Today's Word 07-28-25: Live Fully in Your Anointing

It's your early morning phrase party. I am a Sherry
Mackie and his time right now for today's word. Live
fully in your anointing. First, Samuel sixteen twelve through thirteen says,
and the Lord says, a rise, anoint him for this

(00:23):
is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and
anointed him in the midst of his brothers, and the
spirit of the Lord rushed upon David. From that day forward,
y'aw God chose a teenage shepherd boy named David to

(00:43):
become the next king of Israel. David didn't come from royalty.
His family was actually poor. His father didn't have any
influence in the nation. David didn't have any training or
experience beyond the shepherd's field. His father hadn't even called

(01:04):
him into the house as a possible choice from among
his eight sons to be anointed as the next king.
When Samuel showed up, he called everybody but David. Samuel
had to say, on, there's another. Then they went and
got David. His father didn't even know who he was

(01:25):
or see a king in him. Imagine how David felt
when Samuel anointed him and told him that he was
going to be chosen by God or he was the
chosen one, y'all, it didn't make sense. He knew that
if he showed up at the palace, they would have said,
who's this stranger? He has no qualifications. Maybe you feel

(01:50):
like David today. You know God's calling is on your length,
but you're a stranger. Maybe your mother, maybe your father,
doesn't even so what God has in store for you?
Will you do like David did and accept and believe
that you are chosen by God. Let me encourage you.

(02:12):
Don't go through life handpicked by the creator what sees
of greatness, redeemed and forgiven, but you never step up
to who you were created to be out of fear, doubt,
or even worry about what somebody else said or what
you think. Let today be the day that you say,
this is new to me, but I'm gonna live forumly

(02:34):
in the anointing that God has called me to as
a child of the Most hi God Father. Thank you
that people don't determine our calling or our destiny, but
you do. Thank you that you see our potential, you
see our faithfulness, you see our integrity. God, we believe

(02:56):
that you have things in our future that are beyond
what we've ever asked or imagined. In Jesus' name, that's
your word for today. I want you to take it
apply to your everyday life and you continue to live
