on a cruise show, Real ninety two to three Cruise.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Show, After Hours starts now Fresh Daily, Garcia. Let's get
it all right, lots of stuff to talk about.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
We I did have to take a day off of
the podcast because we wanted Jackie to recover. We didn't
feel like it was a good idea to not have
her on, you know, So thanks for your patience everybody
out there. Jackie, your marriage. You feeling better?
Speaker 4 (00:23):
Yep? No wait, hold sorry, okay, I was switching the
camera to Sorr, was switching the camera myself. Yeah, feeling
a lot better, feeling good, and I just feel like
I was actually able to get ready today.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
What'd you have?
Speaker 5 (00:36):
I don't know what I had.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
I had whatever Katia had, probably, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Looking cold or headaches or body ache.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
Bro it was like ears.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
It was.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Nice, but it was just like stuffiness with my nose.
My throat felt weird, like it was just it was
one of those like sore throat situations, just like you
know when you feel like it's just like something just
it's sore.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah, the albums was my voice for a while too,
for a couple of days.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
But I felt fine. I didn't feel sick, but all good.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yeah, and then you weren't able to go to funny Fiesta. No,
you missed out. It was fun.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
You had a good time.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, cruise had a great time.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Cruise.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
You really considered a set Garcia, I would say, well, yes,
because yeah, I mean yeah it was I mean, you
worked on it.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
You could tell it was good. I don't, you know, I.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Don't know if I like, I didn't do like I
didn't go to like open mics or anything.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
No.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
No, but I'm saying that thought out is what I'm saying. Yeah,
it was just crowd work.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
This is stuff what I've been thinking about.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
But you had premises for everything.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah yeah, yah, Yeah, it's just like stuff that I've
been thinking about, man, And like, honestly, I've wanted to
be a comedian since I was like eight years old.
It was like comedian, like being a comedian and radio
since I was a kid. But yeah, I don't know,
it's just stuff that I've been thinking and stuff. And
then you know, we have a three hour drive to
get there to Morongo, so I was just kind of
thinking about stuff and then I'm like, oh, maybe you know,
(02:04):
but my job is to like welcome the crowd, get
everybody going. I don't know why I feel I need
to tell jokes, but it's just something that I felt,
you know. Plus, you know, I was on that tequila,
my g so I was on.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
That bravery juice and we.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Just had a good time and the crowd had a
great time with us and did some crowd work.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
But I appreciated Garcia, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
There was a joke where he goes man ship out
of my kids. Yeah yeah, and then some guy in
the audience was like, that's right, and then what did
you tell them?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
I was like, bro, I'm just kidding, bro, stop hitting
your kids.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
I said, that's your trauma, not there.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
He was so like, he was so happy that like
to hear me that. I like, I beat my kids
me too.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Oh y'all just playing bro, we gentle parents around here.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
What are your thoughts on gentle parenting?
Speaker 2 (02:54):
I mean, we kind of do it, and we kind
of don't, you know what I mean? Sometimes I forget dog,
but like I don't. It doesn't I don't know if
it works. You know, sometimes you you have to like
not necessarily raise your voice, but just have a certain tone.
You know, I'm not into like hitting my kids, but
I am into like grabbing their shoulder, like yo out, bro,
(03:15):
you know what I mean, Because as you guys know,
my kids, they take off on us.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Bro.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
You know.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
See it can attest to that. They take off like
they like they drove themselves there, bro. So it's like yo, bro,
like no, no, no, listen. And sometimes they they forget I'm
in the other room and I hear them talk to
their mom a certain way, and I'm like this, they
probably talking to her when I'm not around. So as
soon as I turned that corner, dude, they turned white.
They're like, dad, hurt us, you know, And I'm like, yo,
(03:40):
I heard that, Bro. Stop talking to your mom like that, yeah,
or catch these hands.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Overall, was a really good night man. Listeners were having
a great time. I'm really disappointed at they didn't get
to get to meet Mondo Mondo Arsal Dutch h. I
was bummed out, man, but in the building and a
lot of other people, to be honest, because I did
a quick opener and I had to get out of
there because I had to work Saturday morning. So it
was but it was fun. Leslie was amazing too.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
She was great you and Les killed that. Thank you
so much.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
That was really really cool man. She brought the energy
and uh, there's a point Jackie would have left your
ass off because Nate asked me. Nasty Nate, who ups
out the show from time to time and works on
the street team, was like, yo, I need to get
on stage. Is it cool if I get on stage,
I can film Cruise. I was like, yeah, thank you
very much, I'll get everything. I'll send it to Jackie.
And I was like, right on. At one point, this
(04:29):
fool was following Cruise so closely on stage that Cruise
almost backed into.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Him all over. Bro, this one was an obstacle.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah, it was like a drill for football or some shit.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
I was probably and like I felt him right like
at one point he was breathing it on me.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
But I was like drinking dog, so it was all good,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (04:51):
But like, nah, like I was waiting to bump into him,
to be like watch old dog, like turn it into something,
because he was really like he was my backpack.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
I saw my back and I saw him afterwards, and
I was like, bro, when I said it was cool
to go on stage, I didn't meet up his ass.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
He did great though, Yo and I had it man.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
Yo.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Jeff's wife Sarah bro that she gets down. She's fun, man.
She she knows how to unwind and have a good time.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
Drinking a little.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Bit, just you know.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
I had one or two or maybe maybe we had
a few shots. We killed a bottle dog and like
it was just it wasn't.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
From two shots.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
It was legendary. These were big shots.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah, dude, they were riding tequila to everything. She made
him honey drink with lemon for his throat.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Tequila, Tequila to it. Tequila, it's antibiotic. Bro.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
It was funny, man. They had a good time and
overall was it was really good And I'm really thankful
that we're able to do this, you know, for the listeners,
for the fans of comedy, for the comedians, and of
course for a community with Chris care So thanks to
everybody that was involved there. I wanted to talk about
a couple of things, Jack, because you haven't been here
and I've been seeing this all over social Pedro Pascal
(06:04):
and his touchy feely thing he's got going on. So
apparently he has anxiety and we all make them comfortable.
Is being able to touch somebody like touching must be
his love Well, no, I don't think.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
It's a love language. I think it's more of just
like okay, like this is what grounds me, like brings
me back to like.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
You're okay with this, I'm inappropriate.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
I'm I'm like kind of okay with it because I
understand if somebody might need that, if like if somebody
has anxiety, but at the same time.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Wait walking around arrested.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
No, okay, you guys are letting me finish my thought.
I understand if somebody needs to like touch, somebody need
to like feel grounded, But I as a person hate that.
I hate when someone is touching me, like when especially
if like Nico, like if he's like touching me just
like a lot, he can tell, like he can tell
(07:04):
when I get annoyed, I'm like get like get off,
like get off. But no, but like it's when it's
like excessively touching, which is I think what Pedro Pascal does.
But I think people kind of like realize that I've
seen him do it with like his co stars on
Fantastic four, which.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Is yeah, the one woman that's pregnant.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Yeah, But He's also done it to a cousin from
the bear Oh my god, what's his name? Yeah, the dude,
and he plays a thing. He's like gotten close to him,
like super close him where I thought he was like, damn,
you're going to kiss him, but like it was more
of like I need your comfort, like because I haven't.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Get a fidget spinner, homie, you can't touch I.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Mean, listen, I think the people that are around him
that allow him to do that, God bless them, God
bless them. And that's why I just think he's got
to figure it out, man, because like Chris said, if
me or Nico or or or Cruise did that, mad
people would.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Punch us will The thing is, is it exclusive to women?
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Like?
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Does he only?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
So people are saying on the internet, is that like
it's a lot with his female co stars, but like
he has done it to like his male co stars
as well, but they're bringing light to it more because
it's his female co stars that like. But I've seen
like there was one instance where I think they were
promoting Fantastic for like at a movie theater, and like
he had put his hand on her back and she
(08:32):
she took his hand and just like held it like
a stage where she was just like I knew he
needed me in that moment, and so I knew that
to comfort him was to hold his hand.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
He needs a service animal.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
Anywhere, Yeah, bro, you need an emotional support puppy.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Stop playing.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
You know, from a psychological standpoint, it probably goes back
to his childhood and his mother holding him and making
him feel safe and secure.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Mom's years old, I know, but everything goes.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
Back, cy I agree.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
You know what's crazy is that I do like, even
though I don't like like people touching me, there is
something that like Nico, that I have Nicode to calm
me down or when I just need comfort, and.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
That he just like he just don't your face.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Like put my palm on her face, like he cuts
my face like that, and that just literally calms me down.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Really yeah, that's like, but that's like you ask me,
I don't think like anybody that he's touching.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
His as yeah, or you know it's something super weird
that I used to do as a kid to fall
asleep and was comforting to me, is that I used
to go like this to people's ears, like whoever was
trying to put me to sleep? I used to like
touch their their like ear lobes. Yeah, and that's what
would come for me. It's either that or like an
ear lobe, which is really weird.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
But you're a woman, right, for a woman if that's
not that creepyde Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
And the thing is, if it wasn't Pedro Pascal, would
we even be like this.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Well, it would be weird, right, I mean people are like,
people are saying.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Like that is it because he's a good looking man,
is what you're saying?
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yeah, dog, he's an actor, not everything already?
Speaker 3 (10:07):
What anymore?
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Whose wife? Was he touching her face? William Dafoe. Yeah,
like touched her face.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
And then when he got caught doing that, he like
looked like you're trying to change the subject.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
It's like, bro, you know what you're doing. Dog's not playing, Yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Mean, if he's really going through it, I mean, you know,
I wish him the best because that mental health issues
are no joke. You're around right now.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
But Noah, Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
I think he still got to figure it out. I mean,
I'm dying on that hill. He's got to figure it out.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
To figure it out.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
So we were talking about this earlier Nico when you
were out of the room. Would you rather be the
cheater or get cheated on?
Speaker 1 (10:44):
I think he'd rather get cheated on. He's got a
pass I forget.
Speaker 5 (10:47):
I think I'd rather get cheated on because at that point,
you kind of have the upper hand in the situation.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
That's exactly what said.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Yeah, cheated on, you could have the upper hand.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
It's weird.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
You know what, if you're cheating, you're you got the
upper hands, not necessarily because if you're like my.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Point was, and I think what you're gonna say is like, oh,
like if someone cheats on you, then it's like, okay,
well I kind of can do whatever the hell I
want because you fucked up first.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
But whatever they wanted before you were doing what you wanted.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
But most people are not into lick backs like that,
because that's not who you are.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
I'm not most people.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
I know you're crazy, I know you're out of your mind,
but I'm just saying, but we all are.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
That's why we belong together.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Here, we found our tribe, this is our tribero.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
We're out of our mind.
Speaker 5 (11:44):
What about you, guys, Would you guys rather be the
person cheated on or the cheat?
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Term I'd rather be the cheater, Jeff, probably the cheating
cheat on me. Man, that's nothing.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
I would do it, but it would be like, well,
at least I didn't get you.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Exactly, at least I'm out here doing the cheating.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
I just think like not that we would, you know.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
I just think that, like if you're the one that's
cheated on, Like, I don't know. I think it's just
because I'm such a like, uh what evil person, I guess,
but like I don't know, such a person who loves
revenge that I would like do the absolute crazy.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Think you would you wouldn't you soft?
Speaker 5 (12:35):
And I think to like kind of like piggyback off
of that. I would like to just live my life
with like a clean con.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yeah, you know what I mean, that's true.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
That's the would you know.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
What he cheated before? You've cheated before?
Speaker 5 (12:51):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (12:51):
How do you sleep at night? Bro?
Speaker 3 (12:53):
That brought a burp out of me.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I was, hey, wow, Jackie is about to spillo?
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Who did you cheat on?
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Man? It's okay. I've been cheated on. I was in
the ninth grade. I'm still a little weird about it.
Speaker 5 (13:09):
Yeah, I see, and you were happy. I'm not happy,
but you're okay.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Yeah, I've also cheated back in the day, Bro, I
was a kid, but still back.
Speaker 5 (13:19):
In the day.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
So they were still waiting for you to.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
No, no, no, you don't have to answer, but you're fine.
We can do a quick subject change and keep them.
I could hear the Taipans, no need to incriminate the guilty.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
For real. I've been on being guilty.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
I've been on both sides. Yeah, actually you know, And
now I don't know because I've been on both sides,
I don't really know which one was more beneficial.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Towards me, right, because when you're cheating, great question. Gave
it thought like, bro, just be honest, but you.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
Know what, it was just she's scared of the eagle
next you. We just watched Shrinking last night, like kind
of spoilers, but then someone got cheated on and I
was like, man, I'm happy I'm the dude in this situation.
I would rather be the dude in that situation.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
Really again, reckon, I recommended enough. It's so good.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
Yeah, it's really good.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
It's therapy and cheating.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
You know what, though, Dog, I could I couldn't cheat though,
I all start crying. Dog, while I'm cheating just looking.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Like you guys are wild man, and you're gonna have
to make Jackie d it.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Now.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
See this is not a safe space. So everyone knows
this is not a safe space.
Speaker 5 (14:33):
It really is, Nico.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
So you were away from Jackie why she was sick?
I was, yeah, hopefully you avoided it.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
No, I avoided everything, man, you avoided.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Jackie attitude, her tone, language.
Speaker 5 (14:51):
Man, it was a long drive. But then I had,
you know, I have my peace for like a couple
of hours.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Man, for you and kitt.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
He's not kidding, and that's okay. It's okay, Like everyone
deserves some piece.
Speaker 5 (15:05):
But you know, I feel like, at the same time,
like I had my time away from her and she
had her time away from me.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Was she mad at you because you were going so long?
Speaker 5 (15:13):
I'm so long, dude. I did a whole trip across
California in like eighteen hours.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Actually drove the Corolla.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
Oh yes, I drove the Toyota Corolla. And the best
thing about it, bro, was that I literally only spent
like sixty seventy dollars on two full tanks. It was nuts.
That's from here to the bank. It was the past
bro for real.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
I drove to Marongo in the Raft four hybrid and
I didn't even it took Man, I'm still going off
that gas that I got.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Later, not even half a tank to get there, maybe
a quarter of a tank to get there and back.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
Yeah, but it was cool about the trip too. I
got the chance to listen to the Tyler album, the
Beaber album, and the Cliffs album I think in that
order actually, and then like I ended up liking the
Clips album the most, just an album next, and then
the Tyler album last. Not to say Tyler's album was
not good, it was just the order in which I
(16:09):
liked it because they're all amazing.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Yeah, that's my favorite album right now. Tyler album is
my favorite. Great energy to work out.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Yeah, all right, let's end it there, Man brand new
podcast every night after hours podcast. Right after the show,
we jump on, we hit the mics, hit record and

(16:37):
fair warning. We are having a relationship. Uh consulting, I
think consult coach coming in on Thursday, Yeah before it, Yes,
and you and Jackie are gonna have some discussions with her.
So more on that coming up soon.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Enjoying, Thank you for getting married.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Great day, guys, self love gurus. What's up? This is
a car on the Cruise Show? Yo. This is your
boy k side. What's good? It's Junior on the Cruise Show.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
It happened to the number one afternoon show in LA
from two pm to seven pm on Real nine two
three
