Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And as always, I invite
you to join along with me in prayer. And I'm
just thinking during this holiday season, many are out shopping
and decorating and.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Doing all the things.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
But my heart is just heavy for those family members
that are struggling to remember that God provides struggling to
provide Christmas for their children, for their families.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
And that's what I want to pray about.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Father, God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come
before you today, lifting up every parent who is trying
so hard to make ends meet during this holiday season. Father,
you see the weight on their shoulders. You see the bills.
You see the deadlines. You see the rent notices, the
empty spaces where they wish they could place toys and gifts.

(00:52):
You see the tears they cry in silence because they
want so desperately to give their.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Children the very best.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Lord, you see the heart behind every sacrifice they make. God,
we thank you that you are not a distant God.
You are Jehovah, Jirah. You are the Lord who provides.
You are the God who sees and the God who supplies.
Even when our resources look small, even when.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Our options look limited.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
You are the God who steps in with miracles. So today,
God remind every parent listening that you already have a
ram in the bush.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You already have provision on the way.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
You already have doors ready to open, favor lined up,
how prepared, and blessings assigned to their household. Father, God,
in the name of Jesus, speak peace to every anxious mind.
Quiet the stress that keeps them up at night. Let
them know that their words is not measured by the
price of a gift under the tree, but by the

(01:57):
love and the covering they provide every single day. God,
wrap them in your reassurance that you will not allow
them to be overwhelmed, forsaken or forgotten. Lord, help them
to lean onto you.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
And rely on you. Lord.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Let them feel your presence even now, your holy comfort
that says I got you, I got.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Your family, I got your children.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
God send unexpected provision. Put their names on the minds
of the right people. Touch hearts to bless them. Make
a way where there seems to be no way. Stretched
what they have, God multiplied what's in their hands, and
let testimonies rise that only you could have done it. God,
bless every child in these households. Lord, cover their innocence,

(02:46):
surround them with joy. Let this be a season where
love is louder than lat Come on.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Jesus, where peace is.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Stronger than worry, and where your faithfulness shines brighter than
any light or any decorations. And Father, renew the strength
of these parents. Let them know that they are not failing.
They are fighting, they are trying, they are standing, and
you honor that. God.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Remind them that.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
The same God who provided for Abraham, the same God
who delivered Israel, the same God who fed thousands with
two fish and five lows, that same God is watching
over them right now.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
So Lord, we are glad that provision is coming.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Overflow is coming, relief is coming, Joy is coming. Let
this season be marked by miracles. We trust you, God.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
We lean on you. God.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
We thank you in advance for what You're about to do.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
In Jesus' name. Amen, Amen, Amen,

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
