Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am sharing, Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And as always, I invite
you to join along with me in prayer. You know
my aunt Lulah Miller, my Angenes, she always sends us
out these daily devotionals every morning, these scriptures and all
of that. And what she sent out on yesterday was
Deuteronomy thirty one and eighteen. Boy, you talk about blessing,
(00:21):
it is so I just kind of want to pray
surrounding that for us today. Family Father, in the name
of Jesus Christ, we come before you today, standing on
your promises in your word in Deuteronomy thirty one and eighteen,
that you yourself you go before us, and that you
will be with us, You will never leave us, you
will never forsake us. What a powerful, powerful truth to
(00:45):
hold on to when life feels uncertain, when the road
ahead is unclear, and when fear tries to grip our hearts. Lord,
there are moments when we don't know what tomorrow will bring,
when anxiety whispers lies into our ears, when sorrow knocks
at the door of our souls, and when hope seems
like a distant dream. But today God, we remind ourselves
(01:08):
that you are not present, that you never leave us,
you never forsake us, That we are not alone. You
are already in our tomorrow. You've walked ahead to make
the crooked past strings. God, you've declared obstacles that we
can't see yet, and you prepared blessings we haven't even imagined.
(01:30):
We declared today that fear will not rule our lives.
Discouragement will not sit on the thrones of our hearts,
because you are with us, Emmanuel, God, with us, we
will not operate and fear. We will not be shaken
by what we see. God, You've seen every tear we've cried.
(01:51):
You've heard every cry. You know the weight that we carry,
and still you say, do not be afraid, do not
be discouraged. So Lord, help us to trust in your
presence more than we fear the unknown. Help us to
remember that you are the same God who split the
Red Sea. You're the same God who faith the hungry
(02:14):
and the wilderness. You're the same God that raised the
dead and God, you're the same God who still moves
mountains to this day. God. If you are with us,
and you are, we know that you are, then no
weapon formed against us will be able to prosper. We
may see it for him, but we can trust and
(02:35):
know that it will not be able to prosper. God,
when we walk through seasons of grief, you are there.
When we stand at the edge of a new chapter
in our lives, nervous, I'm sure, trembling. God, You're right there.
When we feel abandoned by other people. You stay when
the enemy whispers that we are forsaking. God, you shall
(02:56):
from heaven never. God, let this be the anthem of
our soul today. The Lord goes before me, He is
with me. He will never leave me. I will not fear,
I will not be discouraged. I am not forgotten. I
am not alone. So, Father, fill our hearts with fresh courage.
(03:17):
Breathe boldness into our weary bones. God, wrap us in
your love until every fear breaks in every life. Please, God,
let the fire of faith burn strong within us. Today. God,
we give you praise for who you are. We thank
you for your promises that never fell. And we walk
forward not in our strength, but in your strength, confident
(03:39):
that the one who goes before us is also the
one who holds us in the mighty, matchless, wonderful name
of Jesus amen amen and amen.
