Today's Word 05-06-25: What Are You Looking For?

I am a sherry Nacky at his time. Right now
for today's word, I'm asking the question, what are you
looking for? Isaiah thirty eighteen says, Yet the Lord longs
to be gracious to you. Therefore he will rise up
to show you compassion. Blessed are all who wait for him.

(00:21):
Did you notice in today's scripture that God longs to
be good to you, that he wants to show you
his favor and compassion. But there's a condition. He looks
for people who wait for him, who are expecting his goodness.
He's looking for people who believe that healing is coming,
that breakthroughs are on the way, that their future will
be brighter than their past. Could it be that God

is longing to show you his goodness, but you're not
seeing it because you're not looking for it. It's easy
to become passive and complacent in life, thinking you've seen
your best days. No, God has an incredible future still
plan for you. You still haven't seen the favor, the blessing,

(01:06):
and the things that God has in store for you.
The scripture says, his favor is for a lifetime, but
you got to be looking for it. You've got to
be expecting things to turn around, believing that God good
things are coming, thanking him that the best days are
still ahead of you. Don't put your faith on autopilot,

you know, just letting life happen and taking it as
it comes. No, God didn't create you to reach a
certain level it then get stuck right there. He promises
in his word that your path will get brighter and brighter.
So what are you looking for? Are you looking for favor?
Are you looking for the promises of God? Are you
expecting him to overwhelm you with his goodness? What are

you looking for? Or are you not looking for anything
at all? Or are your eyes closed? Oh Father God,
thank you for you are the all powerful God who
longs to be gracious to us. Thank you for being
the God who rises up and shows us compassion. God,

(02:13):
we declare that we're believing that your best, your goodness
is still in front of us. And God, we're looking
and expecting you to do great things in our future
in Jesus' name. Now that's your word for today. I
want you to take that apply to your everyday life
and you continue to be encouraged and inspired. It's your
