Speaker 1 (00:00):
And it's time right now for today's word. Hold your
(00:06):
ground in the dry season, Hold your ground in the
dry season. Psalms twenty seven thirteen says, I remain confident
of this. I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. You know, there are
moments in life when the dream God placed in your
heart feels like it's drifting farther away instead and coming closer.
(00:30):
You pray, you believe, you do what's right, and yet
nothing seems to change. That's what makes Psalms. Twenty seven
thirteen so powerful. David says, I remain confident. Not confident
because everything looked good, not confident because the timing made
since but confident in spite of the dry season around him.
(00:51):
Joseph understood this kind of confidence. God gave him a
dream of leadership, influence, and purpose. The seed of greatness
was and it deep inside of him. But what followed
didn't look.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Anything like the promise.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
He was betrayed by his brothers, He was sold into slavery,
he was falsely accused and thrown into prison.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Thirteen years past.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Years of disappointment, years of waiting, years where the dream
looked completely impossible, Joseph could have allowed bitterness to take root.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
He could have.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Concluded that God had forgotten him, But instead, he held
his ground. He stayed confident in God's character even when
he couldn't understand God's timing. And because he stayed faithful
in the dry season, God positioned him for an unprecedented breakthrough.
And one single day, one morning, Joseph went from prisoner
(01:45):
to prime minister. See that's how quickly God can turn
things around for you. Maybe today you're in your own long,
difficult season. You're believing for healing, but the symptoms haven't changed.
You're praying over your children, but you haven't seen the
shift yet. You're working hard, but the promotion seems delayed.
(02:06):
The enemy loves to whisper It's never gonna happen. God
forgot about you. Just settle where you are. But I
want you to hear this, and hear it clearly. Your
dry season is not a dead season. God is still
working behind the scenes. He's still arranging connections, aligning opportunities,
and preparing you for your next level. One touch of
(02:27):
his favor can launch you into a place you could
never have gotten on your own. So don't you lose
your confidence now, No, no, no, don't you give up
right before your breakthrough. You keep honoring God, you keep
being faithful, You keep your heart right when it's the
right time, when you're prepared, and when the promises will
(02:49):
bring home or God the best glory. God's gonna unveil
what he's been doing all along, behind the scenes, and Joseph,
you'll look back and you'll say, I.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Didn't see it at the time, but God was directing
every step.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
So you hold your ground in the dry season because
goodness is coming to meet you in the land or
the living.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Come.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Oh Jesus Father, thank you that you are our deliverer,
You're our vindicator when negative things come against us. Thank
you that we can remain confident in knowing that you
are faithful and that you never forget the promises that
you've made.

Help us to stay strong, Help us to.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
Stay faithful and stay expected even in the dry seasons. God,
we believe we will see your goodness in our lives.

to your everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged
