Speaker 1 (00:00):
At your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
at his time right now for today's word. Don't let
what you see talk you out of what you heard
first Kings eighteen forty one says, then Elijah said to
a have go up, eat and drink, for there is

(00:21):
a sound of abundance of rain. Y'all. For over three
years Israel experienced a great famine in it ou't rain.
There was no water, and therefore no crops. When there
wasn't a cloud in the sky and no hint of rain,
the prophet Elijah showed up and said, I hear the

(00:42):
sound of an abundance of rain. He made this bold
declaration to King a half then told him go up,
eat and drink. In other words, go on. You can
go on and enjoy and celebrate because the rain is coming.
He was fulfilled, and he knew what God had told him. See.

(01:02):
God will sometimes put things in your spirit that contradicts
what you see in the natural. Your current circumstances don't
line up with it, but God has put it in
your heart. See, the prophet heard an abundance of rain,
but when he saw what was around him, it was
barren ground. Dried up crops. It was drought. Don't let

(01:22):
what you see right now talk you out of what
you heard from God. The key is not to let
what you see override what you've heard. If you're always
looking for a sign, if you're always waiting for your
circumstances to line up, you're gonna get discouraged and defeated.
I heard the promise of healing from God, but I

(01:45):
see sickness. I see the doctors report and not agreeing
with what I heard. I heard abundance, but I see lack.
I hear the bill collectors calling. I see the bank
account is low. I heard freedom, but all I see
is burnt. All I see is heaven. It's an addiction. Well,
let me encourage you today to stay in faith when

(02:06):
there's no evidence, when your circumstances don't line up. Don't
let what you see talk you out of what you've heard.
Just like God promise, Elijah soon saw a down pour
of rain. It's very powerful when you can say I
don't see any side of what I'm believing for. But
God is on the throne and my reign is on

(02:28):
the way. So don't you let what you see talk
you out of what you heard, Oh Father God, Thank
you for the ways you speak to us about what's
coming in our lives. Thank you that you're in no
way limited by our current circumstances. Help us, God, to
have the boldness to speak out the worst that you

(02:51):
say and set the miracles in motion in our lives
and in our family lives. In Jesus' name. Now that's
your word for today. I want you to take that,
apply that to your everyday life, and you continue to
be encouraged and inspired. It's your early morning praise party.
