today's word provision.

Lord who provides. In the Book of First King seventeen,
the prophet Elijah face to severe famine. The land was dry,

food was scarce, and there was no rain in sight.

Draft drought, God told Elijah go to the brook called Cherif.
I have commanded the ravens to feed you.

While others are running out, Elijah was being sustained. While
others search for help, God was sending it directly to him. Ravens, unclean,
unlikely messengers brought bread and meat every morning and evening.
Elijah didn't have to chase provision. Elijah didn't have to
look for it. Provision found him because he was where

God told him to be. See that's what faith looks
like in uncertain times. You may not know how it's
gonna happen, but you trust who is in control. God
has a brook for you. He has a place of
provision prepared before the problem ever arrived.

The same channels as before. The company may change, the
source may shift, but your source.

dried up, God didn't forget Elijah.

I've commanded a widow there to provide for you. See,
one door closed, but another.

Oh Father, God, thank you that you are our provider.
You are our source. Even in times of uncertainty, you
don't remain faithful. Help us to trust you, God, that

you've already prepared our provision.

We choose to rest in your promise that you will
supply all of our needs according to your riches and glory. God,
we will not fear the famine. God, we will have
