Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And as always I ask
that you join along with me in prayer. You know,
sometimes we go through those seasons where we say, am
I making a difference? Is what I'm doing making an
impact in somebody's life? Is it all in vain? Oh,
(00:20):
Heavenly Father, and the name of Jesus Christ. There are
moments in our lives when our hearts whisper questions we're
almost afraid to say out loud, is my living in vain?
Do my efforts matter? Do my sacrifices count for anything? Lord?
You see those quiet tears. God, you see the hidden struggles,
the times we give, the times we serve, And yet
(00:43):
it feels like no one even notices, no one appreciates,
no one understands. But Father, today we take comfort in
your word that reminds us and first Corinthians fifteen fifty eight.
Be steadfast, be immovable, all ways, abounding in the work
of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord
(01:05):
is not in vain. Lord, when discouragement tries to settle in,
when weariness makes us question our own worth, remind us
God that You are keeping record every prayer whispered, every
act of kindness shown, every sacrifice made and love. It
all matters to you. Lord. When the enemy tries to
convince us that we are forgotten, remind us that you
(01:29):
see us. You see the mother who labors tirelessly for
her children. You see the father who works long hours
to provide. You see the one who serves faithfully behind
the scenes, the one who prays in secret, the one
who gives when no one else knows. You see God,
You know, and you reward Father. Right now, Strengthen us
(01:51):
when the journey feels long. Lift our heads when we
feel bowed down. Help us God to understand that our
living is not measured by applause. It's not measured by
recognition or earthly success, but by obedience to You and
the impact we make for eternity. Remind us that one
(02:11):
word of encouragement, one seed of kindness, one moment of
faith can ripple through generations and ways that we may
never see or even you, Poor Lord, Let hope rise
up in us again. Let us live with the confidence
that nothing done in love is wasted, nothing done and
faith is ignored God, and nothing done for you will
(02:34):
ever return empty. Our living is not in vain because
you are the God who redeems every tear. You are
the God who restores every loss, and you are the
God who rewards every labor. So today God, we pray,
renew our strength, restore our joy, reignite our passion to
(02:55):
live with the boldness and with purpose for you. And
when doubt said, let the voice of your spirit whisper louder.
Your living is not in vain. I see you, I'm
with you, and I am pleased. Yes, God,
