Today's Word 10-10-25: When Peace Takes Over

It's your early body praise party. I am Sherry Mackie,
and it's time right now for today's word. When peace
takes over. When peace takes over, Hebrews hoy E Levin says,
let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest
of God, to know and experience it for ourselves. You know,

(00:24):
there's a kind of peace that goes beyond human understanding,
one that allows you to smile when everything around you
seems uncertain. That's what the writer in Hebrews calls the
rest of God. It's not laziness, nor is it denial
of life's challenges. It's a confidence, settled assurance that God

(00:44):
is in control and working behind the scenes for your good.
When you've entered into that rest, the storms may come
in your life, but they don't shake your foundation. You
may get a bad medical worp, but you remind yourself
God has the final say. You may faith a financial setback, oh,

but deep down you know that the same God who
provided before will do it again. You're not riding a
roller coaster of emotions that go up and down with
every circumstance. You've chosen stapility because you trust in God.
The truth is worry doesn't change your situation. But you

(01:30):
know what does. Faith. When you do what you can,
you pray, you plan, you prepare, then you leave the
rest to God. You step into a supernatural calm, a
supernatural peace. That's when peace takes over. That's when your
load gets lighter and your heart grows stronger. Are you

(01:50):
losing sleep over something that only God can fix, Well,
maybe it's time to hand it back to him. Take
a deep breath today, and I want you to wish
for God. I trust you, and then do what the
word says. It says cast all of your cares on
him because He cares for you. So whatever that problem is,

(02:12):
whatever that care is, whatever that situation is, whoever that
person is, give it to God and trust that he
not only can he, but he will handle it. Ah.
I want you to let that be your declaration. God,
I trust you and know that He never fails. He

(02:33):
doesn't leave you, he doesn't forsake you. Father, God, thank you,
Thank you for inviting us into a place of peace
that the world cannot take away. Help us God to
rest in the knowledge that you are in control of
every detail of our lives. God, we refuse to worry
about the things that we cannot change, but we choose

(02:55):
God to trust in you and to rest in you.
Thank you for your peace that surpasses our human understanding.
