Today's Word 07-23-25: Words Have Power

At your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Nacky
and it's time right now for today's word.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Words have power.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Proverbs four twenty three says, more than anything you God,
protect your mind, for life flows from it. More than anything,
you guard, protect your mind, for life flows from it. Y'all,
we all have voices that are trying to keep us

(00:33):
from our destiny. Sometimes it's people telling us what we
can't do or what we can become. They'll say you're
not qualified. It may even be experts telling us you're
never going to get well. You hear about the economy,
about inflation, about viruses, and politics, racism, division. It's so

(00:56):
easy to live in fear and worry. What's going to
happen next? How am I gonna make it? I want
you to remember that words have power.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Your words have power. Words are like seeds.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
If you dwell on them long enough, if you keep
speaking them out of your mouth, you gonna have what
you say. They're gonna take root, and they're gonna become
your reality.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
But here's the good news.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
You get to choose what gets planted in your soil.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
You are in control, So.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Don't just let any thing come out of your mouth.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Don't just let any seed get in your soil.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
If it's discouraging, if it brings fear, if it pushes
you down, don't give it the time of day. I
don't care if it's coming out of somebody else's mouth
or your own. Don't give the doubt from other people
or your own negative thoughts permission to become your reality.
You gotta toot out all the negative, limiting words. I

can't do that. I'm not able. That's never gonna happen now.
The devil is a liar. I can do all things
through Christ, who strengthens me. You don't have to receive
the negative. That's why it's so important for you to
study and know the word of God.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
You got to know it for yourself.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You need to get into agreement with what God says
about you and his word about you about your situation.
If you don't dwell on the negative, those words will
die still born and they won't have any effect on you.
Words have power, So keep your mind filled with positive, hopeful,

faith filled words. Watch the words that you allow to
come out of your mouth. If it doesn't agree with God,
don't let it come out of your mouth.

Because your words have power.

Father, God, thank you that we can guard our thought life,
stop allow negative thoughts to enter and take roots. We
can guard the words that are coming out of our mouths.
So help us to clear out all the weak, negative
thoughts and dwell on what you have to say about us. God,
we declare that we will think faith fill thoughts and

speak faith fill words in the name of Jesus, that
your word for today, take it applied to your everyday life,
and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
