Prescott dropped so it says Dak Prescottno longer facing a sexual assault lawsuit.

A judge signed off on dropping alawsuit from Prescott's accuser on April sixteenth,
so just yesterday apparently. Court documentsobtained by CBS News Texas show the case
has been dismissed without prejudice, meaningthe current case against Prescott has ended,
but allows for the case to berefiled in the future. And this,
of course, is the woman whofollowed lawsuit against Prescott for assaulting her in

a strip club parking lot in twentyseventeen. That was after a DACKX rookie
season. She claimed Prescott invited herout with two members of his entourage and
other women to an establishment in Plano. Later, getting into a black suv
or, Prescott allegedly exposed himself andused physical force and sexually assaulted her.
He has denied all allegations him andhis lawyers called him patently false, heinous,
and with no bias in reality,and Prescott then countersued and denied her

allegations, accusing her of trying toextort him for one hundred million dollars,
which is while in that countersuit lawsuitPrescott seeking one million from his accuser and
the ending of this it probably requiredthree signatures one signing the court document saying
that yes, we have no interestin pursuing us any further. The second

was the signing of the non disclosureagreement, and the third was signing the
endorsement line on the back of thecheck that she probably received. Probably that's
probably yes, maybe, but possiblythe countersuit has not been dismissed. I
guess, you know, the onemillion dollars that Dak is seeking from the

accuser not yet right, So Iit was only you can only dismiss so
many lawsuits in a day. Anytime I can time my name in one
day is limited. I wonder if, if, if, and when the
countersuit has dropped that it we willwill even know about it. I mean,
certainly that becomes public information. Yeah, But I just think if the

accusation was untrue, this is thatcountersuit what encourages her to stop her suit,
you know, like if her lawyersare like, look, if you
lose this, then we're going oncourt and you might have to be responsible
for a million dollars to Dak Prescott, And if she knows that it's not

true, then she's like, allright, well let's drop it all.
Or if it is true, thenyou're absolutely right that you could take a
X amount of dollars, maybe amillion dollar, whatever it is from Team
Dak. It goes away, thecountershit goes away, You get a million
bucks in your pocket, and justyou go away. And I don't want

to be cynical about this, butthe only thing that we have to base
this on is the way that thatorganization has done business in the past.
And like it or not, ascool and likable of a dude as Dak
is, he's still connected very closelyand deeply with Jerry Jones and that's kind
of his mo that's his the wayhe does business. Yeah, and we've

seen it time and time and timeago. So it's not unreasonable to speculate
that that could be the way thatthis went down. And if it is
the way this went down, thenI would Yeah, you're right, I
would expect the countersuit to be droppedpretty quickly. Now if Dak has really
asked herd about this and it lookif were you and these allegations were made

publicly, a suit was filed,you counter suit, she drops it.
Don't you keep the counter suit going? Yeah, to say no, you're
not getting away with making these statementsand accusing me of this it never happened.
You follow through on that to theend, right, Yes, because
you want your name to be clearedabove all. Uh, yes, but
I think that you want this allto go away is your top priority.

you know, I mean they bothor Dak admits to a consensual interaction of
sorts with her, which is probablyback to the suv and intertwine your fingers

making these what are in your mind, these outrageous and incorrect claims. But
assuming that that happened, well,they, like you said, they both
admitted to something happened. And thesecond that that encounter started, for lack
of better term, that's when youstart painting the entire scene with fifty shades

of great. Yeah, exactly,because no one really knows. Being that
that's true, I think team Dakwants this all to go away, and
they wouldn't hang in for this milliondollar counter suit. But now, if
if it was completely consensual, you'reright, maybe Dak is like, you
know what, No, And justlike Dak would sign a contract that helps
all the other future quarterbacks that aregoing to sign contracts behind him, you
have to hold the line and getas much as you can. It might

make sense for him to say,no, you're not gonna just try to
extort a multi millionaire quarterback with alie that smears my name. So I

if he continued the countersuit for themillion dollars and they did hook up,

reopening the case and saying no,I'm back in you know it was all

probably about the last hear of it, unless we hear a blurb about Dak
has dropped his countersuit and that doesn'tlook bad to him, right If he
