Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for today's word. On your early morning praise
party with me, your girl Sheery Nacky. Today's word called
beyond the catch look five ten and eleven says. Jesus
replied to Simon, don't be afraid. From now own, you'll

(00:20):
be fishing for people. As soon as they landed, they
left everything and followed Jesus. You know, Peter had spent
the night fishing and he didn't catch a thing. He
was exhausted, he was disappointed and lightly frustrated. He was
ready to pack it in. Then Jesus showed up. Oh,

(00:41):
and Jesus shows up. He told Peter to push out
into the deep water and let down his net again.
Peter hesitated at first, after all, he was the experienced
fisherman now, but he obeyed Jesus's word, and in that
moment everything changed because he chose to obey God. The

(01:05):
nets filled with so many fish that they began to break,
and the boats began to sink under the weight of
the blessing. Hello, somebody. Overwhelmed by the miracle, Peter fell
to his knees and cried out, Lord, please depart from me.
I'm too much of a sinner to be around you.
He felt unworthy, he felt unqualified, he felt undeserving of

(01:28):
such favor. But noticed Jesus's response. He didn't shame Peter.
He didn't agree with his doubts. Instead, he said, don't
be afraid. From now on, you will fish for people.
Jesus wasn't just feeling Peter's nets. He was calling him
to his destiny. He was saying, Peter, you may not

(01:49):
feel worthy, but I see more in you than you
see in yourself. You are forgiven, you are chosen. You
are called to be a disciple, your call to be
a world your call to be a history maker. This
is the heart of the gospel. God's blessing, his mercy,

(02:09):
his favor. They are not based on our performance, and
they're not based on perfection. Thank you Jesus, we can
earn them. They are gifts of grace. Just like Peter.
You may feel like your past has been too much,
and you may think I'm not qualified, I've made too
many mistakes. God can't use me. But the truth is

(02:34):
God specializes in using the unlikely. He calls the imperfect,
he redeems the broken, and he turns ordinary people into
extraordinary vessels for his glory. When Peter heard the call,
he left everything and followed Jesus. He exchanged the life
of catching fish for a life of catching souls. And

(02:55):
just like Peter, God is calling you beyond the temporary.
He's calling you beyond the blessings and to greater purpose.
The miracle of the fish was just the beginning. The
real miracle was the transformation of Peter's life. So don't
let fear, don't let shame or self doubt keep you
from receiving what God has placed before you. His call

(03:19):
is not about what you've done, but about what He's
able to do through you. Say yes, follow him and
step in two the life he has prepared for you.
Oh Father God, thank you for seeing more in us
than we often see in ourselves. Thank you that our
past mistakes and failures and shortcomings do not disqualify us

(03:42):
from your call. Help us to receive your grace, to
lay aside fear, and to step boldly into the destiny
that you prepared for us. We choose to follow you
wherever you lead in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your
word for today. Take it apply to your everyday life,
and you continue to be encouraged and inspired. AH here
on your early morning praise party with me, your girl,

(04:04):
