Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's your early body praise party. I am Sherry Mackey
at its time, right now. For today's word, step fast
through every season. Proverbs three three through four of the
message translation says, don't lose your grip on love and loyalty.
Tie them around your neck, carved their initials on your heart.
(00:22):
Earn a reputation for living well in God's eyes, at
the eyes of the people. You know. Life has a
way of testing our commitment, whether it's in our relationships,
our dreams or calling, or our responsibilities. There will come
a point when the excitement fades, when the progress slows
(00:43):
down and the road becomes harder than we expected. Many
people start strong, but struggle to stay steady when things
no longer feel easy or inspiring. Somewhere in the middle
between where you begin and where God is taking the
temptation arises to loosen your grip on what matters most. See.
(01:05):
This is why today's scripture tells us not to lose
our grip on love and loyalty. These two qualities are powerful.
They are not just emotions. They are choices. They are
decisions we make over and over again. Even when our
feelings waver, love keeps us compassionate, forgiving and patient. Loyalty
(01:27):
keeps us committed, stable, and dependable. Together, they mark us
as people who reflect the character of God. There will
be times when your marriage hits a rough patch, when
your job feels draining, when your dreams seem delayed, and
when someone close to you disappoints you. Those other moments
(01:50):
when love and loyalty are truly tested, will you hold
on even when it's not easy. Will you continue showing up,
giving your best and honoring God the process? The truth
is that what God has promised you may be taking
longer than you expected. You may not see any progress
at all. But that delay is not denial. It is
(02:13):
a test of your endurance and a test of your trust.
God is not asking you to be perfect, but he
is asking you to be steadfast. When you refuse to quit,
when you stay committed in hard seasons, when you love
even when it's costly, you're demonstrating a faith that honors him.
(02:33):
You're saying, God, I trust your timing, I trust your plan.
I trust that what you started in my life you
will finish. So dig your heels in, stay the course,
keep doing the right thing, even when it's hard. You
have what it takes because God is with you. He's
strengthening you. Choose today to be a person marked by
(02:56):
unwavering love and unshakable loyalty, one others can count on
and someone God can use. Oh Father God, thank you
that you have never waived in your commitment to love
us faithfully. Thank you for giving us the strength and
the grace to remain stepfast when life gets hard. Help
us God to walk in on wavering love and loyalty
(03:20):
in our relationships, in our responsibility, in our dreams that
you place in our hearts. Make us people who honor
you and impact others through consistency and commitment. In Jesus' name, Hey,
now that's your word for today. Take it applied to
your everyday life, and you continue to be stepfast through
(03:40):
every season. In Jesus' name, it's Earlybody praise Party. I
