I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And as always I ask
that you join along with me in prayer. You know,
I just reflect on my life because I ain't gonna
talk about y'all. I can talk about me. I can
think about all the times I've missed the mark, how
many times I have messed up, how many times I failed,

(00:20):
and how many times God has forgiven me and loved me,
How He's extended his grace and mercy towards me, how
he did not give up on me. Father, God, in
the name of Jesus Christ, with every breath in my body, God,
I come before you now, grateful, humbled, and in awe

(00:41):
of you, because God, we know, we know that we
didn't deserve to be carried this far. God, But you
did it anyway. You loved us anyway. Lord. We'd look
back at the moments when we turned I backs on you,
when we ran from you, when we hid from you,
when we doubted you, when we drowned in shame and

(01:01):
thought it was too far gone. God, you never left us.
You never stopped whispering our names in the choiet. You
never gave up on us. God, we thank you for
the knights. And we cried and thought that nobody heard us,
But God you did. For the days we felled and
thought we had lost our worst. God, but you said,
we're still yours. You held us God, when we were

(01:25):
ready to let go of everything, and that grace, that mercy,
it has marked us forever. Thank you for the doors
you shut in our lives to protect us. Thank you
for the people you were removed in order to heal us.
Thank you for the storms that shook us. God, thank
you that we are never broken. God. Thank you, oh

(01:46):
for not treating us as our sins deserved. Thank you
for seeing past who we were and calling forth who
we could be. Thank you, Jesus. We see now that
every detour, God, Oh, it was a divine setup by
you got every heartbreak was a holy redirection. And God,

(02:07):
we're thankful every delay was you shaping us and to
somebody stronger, somebody wise as somebody. Oh God, we're grateful
for the cross. But God, we're just as grateful for
that empty tomb, because it reminds us that nothing, not
even death, can stop your purpose from rising in us.
So today God, we raise our hands not in perfection God,

(02:30):
but in total God, surrender to you. God. We don't
have it all together, but God, we know the one
who holds it all together in our lives. God, you're faithful. God,
you are good. God, you are our rescue. God. Thank you.
Thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you
for your grace that chased us down. Thank you for

(02:51):
your love that rewrote our ending. God, we're still here,
we're still standing, and it's only because of you. Thank you, God,
forever giving up on us. In Jesus' name, A man Amen,
