My name is Sherry Mackie.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
It is time for us to go to God in prayer,
and as always I ask that you join along with
me in prayer. And today I just want to pray
about God being our covering, Almighty Sovereign Father, our Daddy. God,
we come before you today seeking your divine covering. For

(00:23):
you alone are our refuge, our fortres, and our strong tower.
Your word declares that those who dwell in the secret
place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty, And today Lord, we take our place
under that shadow. Cover us God with your wings, O God,
and let us find safety and rest.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Beneath your arms.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Lord, we ask for your covering over our minds. God,
protect us from the lives of the enemy, from the
weight of worry, and from the attacks of fear and doubt.
Let your truth be a shield around our thoughts, so
that we can walk in confidence, knowing that we are love,
that we are chosen, and we are redeemed. Cover our hearts, Father,

guard us from bitterness, from brokenness, and from wounds.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
That will try to harden us.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
God, surround our hearts with your peace, with your joy,
and with the assurance of your love. God, Let our
hearts beat with rhythm, with your heart filled with compassion,
faith and courage. Cover our families. Lord Jesus, place a
hedge of protection around our homes.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Let no hurt, no harm.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
No danger, no sickness, no evil come near our dwellings.
Surround our children, God and our loved ones with angels
on assignment. Keep them safe and their going out and
in their coming in. God, Let the blood of Jesus
be over the door post of our lives. Declaring to
the enemy that we belong to you. Father, we ask

(01:48):
for covering over our finances, our health, our relationships, and
our destiny. The plans of the enemy will not prevail
in our lives, for you are our shield and our defender.
We declare that every assignment of the enemy is counseled
right now, every plot is destroyed, and every chain is broken.
And the Mighty name of Jesus, Lord, cover us not

just from what is seen, but from what is unseen.
Hide us from the dangers we are not aware of.
Protect us from traps that we did not see coming.
Keep us from stumbling, and set our feet on the
path of righteousness. For your namesake and Father, we thank
you not only for protection from harm, but for your
coforing God, the covering of your presence. For where your

presence is God, there is fullness of joy. Where your
presence is, there is peace beyond understanding. Where your presence is,
there is safety, there is strength, there is victory. Thank
you Jesus, so we rest under your covering today, knowing
that you are our shield, you are our hiding place,
You are our great defender. Thank you Lord for being

(02:53):
our protector. Thank you Lord for being our provider. Thank
you Lord for being our peace. We trust you, we
love you, and we give you all the glory and
the powerful name of Jesus.
