Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always, I invite
you to join along with me in prayer. You know,
as we are approaching the holiday season, so often there's
contention in fighting in the families and unforgiving. So people
are anxious about spending time with the family. So I
want to pray for healing in the family. Father, God,
in the name of Jesus, we come to you with

(00:22):
hearts lifted, humbled, and hungry for your presence. As we
journey into this Thanksgiving season and the holidays ahead, we
pause to acknowledge you as the center of our lives,
the anchor of our souls, and the healer of every wound. Lord,
Today we lift up our families, every mother, every father,
every child, every sibling, every generation connected to us. God,

(00:44):
we're asking you to bring healing in the family. Lord,
you see when nobody else sees. You know the tensions
that rise when everyone gathers. You know the loss that
leaves an empty seat at the table. You know the
hurt that lingers behind the smiles and the pain that
stuck tucked away in a quiet corners of our heart.
But today God, we ask you to walk into our homes,

(01:06):
walk into our relationships, Walk into every memory and moment
that needs your touch.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
God, somebody is facing.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
This holiday season without a loved one for the first time.
Their hearts are heavy, their emotions are fragile, and their
memories feel both comforting and painful.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Lord, wrap them in.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Your arms, Be the God of all comfort, the one
who wants tears, steady trembling hearts and whispers, I am
with you. God. Remind them that grief is not a
sign of weakness, is a sign of love and even God,
in the valley of loss.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
You are still faithful.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Father.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
We pray for those dealing with family.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Contention, unspoken tension, all wounds that resurface during the holidays,
misunderstandings that nobody has resolved, words that cut deeply even
years later.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Lord, step into those spaces.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Bring peace where there's been strife, unity where there's been division,
and forgiveness where bitterness.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Try to take root.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
God, teach us to release what we no longer need
to carry. Teach us to extend grace even when it's hard.
Teach us to listen, Teach us to love, and teach
us to see one another through your eyes.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Of love and mercy and grace.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Lord, healed work and relationships. Heal parent and children who
haven't talked in years. Heal siblings separated by pride. Heal
marriage is strained by stress and fear and silence, resentment.
Restore what the enemy tried to tear apart, rebuild what
was fractured. God, rekindle love, rekindle compassion, and rekindle understanding.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
God, we pray for emotional healing.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
We pray for those who walked into gatherings feeling unseen, unappreciated,
or even forgotten. Remind them, God that they matter. Remind
them that they are valued. Remind them that they are
loved by You with an ever lasting love. Let no
one sit at the table this year feeling alone while
surrounded by people. Lord, we pray for generational healing. Break

(03:03):
cycles of dysfunction, cycles of anger, cycles of addiction, cycles
of trauma. Oh God, bring freedom to our bloodlines, respiration
to our hearts, and renewal to our homes. God, let
this be the year where the pattern stops, where peace
becomes a new inheritance. And God, we pray for the
families who are doing their best just to hold it together.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Strengthen the Lord. Encourage the Lord.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Pour out supernatural joy that strengthens and uplifts. Release the
spirit of gratitude in the home. Gratitude not based on
everything being perfect, but based on the fact that You
are still good, still present, and still working. Lord, As
we gather around the table, this Thanksgiving is this Christmas.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
You sit with us. Breathe peace over us.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Let love flow from one heart to another, that laughter return,
Let grace abound. Let healing begin, not temporarily, not partially,
but fully, deeply and permanent.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
God, we surrender our families to you.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Every broken place, every hurting heart, every strained relationship, every
empty chair, every difficult memory, every hope that.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
We still hold on to. You are the God who restores.
You are the God who reconciles.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
You are the God who heals the broken heartness.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
You are the God who makes all things new.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
So today we declare healing over our homes, peace over
our gatherings, comfort over our grief, forgiveness over our hearts,
and unity over our family.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Lord, bring healing in the family, and let.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
This holiday season be a reminder that with you, there's
always hopes. With you, there's always grace, and with you
there's always the possibility of a brand new beginning.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray Amen

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
