. And we're excited for us. Like I'm excited
for him, you know, I'm praying for it to be
the best one yet for him. And you know, he's special,

Donovan and Coco and we didn't connect them. No, we
did not connect them either. It was Russ and Donovan

had linked up. You know, the boys were doing their
thing and Russ knew Donovan was going to propose to
Coco for some time, which is really sweet and love
that the fellas like did their own thing, and you know,
he was fortunate enough to be a part of helping
Donovan set the environment up or have the setting perfect

for Coco because what people some I don't know sometimes
I think people when you get to know Rush, you
know this. But he's obviously amazing go on the field,
but off the field, he has a really creative mind.
But most importantly, he just loves to serve, Like he
loves to like to give and he loves we both
love love, and he loves to like support any opportunity

where it involves love for someone. So he got the
great opportunity. He created a company called West East Lux
and it's like to create luxury experiences for people, and
so that was kind of one of his like passions, like,
and so the Fellas did their thing. The proposal was stunning,
and you know, and now those two are engaged and

we couldn't be more happy for them.

the value what her family was entitled to, and she
fought for it, and so it's just an amazing story.
