Today's Word 12-08-25: Break Its Hold

Nobody does this like your early wanting praise party with me,
your girl Sherry Mackie. And it's time right now for
today's word, Break its hold, Break its hold. John eight
thirty six of the Amplified says, So if the sun
makes you free, then you are unquestionably free. You know,

(00:24):
there are moments in life when we realize we're fighting
battles that seem bigger than us. Patterns we didn't choose,
struggles we didn't start in cycles we never wanted to carry.
Research and experience both show that certain tendencies, whether anger, fear, addiction, depression,
or even patterns or broken relationships, often travel from one

(00:46):
generation to the next. They show up in families like
unwanted inheritance whispering this is just who you are now.
But the good News of the Gospel declares something far
greater may have started before you, doesn't have to continue
with you or through you. The power of Jesus Christ

(01:09):
breaks every chain, It disrupts every cycle and destroys every
stronghold that tries to limit your future. The Sun came
not only to forgive you, but to free you, to
cut off the spiritual roots of anything that's tried to
keep you bound. Yet, freedom often begins with recognition. If
we accept aysfunctional as normal, we give it permission to stay.

(01:34):
If we say this is just how my family is,
we unintentionally agree with the limitations that God never intended
for us. Freedom starts when you rise up and decide
this ends with me. God is calling you to be
the one who draws a line in the sand and
say I will not carry this forward. I will walk

(01:57):
in freedom, the freedom that Jesus paid. See when Jesus
set you free, he didn't do a half job. He
didn't offer partial deliverence or temporary relief. He offered unquestionable freedom.
Freedom that reaches into your soul, your habits, your identity,
your relationships, and even your lineage. And when you stand

(02:21):
in agreement was what He is already declared over your life,
chains began to lose their grips. So today lift your
head and declare, I am a childhood God. I am
not bound by what held my family back. I am
not trapped by my past. The cycle breaks with me.

(02:42):
I am free. Indeed, I want you to walk in
that truth. I want you to live in that truth.
I want you to let your funeral future generations. Thank
God that someone in the family finally stood up and
broke its hold. Oh Father, thank you that when Christ
conquered death on the cross, he broke the power of

(03:02):
every negative thing that's tried to hold us back. Thank
You that any stronghold of the enemy within our family
lines are being destroyed. Here the name of Jesus, we
believe that we are unquestionable, le free in Jesus' name.
That's your word for today. Take it, apply it to
your everyday life, and you go ahead and break its hold.
