Today's Word 12-12-25: Stir Up What's in You

It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
and his time right now for today's word. Stir up
what's in you? Romans twelve and six and the New
Live in translation says, in his grace, God has given
us different gifts for doing certain things. Well. So if
God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out

(00:23):
with as much faith as God has given you. You
know every one of us has been given something by
God in ability, a talent, a passion, a gift. It
may not look like somebody else's, and it may not
feel big or important, But Scripture reminds us that God
gives gifts by his grace, and he gives them for

(00:44):
a purpose. You don't need a platform, you don't need
a title, you don't need a spotlight for God to
use what's inside of you. He specializes in taking what
looks small and using it in powerful ways. I want
you to think about David. When we think of Day,
we often think of the king, we think of the psalmist,
or we think of the giant slayer. But when God

first began to move in his life, David wasn't on
the battlefield. He was out in the shepherd field. He
was faithfully practicing with a sling. Nobody saw him, nobody
applauded him. But David kept developing the gift he had.
See what seemed ordinary, a simple skill with the stone

(01:29):
became the very thing God used to open the door
to his destiny. David didn't know his gift would one
day bring him before kings. He didn't know that the
practice in the field would position him for a victory
that would change a nation. He was simply faithful. See
that's a lesson for us. You may be tempted to

(01:50):
look at what you have and think this doesn't matter,
This isn't special, this will never take me anywhere. But
God is saying otherwise. What you have may see small
in your hands all, but it's significant in God's hands.
He has placed something unique inside of you, something only
you can do, something only you can bring, something designed

to bless others in advance his kingdom. When you stir
up the gift inside of you, when you take time
to grow and develop it, God will breathe on it.
He will open doors you didn't expect. He will take
you further than your resume, your connections on your background
could ever take you don't get caught up in comparing

(02:32):
your gift to somebody else's. Don't bury what God put
on the inside of you because you don't think it's enough.
I want you to stir it up. Take a step,
use what God has already given you, Use what you
have right where you are. When you honor God with
your gift, he will honor you with opportunities. Poe, Father,
thank you for entrusting us with gifts, with talents, with abilities,

unique things that you placed in on purpose. Thank you
that greatness is inside of us because you put it there.
Help us to stir up what you've given us, to
develop it and use it for your glory. God. We
declare that we're coming up higher. We believe you're gonna
breathe on whatever we offer to you, according to your
