Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's your early what a praise party. I am Sherry
Mackee in his time for today's word. It's been prophesied
Matthew one twenty two through twenty three says. All this
took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through
the prophet, the virgin will conceive and give birth to
(00:21):
a son, and they will call him Emmanuel, which means
God with us. All the things that Mary went through
were to fulfill the prophecy that was spoken through the
prophet Isaiah hundreds of years before. She had to, as
a virgin, get pregnant at what seemed to be the
(00:42):
wrong time. She wasn't married, y'all, and nearly lost her
fiance Joseph in the process. Think about how everything happened.
It was prophesied that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem,
which meant that Si Augusta had to call for a
census to get them from Nazareth to Bethlehem at seemingly
(01:08):
the wrong time, because think about it, she was nine
months pregnant. She had to travel by donkey at nine
months pregnant. Then she got there and there was no
room available. In the end, she had to deliver the
Savior of the world in a manger. Now, God, you
(01:29):
called me to do this, but everything about it seems wrong.
I know me, I know Sherry, I would have probably
said this can't be God. All of these wrongs, though,
were necessary, They were prophesied. Can I tell you there's
a prophecy over your life too. There are things that
(01:52):
God is ordained for you to do that He's already
written in his book before time even began. And just
like Mary, you're not going to understand everything that happens.
It may seem wrong at the time, but let me
encourage you that it's all necessary. Remember the steps of
(02:12):
the righteous are ordered by the Lord. It's leading you
to the birth, to the promise, to the things bigger
than you can imagine, to favor, to influence an opportunity
like you've never seen before. It's been prophesied. And know
the journey may not be comfortable, but it is necessary. Father, God,
(02:35):
Thank you that you're taking us on journeys of faith
that is beyond our dreams. Thank you that we can
trust you when things seem wrong. Nothing that you have
ordained for us will happen God without your moving in
(02:58):
our lives. So help us to keep being faithful, to
do what's right, to give birth to what you've promised
and prophesied over our lives in Jesus' name. Hey, now
that's your word for today. Take him apply to your
everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
It is your early morning praise party. I am Sherry
