Today's Word 11-14-25: When God Controls the Fish

It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
and his time right now for today's word. When God
controls the fish, When God controls the fish, Luke five
and five says, But Simon answered and said to him.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Master, we've toiled all night and caught nothing.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Nevertheless, at your word, I'll let down the net. You know,
as Jesus preached along the Sea of Galilee, the crowd
pressed in so tightly that he got into Peter's boat
and pushed out from the shore so he could continue speaking.
When he finished, he gave Peter an unusual instruction, launch.

Into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.
Peter had been fishing all night, y'all.

He was a professional fisherman, and he hadn't caught a thing.

He knew the.

Waters, he knew the right spots, he knew the right
times to fish. Logically, there was no way he would
catch anything more.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
But Peter didn't argue.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Instead, he responded, Jesus, this doesn't make sense. Nevertheless, because
you say so, I'll do it, y'all. Is so important
to obey God, even when we don't understand all. The
result of Peter's obedience was miraculous. They caught so many

fish that their nets began to break, and when their
partners came in another boat, both boats were so full
they almost think. What Peter experience is a reminder that
God controls the outcomes of our lives, even when the
circumstances look impossible. He knows where provision is. He knows

(01:58):
how to restore us. He knows where the breakthroughs are hidden,
and he knows how to bring them to us, how
to make the right connections at the right time.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
He knows where our favor is.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Sometimes God's instructions simply don't make sense in the natural.
Maybe it's a step of faith in your finances, a
bold move in your career, or trusting him in your relationships. Well,
just like Peter, the key is obedience, humbling ourselves and

following his word even when logic says otherwise. See, that's
when you experience the overflow, That's when you experience the abundance,
and that's when you experience the blessings that only come
from the hand of God.

Oh Father, God, thank you that you.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Control every area of our lives, including our provision, our opportunities,
and our breakthroughs. God help us to humble our selves
and obey your instructions even when we don't understand. Thank
you that when we trust and follow you, abundance and
favor will overflow in our lives. In Jesus' name. Now
