Speaker 1 (00:00):
I am Sherry Mackie and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer. And as always, I invite
you to join along with me in prayer. You know,
I think about the song from Kurt Card for every mountain. Oooh,
that song just steal touches my heart when I just think.
(00:21):
I tell people all the time, when I'm out speaking,
or when I'm out preaching, or when I'm out hosting,
if you take a moment to think, you'll begin to think.
So today, I want to just pray a prayer of
thanksgiving for all the things that God has brought us through.
Heavenly Father, we come before you today with grateful hearts
(00:43):
overflowing with praise because You've been better to us than
we could ever be to ourselves. Lord. When we think
of your goodness, when we reflect on your mercy God,
when we remember where you brought us from, oh, we
can't help but say thank your Lord, Father. We thank
you forever mountain you brought us over for the mountains
of sickness. You healed us from the mountains of heartbreaks,
(01:05):
You carried us through the mountains of lack. You provided
just what we need. God, the mountains of fear, where
you wrapped us in your perfect peace, The mountains of grief, God,
where you held us close and wiped our tears. Lord,
we thank you for every valley you saw us through,
the low places, the lonely places, the confusing places, the
(01:25):
seasons where we didn't know how we were gonna make it,
Yet you sustained us anyway. When we felt weak, You
were our strength. When we felt empty, you were our source.
When we felt forgotten, you reminded us that you were
right there, all alone. Father, we thank you for every
blessing you poured into our lives, seen and unseen, spoken
(01:47):
and unspoken. For the doors you've opened that we weren't
even qualified for, and the doors you closed because you
knew what was ahead. Thank you for the protection from
dangers we never even realized we were in. Thank you
for the grace that covered us, the mercy that lifted us,
and even the love that refused to let us go.
And today, Lord, we thank you for every trial you
(02:09):
brought us out of, because it shaped us, it strengthened us,
and it drew us closer to you. What the enemy
meant for evil, you turn that thing around for our good.
What was designed to break us, you used it to
build us. God, what was meant to discourage us became
the very testimony that now encourages others. God, just like
the song declares, for every mountain you brought us so far,
(02:31):
for every trial you seen us through, for every blessing God,
we say, Holly know Yah, and God, we give you praise.
So today we lift our hands, we lift our voices,
we lift our hearts, and we declare, Lord, you've been faithful,
You've been good. You are God. And for that, God,
we say, thank you. For that, we give your praise.
(02:53):
For that, we give your glory and the mighty, matchless,
wonderful name of Jesus ay Man a'men fan
