Today's Word 05-05-25: Believe for Miracles

It's your early morning praise party. I am a Sherry
Mackie in his time right now for today's word. Believe
for the miracles. Mark six five and six says, And
he could do no mighty work there, except that he
laid his hands on a few sick people and heal them.
And he marveled because of their unbelief. In March sixth,

Jesus was in his hometown of Nazareth, teaching in the synagogues.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
They had heard about the miracles.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
He was doing, and they were amazed by the wisdom
of his teaching.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
But they didn't believe. Ye'ah.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
They were too familiar with him. They thought they knew
who he was, They knew his family. He had worked
among them as a carpenter.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
They thought they could They.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Thought there couldn't be anything special about him. Because of
their unbelief, he couldn't do any mighty miracles there, even
though he had all all his power. He had gone
to different cities doing amazing things. You would think his
hometown would have been excited. You would think they would

believe more than anywhere else, But it.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Was just the opposite.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
As a matter of fact, the Bible says Jesus marveled
at their unbelief. Well, let me ask you a question.
When God looks at you, what does he marvel at?
Are you believing for the miracles? Is there anything you're
believing for but you refuse to move on it because
you're scared?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
What is it that will cause God to marvel?

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Is there anything you're dreaming about that's out of your
reach that you can't accomplish. That's too much, that's too hard,
that's too big. Well, it's time to awaken your faith
and cause God to be amazed and proud of you.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
So dare to believe?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Dare to believe, bigger dream?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Dare to believe for those miracles.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Father, God, in the name of Jesus Christ, thank you
for your beloved son, who is everything he says he
is and is still doing mighty works today.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Thank you that we can put unbelief.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Far from us and awaken our faith to believe and
ask bigger than we ever have. God, we want our
faith to amaze you in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's
your word for today. I want you to take that
apply to your everyday life and you continue to be
