Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always I ask
that you join along with me in prayer. This morning.
I'm just thinking about the faithfulness of God, and that's
what I want to meditate on pray on this morning,
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, God, in
(00:21):
this prayer today, we want to pause to remember, to
call to mind the truth that rescues our hearts from despair,
that your mercy never fails. In a world filled with
chaos and confusion and uncertainty, we take refuge in your
unchanging word. When our souls are weary and our eyes
(00:43):
are filled with tears, we cling to the hope you
have promised that your compassions are new every morning. Lord,
Sometimes life feels like one long night. The burdens we
carry feel heavier than we can bear. Grief knocks at
our doors, Disappointments whisper in the darken. Even in our faith, God,
(01:04):
if we'll be honest, we grow faint. But God, even there,
you reach into our brokenness, and you remind us we
are not consumed. God, Your mercy wraps around us like
a warm blanket. Your love holds us even when we
can't hold ourselves. So today, Lord, we lift our eyes
not to what we see, but to who we know
(01:26):
You are. God. You are faithful even when we are faithless.
You are steady even when we feel shaken. You are
good even when life feels hard, and we say, like
the prophet Jeremiah, this I recall to my mind. Therefore
I have hope. Father, we thank you that every morning
(01:47):
we wake up to new mercies, not recycled grace God,
not left over love, but brand new compassion Taylor made
for each day's struggle. When the enemy whispers that we're
nod enough, God, you remind us that your grace is sufficient.
Your grace is enough. When shame tries to shackle us,
(02:07):
you remind us that your love has already paid the price.
When fear tries to paralyze us, you surround us with
your presence, and you declare, fear not, for I am
with you. Lord, stare our hearts today with gratitude. Let
us not rush past the beauty of your faithfulness. Let
us not be numb to the miracle of your mercy.
(02:29):
Breathing to us again, God, let fresh fire fall from
our weary spirits, revive us, restore us, renew us. For
you are the God of new beginnings. We may not
have all the answers, but we have your promise, and
that is enough. So we declare God, great is your faithfulness.
(02:49):
Morning by morning, day by day, you remain. And because
of your steadfast love, we will not give up. We
will not be concerned, We will not lose hope, even
in the waiting, even in the weeping, even in the wilderness. God,
you are still God, and you're still good Father. We
(03:10):
seal this prayer in the mighty matches wonderful name of Jesus. Amen. Amen, Amen,
