Daily Prayer 10-01-25

I am Sherry Mackie. At it's time right now for
us to go to God in prayer, and as always
I invite you to join along with me in prayer.
I think about sometimes all of the wood coulda should
as in my life or some of the situations honestly
I found myself in because of my choices, And then

(00:21):
I think, But God, oh Heavenly Father, we come before
you today with grateful hearts, declaring that you are the
God of the turnaround, the God of new beginnings, the
God who writes the final chapter in our story. Lord,
So many of us can look back over our lives
and see moments that should have destroyed us, seasons that

(00:43):
should have broken us, storms that should have taken us out.
We can remember the pain, We remember the sickness, We
remember the betrayal God, we remember the loss. But in
the middle of it all there was a But God, Lord,
word reminds us that Joseph was thrown into a pit

(01:04):
by his own brothers. He was falsely accused, he was
in prison, but God was with him and he rose
to the palace. David was haunted by Saul, hiding in
caves and running for his life, but God established him
as king. Paul said he was shipwrecked, beaten, and in despair,

(01:25):
but God delivered him again and again. And Lord, many
of us have faced seasons where we thought it was over.
We sat in hospital rooms, we sat in courtrooms, we
sat in living rooms where hope seemed lost. But God,
you stepped in. Father. Today we pray for the ones

(01:46):
who feel that they're at the end of their rope.
They're carrying heavy burdens. They're battling depression, their fighting illness,
they're facing financial struggles or trying to pick up the
broken pieces from a broken relationship. God, remind them that
what the enemy meant for evil, you're still turning around

(02:06):
for good. Remind them that weeping may endure for a night,
but joy is coming in the morning. Remind them that
when others walked away, you never left, and you never will. Lord.
We thank you for every but God in our lives.
The moments when we didn't see away, but you made
one when we didn't have the strength to go on. God,

(02:28):
but you carried us when we were guilty, But you
covet us with your mercy and your grace. God, we
declare today that our story is not over. Until you
say that it's over. So Father, we lift our eyes
in face. No matter what we face, we will say
with confidence. Sickness may come, but God is a healer.

(02:48):
Trouble may rise, but God is a deliverer. Enemies may gather,
but God will raise up a standard against them. Fear
may whisper, but God gives us peace. Lack may try
to hold us back, but God is our provider. Lord.
Feel this truth in our hearts today
