I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always I invite
you to join along with me and prayer. Today is
Veterans Day, and so today I want to pray for
our military personnel and their families. I come from a
military family. Actually on both sides. I think about when

(00:23):
my cousin was serving actively during war and we're praying,
and I'm praying every day that Psalms ninety one over
his life. Thank God he came home safely to us.
But I also think about the terror that the families
feel when family is over, you know, serving our country
or just to sacrifice that families make and these individuals make.

So I want to pray for our military personnel. Gracious
and Almighty God, today we come in the name of
Jesus Christ and pause with reverence, gratitude, and honor for
the brave, brave men and women who are serving and
have served and continue to serve in our United States
Armed Forces. Lord, you know their sacrifice. You know the

nights they spent a week in lands far from home.
You know the weight they carry in their minds and
their bodies and in their hearts.

Father, we thank you for every veteran, those.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Who stood watch, those who stepped forward when others stepped back,
those who carried courage into places of fear.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Thank you, Lord God, for their.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Discipline, their commitment, and their willingness to protect people they
may never meet. We thank you for those serving right
now on ships, on bases, in the air, underground, on
the front lines. Cover them and your divine protection. Be
their shelter, be their sheer, be their peace. Lord.

We pray for.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Every family, their spouses who kept the home steady, the
children who learned to be strong early, and the parents
who live between pride and concern. Bless these families, God,
with strength that does not wear down, and joy that
does not fade.

Wrap your loving arms around.

Them and let them know God that you see them,
you value them, and you are with them.

God. For the veterans who came back with visible.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Scars, we ask for you, And for those who came
back with invisible wounds, memories that haunt, battles that replay
in their minds. Night This knights that feel long, God,
we ask for your peace that surpasses all human understanding.
Restore their minds, God, settle their spirits. Remind them that

they are more than what they saw or experienced, more
than what they survived, and more than what they remember. Lord,
comfort those who have lost loved.

Ones in service.

Hold the families who carry the weight of a folded flag. Jesus,
Surround them with your love left them, and your grace,
and remind them that their sacrifice is never forgotten.

We ask you to bless to strengthen and.

Uphold our military personnel and veterans.

Give them hope for tomorrow, healing for today, and honor
that never fails. Let Your presence walk with them. Let
your peace rest upon them. In your favor be their portion.
