Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's your early morning praise party.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time right now for
today's word provision.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
In the mist.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Of pressure, First King seventeen and four says you will
drink from the brook. I have directed the ravens to
supply you with food there when times are uncertain, like
they are when prices rise, job shifts, and the future
feels unstable. As easy to give in to worry. You
(00:32):
look at the headlines, the bills, the balance in the.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Account, and you wonder how will I make it? But
here's the good news.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
The economy may change, but God never does. His faithfulness
isn't tied to inflation. His faithfulness is not tied to
interest rates or market trends. He remains Jehovah Jirah, the
Lord who provides. In the Book of First King seventeen,
the prophet Elijah face to severe famine. The land was dry,
(01:02):
food was scarce, and there was no rain in sight.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yet in the middle of the.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Draft drought, God told Elijah go to the brook called Cherif.
I have commanded the ravens to feed you.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Isn't that just like God?
Speaker 2 (01:16):
While others are running out, Elijah was being sustained. While
others search for help, God was sending it directly to him. Ravens, unclean,
unlikely messengers brought bread and meat every morning and evening.
Elijah didn't have to chase provision. Elijah didn't have to
look for it. Provision found him because he was where
(01:39):
God told him to be. See that's what faith looks
like in uncertain times. You may not know how it's
gonna happen, but you trust who is in control. God
has a brook for you. He has a place of
provision prepared before the problem ever arrived.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
It may not come through.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
The same channels as before. The company may change, the
source may shift, but your source.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Never does.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
See the same God who fed Elijah with ravens can
pay your bills when your knees need to be met.
He can sustain your household. And when the brook eventually
dried up, God didn't forget Elijah.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
He said, go to Sarah Fath.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
I've commanded a widow there to provide for you. See,
one door closed, but another.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Was already open. That's how God works.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
When one season ends, he's already arranged the next one.
You don't have to panic when the brook runs dry.
Just listen for his next instruction. Provision is already waiting.
If you're worried today about how things will come together,
take a deep.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Breath and remember this. You are not on your own.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Your job is a resource.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
God is your source.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
He fed millions of Israelites with manner in the wilderness.
He multiplied a widow's oil until every jar overflows.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
He turned two fish.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
And five lows into a meal that fed thousands. That's
the same God who's still providing. He's still multiplying, He's
still making a way where there sings to be no way.
Oh Father, God, thank you that you are our provider.
You are our source. Even in times of uncertainty, you
don't remain faithful. Help us to trust you, God, that
(03:28):
you've already prepared our provision.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
We trust God, you to rest.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
We choose to rest in your promise that you will
supply all of our needs according to your riches and glory. God,
we will not fear the famine. God, we will have
faith in the God who never fails. In Jesus' name.
Now that's your word for today. Take it applied to
your everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged and
inspired it's your early morning praise party.
