I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always I ask
that you join along with me in prayer. You know
I was thinking about Hezekiah Walker's song second Chance. He's
a God of a second chance. That's what I want
to pray about it. Heavenly Father, thank you for being
the God who sees beyond our failures in our flaws,

(00:23):
the God who meets us in the middle of our mess,
not to condemn us, but to lift us, to love us,
to lead us back to life. Lord, when we've fallen,
when we miss the mark, when we've said things we
can't take back, when we make choices God that we regret,
wander too far from where we should have been, You
still remain faithful. When others give up on us. You don't.

(00:47):
When we almost gave up on ourselves. God, you stepped
in with your grace and with your mercy. Father, you
are the God of another chance, not just a second chance.
When denied you three times, you didn't discard him. You
restored him. When Jonah ran in the opposite direction, you
redirected him. When David messed up big, you still called

him a man. After your own heart, and today that
same grace riches us. Lord. Thank you, Thank you that
our past doesn't disqualify us from your presence. Thank you
that your mercy is new every morning, not just once,
but every single day. Thank you that even in our brokenness, God,

(01:33):
you still see beauty, you still see purpose, you still
see us. God, we confess we don't deserve your kindness,
But you don't love us based on what we deserve.
You love us based on who you are, and you
are love, You are grace, You are redemption. When people
try to define us by our worst moments, God remind

(01:57):
us that you define us by the Cross. You'll see
us through the eyes of redemption. And where others see ruins, God,
you see rebuild where others see shame. You see story.
Where others see a mistake, God, you see ministry. You
said in your words that if we confess our sins,
you are faithful, You are just to forgive us and

(02:17):
cleanse us of all unrighteousness. So Father, today we receive
your forgiveness, and we forgive ourselves. We let go of shame,
and we hold fast to hope. Thank you for rewriting
the scripts of our lives. Thank you for breathing fresh
wind into tire dreams. Thank you for every door you'll open,
for every heart you'll heal it, and for the testimony

you're creating. Because you are the God of a second chance. God,
let us walk boldly in this grace, not just for ourselves,
but to offer it to others. God, let us be
a reflection of your mercy. Let our lives shout to
the world that is not over, because as long as
God is still writing, the story isn't finished. God, in

the name of Jesus, you are our redeemer, You are
our restore, You are a reset on. We thank you
for it in Jesus' name. Amen, Amen, Amen,
