Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
and it's time right now. Four. Today's word a peaceful
mind in a noisy world. A peaceful mind and a
noisy world. First Corinthians fourteen thirty three says God is

(00:20):
not a god of disorder, but of peace. Have you
ever noticed how easy it is to let clutter fill
your mind? Not physical clutter, but mental clutter? You know,
the constant replaying of past mistakes, the worry about the future,
the irritation over what someone said or did, or the

(00:42):
endless to do list that never seems to end. Over time,
those thoughts pile up like boxes in a room, crowding
out your peace and making it hard to think clearly
or even to rest deeply. You may be sleeping at night,
but if your mind is still racing, you're not truly resting.

(01:02):
God never meant for you to live that way. He
is not the author of confusion or chaos. He is
the God of peace. And where his peace reigns, disorder
has to go. You know, Sometimes, just like a cluttered house,
your mind needs to clean up. It's time to get
rid of the thoughts that no longer serve you you

(01:25):
know that worry, that guilt, that bitterness, that fear, that regret.
They take a valuable space that God wants to feel
with his promise, with his truth, and with his joy.
Philippians four eight tells us to think on the things
that are true, that are noble, that are right, that
are pure, that are praise worthy. That's not just good advice, y'all,

(01:48):
It's a divine key to a peaceful life. I want
you to start today by doing a mental rest or
a mental reset. When a negative thought tries to take root,
just stop and replace that thought with what God says.

(02:08):
So instead of I can handle this, say I can
do all things through Christ. Instead of I'll never get
past this, declare God is making all things new. As
you intentionally declutter your thoughts, you'll notice that your heart
feels lighter, your energy feels stronger, and your faith is deeper.

(02:31):
God wants your mind to be a place where He lives,
where his peace lives, not where worry resigns. When you
clear cut clutter, you make room for the presence of
the Lord. Oh Father, God, thank you for being the
God of peace and order. Help us to release every anxious,

(02:53):
cluttered and negative thought that weighs us down. God, teach
us to rest our minds in your truth and focus
on your promises. God, we choose peace, we choose faith,
and we choose to think on what is good in
Jesus' name. That's your word for today. I want you
to take it apply to your everyday life, and I

(03:15):
want you to have a peaceful mind in a noisy world.
It's your early morning praise party. I'm your girl. Sherry
