Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And as always I ask
that you join along with me in prayer. Today I
just want to pray about trusting in God's plan for
our lives. Gracious and sovereign God, Today we come before
you with hearts that are weary, minds that are full God,
(00:23):
and spirits that are longing for peace. Life doesn't always
make sense to us. The detours, the delays, the disappointments.
They make us wonder why why is this happening? But Lord,
even when we don't understand, we know that you can
be trusted, and we choose to trust you because we
believe it's all in your plan. When the door closed,
(00:47):
it was your plan. When they walked away, it was
your plan. When the answer was not yet or even know, God,
you were still working behind the things. You were orchestrating
something greater than we can ever imagine. So today, Father,
we release our need to figure it all out. We
let go of the anxiety that comes from trying to
(01:08):
predict the outcomes in our lives. Because you are the
God who sees the end from the beginning. Nothing catches
you off. God, nothing happens outside of your divine knowledge.
And even when it feels like life is spending out
of control, you are still seated on the throne. You're
still in full control. We thank you God that all things,
(01:30):
the good, the bad, the heart, the confusing, all things
are working together for our good because we love you
and we're called according to your purpose. That means even
the pain has purpose, even the waiting has weight and glory.
Even the silence is part of the symphony. God, you're
(01:51):
writing in our lives. Lord, remind us that you waste nothing.
Every trial teaches us, every delay develops us. Every season
of lack is preparing us to be good stewards in
our overflow. So when we feel frustrated, let us lean
(02:11):
into faith. When we feel for good, and remind us
that your eyes are still on us. When we feel broken, God,
reassure us that you are still building something beautiful. God,
we surrender our plans for your purpose. We exchange our
timelines for your divine timing. Help us not to rush
what you're still refining. Give us the strength to walk
(02:33):
by faith and not by sight, to trust it. If
you allowed something to happen in our lives, you will
use it, and if you've brought us to it, you'll
certainly bring us through it. God, help us to rest
in the truth that your ways are so much higher
than our ways, and your thoughts are beyond what we
can see. What looks like a set back may just
(02:55):
be a set up for your glory. God. What feels
like the end may simply be the beginning of something new. God,
we declare right now in the name of Jesus, it's
all in your plan, so we trust you. In the unknown.
We choose to praise you in the in between. We
choose to follow you even when the path isn't clear,
(03:15):
because you are playing God for our lives is perfect,
your heart is good, your love never fails. God, we
give you glory and advance for how this story ends
for us, because you are the author and the finisher
of our faith, and we know you write nothing but
victory for us. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, Amen, Amen,
