Today's Word 07-07-25: He's a God of Abundance

Oh body, does it like your early morning praise party.
I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time right now for
today's word. He's the God of abundance. Matthew seventeen twenty
seven in the New Living Translation says, go down to
the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth

(00:22):
of the first fish you catch, and you will find
a large silver coin. Take it to pay the taxes
for both of us. You know, oftentimes when we look
at our circumstances, we get overwhelmed by what we see
in the natural. We look at our bank account or

(00:44):
financial situation, and we don't see how we can pay
our bills. We don't see owning a home, or just
doing any more than just renting, if you will. We
don't see having a dream, let alone own accomplishing our dreams.
With the state of our economies, uncertainty just looming around,

(01:07):
inflated gas prices, food prices being so high it's hard
to make a meal, and high interest rates, we may
not see away in the natural. But guess what God is.
Jehovah Jirah. He is our provider. God is a supernatural god.
We don't have to see it in the natural when

(01:30):
we come to the end of our resources. Guess what
we're right where He wants us to be completely trusting
and relying on him. He says, I'll make streams in
the desert. I'll take five lows in two fish and
multiply them to feed thousands. When Peter didn't have money
to pay the Temple text, Jesus told him to go

(01:52):
to the lake and first fish he caught would have
a coin in its mouth that covered his and Jesus tax.
You see, God was showing us in this example that
he has supernatural provision for us. He's not limited by
what you don't have. He's not limited by your education,

(02:13):
or your career, or who may be in what position.
You may be barely getting by today, but you're going
to come out of not enough into more than enough.
God is not a get by God. He's an overflow God.
He's a God of abundance. So don't live with lack

(02:35):
or a lack mentality, a limited mindset. Stop looking and
focusing on your circumstances. You need to have an abundant
mentality because He is the God of abundance. Father, thank
you that you are away where there seems to be
no way and you're not limited by our circumstances or

(02:56):
what things have been like in our lives. Thank you
that we are in the palms of your hands and
you have supernatural ways of providing for what we need.
Help us God to have an abundance mentality and to
believe for overflow in our lives in Jesus' name. Hey,
