Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always I ask
that you join along with me in prayer. You know,
I think about our men, and my heart gets heavy
sometimes because I think about how men have to be
strong or feel like they do because they're always taught

(00:22):
you can't cry. Men aren't supposed to cry, Men aren't
supposed to show emotion. Men basically are supposed to be
these super heroes. But God didn't design it that way.
So today I want to pray for my brothers, Heavenly Father,
in the name of Jesus. Today we lift up every man,

(00:44):
our sons, our brothers, our fathers, our husbands, our leaders,
men who carry so much and often say so little Lord.
You see the tears they never cry out loud. You
see the burdens they push down so no one else
has to feel them. You see the pressure they stand
under day after day. And God, you care. Father. We

(01:08):
pray for the man who feels like he has to
be strong for everybody else, but has no place to
lay his own head. The man who feels like he
cannot break, cannot be, and cannot fall apart. The man
who has been told to man up, and in doing so,
has learned to hide his pain. Lord, surround him right

(01:31):
now with your love and your presence. God, you see
what breaks his heart. The pressures to provide, the fear
of failing his family, the weight of responsibility, the disappointments
of dreams delayed, the wolds from his childhood that he
never healed, from the fear of not being enough, The

(01:55):
silent battles with depression, anxiety, and just exhaustion. And Lord,
you see the heartbreak of relationships and betrayal or feeling invisible.
And Lord, you also see what he holds inside. The
anger he cannot express, the tears he refuses to let fall,

(02:16):
the shame he cannot speak, the questions he is afraid
to ask, and the vulnerability he doesn't feel safe to share,
the need for love, affirmation and validation, The desire to
be strong, but also to rest, the hope that things
will someday get better. Father, step into those deep, quiet places,

(02:41):
Touch the wounds where he's learned to ignore, heal the
places he hides from everybody else, but he can't hide
him from you. Remind him that real strength is in silence.
Real strength is surrender to you God. Lord, Let him
know that Jesus wept, the Son of God could release

(03:01):
his tears. Then men are always allowed to release theirs.
Show him that his emotions are not weakness, they are
signals pointing to places where you want to bring healing.
Lift the weight off his shoulders. God, break the chains
of silence, suffering. Remind him that he doesn't have to

(03:22):
carry the world because you already do. Lord, poor strengthen
to the men today for couraging to them God, poor peace,
and to them poor identity, and to them. Help them
to know that they are value, that they are loved,
that they are seen. God, help them to know that
they are needed. Father, Let every man listening today feel

(03:44):
the freedom to cry, the freedom to pray, the freedom
to speak, the freedom to break, the freedom to heal,
and the freedom God to grow. Oh God, let them
know that grace is covering them, Mercy is holding them,
and Your love is carrying them. Restore their hearts, God,
renew their minds, rebuild their confidence. And Lord, whisper to

(04:07):
them today, my son, I'm with you. You don't have
to do this alone. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, Amen, Amen,
