Today's Word 07-17-25: Good Enough is Not Your Destiny

It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Maggie.
It's time right now for today's word. Good Enough is
not your destiny. Each of you should use whatever gift
you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of
God's grace in its various forms. Y'aw that's the word

(00:23):
of God. And one Peter four inted It says again,
each of you should use whatever gift you have received
to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in
its various forms. God has placed gifts and talents inside
each of us for the purpose of serving others. And

(00:44):
too often we have gifts lying dormant because we're not
taking time to develop them. We're not being disciplined to
study the Word of God, to grow and mature spiritually,
to become a better version of ourselves. Have talents that
are underutilized because we're comfortable right where we are. We

(01:05):
don't want to stretch, we don't want to do something
out of our routine. We think I'm doing good enough.
But good enough is not your destiny. God called you
the greater. Sometimes we're stuck because we're intimidated, or we're scared.
We let thoughts of fear and doubt talk us out
of moving forward and trying something new. You can't take

(01:27):
that management position, you're not qualified. You can't teach that
Bible study. You don't know enough. You haven't trained your voice,
so you can't join the worship team. All of the
what ifs faults come to your mind. What if I
try and feel What if they don't like me? What
if you get up there and you're embarrassed? Well, why

(01:48):
don't you turn those thoughts around? What if you get
up there and you succeed. What if you go to
a new level. What if you set a new standard
for your whole entire family. Don't let fear keep you
from your destiny. Start stretching and taking steps of faith
to release the gifts that God has placed on the
inside of you, because good enough is not your destiny. Father, God,

thank you for what you've called us to do and
for the gifts and talents you've given us to fulfill
our destiny. Thank you for the privilege of serving others
and making the most of what you've given us. God,
we declare that we will not let fear hold us
back from releasing our gifts in you and Jesus' name. Hey,

now that's your word for today. I want you to
take that, apply that to your everyday life, and you
continue to be encouraged and inspired. It is your early
