It is time first to go to God in prayer,
and as always I ask that you join along with
me in prayer. You know I was thinking about in prayer.
You know, sometimes we pray for God's will to be
done in our lives, but we really want his permissive will.
We want to do what we want to do and
want God to bless it. The reality is we just

need to surrender every area of our lives to Heaven.
Don't hold anything back. Let's pray about that this morning. Father, God,
we come to you right now on the name of
Jesus Christ, just as we are. No pretense, no mass,
no excuses. God, we lay everything at your feet today,

our hearts, our plans, our dreams, our fears, and even
the things we've tried to hide. Lord, we surrender all
to you, not just the easy things, not just the
broken pieces. God, we give you the things that we
still want to try to control. God, we give you
those secret places. We give you our pride, We give

you our reputation. We give you our expectations. God, we
give you our past, with all its pain and failures. God,
we give you our future, the unknown and the uncertain.
God take it all. We lay it at your feet. God,
we don't want to hold anything back from you. If
there's anything in us that's not like you, God, burn

it out, refine us, purify us, strip us of every
idol and every false comfort, until all that's left God
is a heart fully yielded to you. Jesus, you gave
everything for us, not withholding even your own life on
the cross. How could we offer you less than our

whole self. So here we are, Lord, Our hands are open,
our hearts are exposed. God. Our will is bowed down
to you. God. We say yes to your will, yes
to your way, Yes to the pruning, if that's what
it takes to bear fruit for your glory. God. We
surrender our gifts. We surrender our calling, our relationships, our finances,

go of striving, We let go approving and performing. God,
we receive your grace, your love, and your power. God.
We want nothing more than to know you, than to
love you and to live for you. God, let our
